16 years in a cult, 15 years in an anticult, 8 years out of both.

I was involved in Scientology and when I got high enough in the organization to see the extent I'd been lied to, and to see the extent to which the leaders of the organization - not the low low level followers - were outright criminals, I left in 1999 and began exposing them on the internet.

They applied their policies of "fair game" to me - got me fired from my job, followed by PIs, and tried to destroy my family.

I spent the next 15 years fighting against them as an anti-scientologist until I began to see the same tribalism and cruelty in anti-scientology that I'd seen in Scientology.

I've spent the last 8 years writing about Scientology and antiScientology, cults and Anticults.
