The new single from Beev Rations, premeriered today and due for release on February 8, is as full of swing, blues and surprises musically as it is meaningful and sharp lyrically, all infused with the band's indie, alternative, inquisitive and iconoclastic spirit. Alan James dissects in Official Fake News the world of "authorized" and "certified" information, its propagation media and the powers that pull the strings behind the scenes. Then it is up to the listener to consider whether what he has heard is simply an anodyne, scathing or sarcastic look -more or less theatrical and irreverent- at the world of information, or whether it is also simply a matter of the facts and life itself in this "information society", so "civilized", where the truth -many still want to believe- is told by the powers that be through the "authorities", "journalists", talk show hosts and entertainers who appear on television, radio and in the press, all for the common good or the safety of the citizens. El nuevo single de Beev Rations viene tan cargadito de swing, blues y sorpresas en lo musical como de significado y agudeza en lo lírico, todo ello infundido del espíritu indie, alternativo, inquisitivo e iconoclasta de la banda. Alan James disecciona en Official Fake News el mundo de la información "autorizada" y "certificada", sus grandes medios de propagación y los poderes que mueven los hilos de todo ello desde las bambalinas. Luego ya es cuestión del oyente el considerar si lo que ha oído es simplemente una anodina, mordaz o sarcástica mirada -más o menos teatral e irreverente- al ámbito informativo, o si se trata, también sencillamente, de los hechos y la vida misma en esta "sociedad de la información" tan "civilizada", donde la verdad -quieren creer todavía muchos- la cuentan los poderes fácticos a través de las “autoridades”, “periodistas”, contertulios y entretenedores que salen por televisión, radio y prensa, todo por el bien común o la seguridad de los ciudadanos. Beev Rations, an indie band featuring the DIY artist Alan James, released their new single entitled Daydream which, accompanied by a powerful official video (freely shareable, CC 4.0), shows an explicit criticism of the mass media, in particular about their role in manipulating and transmitting official propaganda about the plandemic and "the vaccine". As being this also a proactive message, keys are also given to disconnect from the false reality presented by the media and "authorities", recovering the reins of our lives and serenity, empowering ourselves both individually and collectively, with a more responsible and conscious use of our attention and focus on the day a day. On the other hand, the official video of The Tipping Point, a previous single by Beev Rations, also very explicit about the plandemic, was repeatedly censored by YouTube and can no longer be seen on that platform.
