Todays video was a blast to do as we had our first guest on the series Coach Vance Newgard a very well known coach in the space. Vance has taught many athletes in the sport over the years and also educated and continues to educate the overall Olympic Weightlifting community. It was awesome to sit and chat with him on the lift off phase of the lift as many neglect this specific piece of the lift and talk about its nuances and also what many can do better in this area of the lift. The Olympic lifts are demanding and sometimes the coordination between balance, timing, and explosiveness makes these lifts harder than they need to be.
