Why Did I Travel to Oregon?
No sooner did I finish testing a possible solution to my shop power needs, than Doug Sewell with Sewell Motor Coach contacted me for some help. He purchased a 2019 Berkshire class A diesel motorhome from Beaver Coach Sales in Bend, Oregon. He asked if I could do an inspection before pciking it up to make sure that it was a good buy. While I wanted to help him, and travel to Oregon, I explained that I just did not have time for a nearly coast to coast road trip from Oregon to Kentucky. So unphased, he said dive it to my shop in Arizona and then we'll figure it out later. So, a day later, I was on a plane to Oregon to pick up this unit, because although I have not explored Oregon much, I was really intrigued to see Beaver Caoch Sales in Bend, OR. You see that is the original location of the Beaver Motor Home factory, where my RV, a 2001 Beaver Patriot Thunder, was made. While due to the rushed nature of the journey and a 6 hour flight delay, I was not able to explore as much as I had planned, I was still able to discover more about Beaver Motor Homes, and Bend, OR. But I think the most surprising thing was how impressed I was with the 2019 Berkshire after two days of traveling. The follow up walk thru video will be up as soon as possible.

Roof Inspection on a 2009 Allegro Bus: What Did I Find?
I had a viewer reach out to me awhile back asking for a Pre-sale inspection. Unfortunately, life threw us all curveballs, and everything went sideways. As I could not arrange my schedule to inspect before the sale, they risked everything and bought it first. So today, I am able to finally do the inspection and because I happened to be at Cassone's RV just adjacent to Mesa Spirit RV Resort, I was able to do the roof inspection quickly and figured we could all use a quick roof inspection video. They did give me permission, and could not be nicer people, so please be kind in comments.

Solving Boondocking and Off-Grid Problems: Testing the "Mango Power E"
Today I'm going to try something different with the channel. As many viewers will know, I moved to a new to me shop/yard in February of 2022, but as I am rarely there full time, I have not addressed some of the issues associated with a primative/off-grid shop. However, recently I have been at the shop a lot more and even though most RVs I have there do have their own generator, most towables do not. It's also difficult to run extension cords and hoses from RVs everytime I need power or air.
I did not have a great easy solution until Mango Power reached out to me and asked me to try their new product: Mango Power E. It is a complete power generator and on-grid power company in a box which can also power a 30amp RV outlet and most shop power tools, with little to no setup.
They did ship the product to me to try and I devised the best practical methods to test the system out as I am not a "Wonk" that gets too interested in numbers and ratings. Here is my best effort over the last week to test the unit. This is still a new product and I was not able to test the App or a few other options, but overall I'd say it is a viable and well build product which I suspect will be a very standard bit of camping gear and entire catagory in the near and far future as fuel prices and maintenance become a more unwanted part of this lifestyle.
Also please note the battery voltage is 48VDC, just learned after the video.
