Are you able to do lots of work in a limited space?
Yes, without question. The biggest issues we face in our 2stallgarage are organization. Keeping the workspace organized and both stalls clear of clutter really helps with motivation, which then helps with productivity. Basically, if I see a clean workspace, I'm much more ready to dive into a project or even just scheduled maintenance.

What are YOU working on?
Today, we're on the hunt for a cheap daily driver. Surprisingly, they still do exist. If you're hoping to do the same, don't give up your search.
What are we doing today?

What are we using to complete the work?
Prayer, hope and life experience.

The family VW is on the fritz.

What are we doing today?
Attempting to rebuild this Campbell Hausfeld air compressor.
What are we using to complete the work?
Common hand tools
Do you have any concerns about today's work?
Concerns about the pump shaft and pulley. Either or might be a bit wonky.
Why did you decide to do this?
We want to show you ways to achieve quality tools for less.
What's your favorite thing about this work?
Well, we hope this video helps someone be encouraged to purchase or even pull a pile of S(crap) from the junk yard and turn it into a quality too for their own use. It is often true, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Don't have money to buy expensive tools? See if you can fix someone else's and make it your own. This is something YOU CAN DO so REACH OUT with QUESTIONS and don't be afraid of doing the work yourself.

P0299 Turbocharger Underboost RESOLVED!
Subscribe and join the 2StallGarage family on Facebook @2StallGarage, and Instagram @2StallGarageLLC.
Here we are, in the shop for day number 3 of diagnosing and attempting to resolve this P0299 Turbocharger Underboost condition for this 2005 Jeep Liberty Diesel CRD Limited. Thanks for coming along! Can we FINALLY get this resolved? We hope so.
We would love to have you join our 2StallGarage family. Hit subscribe and let us know what you've got going on in your shop, driveway, parking lot, or wherever you are working.
What are we doing today?
Today, we're replacing the secondary runner valve.
What are we using to complete the work?
Common hand tools!
Do you have any concerns about today's work?
We would like to take this vehicle to Tennessee this coming week. Hopefully today is the day we get this Jeep's boost back.
Why did you decide to do this?
Because doing an EGR delete, intercooler replacement, MAF replacement, Catalytic converter clean out, and fuel filter replacement didn't resolve the P0299 Turbo Underboost Condition.
Any advice for others experiencing this issue?
Research, look over your vehicle for any obvious issues, and most importantly, don't give up. If you like your vehicle and want to fix it, you can do it. If you can't, someone else somewhere is likely willing to help out.
How are you going to fix this issue?
Inspect the vehicle's EGR, exhaust, fuel, and computer system for issues.
What's your favorite thing about working on diesel Jeeps?
We like to keep these older CRD's on the road. They run 30+ on highway MPG, have part & full time 4WD, and are modern enough to still be a daily driver.
What would you improve, if anything?

Are you able to do lots of work in a limited space?
Yes, without question. The biggest issues I face in our 2 stall garage is organization. Keeping the workspace organized and both stalls clear of clutter really helps with motivation, which then helps with productivity. Basically, if I see a clean workspace, I'm much more ready to dive into a project or even just scheduled maintenance like today's oil change.

Jeep Liberty ABS Light Is On RESOLVED!
Subscribe and join the 2StallGarage family on Facebook @2StallGarage, and Instagram @2StallGarageLLC.
It seems to be never ending with this Jeep Liberty KJ CRD, however; we're getting close to having all of it's issues worked out. Today, we take a look at the ABS system and more specifically the wiring of the system.
We just replaced both front wheel hubs/ABS sensors putting the rear ABS wheel speed sensor front and center of our next troubleshooting point of this work.
Both the BRAKE and ABS lights are lighting up the dash on this vehicle, which has been the case for well over a year now.
A couple symptoms have been a non-working ABS system, meaning the wheels simply lock up when the brake petal is heavily suppressed as well as a non-working odometer.
We would love to have you join our 2StallGarage family. Tell us what you've got going on in your shop, driveway, parking lot, or wherever you are working.
What are we doing today?
Jeep KJ ABS system troubleshooting.
What are we using to complete the work?
Pretty common hand tool and a replacement pigtail connector for the rear speed sensor.
Do you have any concerns about today's work?
We are about to embark on a 3,500 mile round trip to Pensacola, FL and would like to have a working ABS system for safety reasons.
Why did you decide to do this?
Safety concerns.
Any advice for others experiencing this issue?
There are several threads online that discuss this issue to go along with several YouTube Videos. Take some time, do some research and hopefully you'll be able to resolve this issue on your own while saving a good amount of money along the way. You can do it!
How are you going to fix this issue?
Troubleshooting and not giving up.
What's your favorite thing about working in the shop?
Ensuring the job is done right while saving money, which in turn, helps provide for my family. More and more, we are enjoying engaging in our 2stallgarage community of doers. Thank you for watching today and God bless.
What would you improve, if anything?
I would have done this a year ago.

Winter time = Muscle Car Storage

Jeep Liberty CRD Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement
Subscribe and join the 2StallGarage family on Facebook @2StallGarage, and Instagram @2StallGarageLLC.
Today, we are working on this 2005 Jeep Liberty KJ which has a loud grinding noise coming from the front. We'll take a look and see how much replacing the front wheel bearings and hubs will improve the ride quality in this vehicle.
We would love to have you join our 2StallGarage family. Tell us what you've got going on in your shop, driveway, parking lot, or wherever you are working.
What are we doing today?
Replacing both front wheel bearings and hubs.
What are we using to complete the work?
Slide Hammer Set
Impact Drill
Common Hand Tools: Wrench, Sockets, etc.
Jack & Jack Stands
Torch (to heat up rusted bolts)
New Wheel Bearing & Hubs combos from Rock Auto.
Bearing/Hub Part# WJB WA513177
Bearing/Hub Part# WJB WA513176
Do you have any concerns about today's work?
We are hoping the bolts that hold the hubs on will come out. We did not have a 12 point 11mm socket to complete this work which is called for, however, if you have an 11mm standard socket, you can make it work by heating up the bolts to reduce the amount of necessary torque to free them.
Why did you decide to do this?
Loud noise coming from the front and into the cab is affecting the ride quality. The ABS & Brake Lights are also lit up on the dashboard.
Any advice for others experiencing this issue?
Replacing wheel bearings and hubs or both can be very expensive. You can do this on your own with some simple training/researching. Just make sure you have the tools needed to do the work and be safe. Always use appropriate jacks and jack stands together to ensure you don't get hurt during your work.
We saved over $680 by replacing these wheel bearings in our own shop (just a 2 stall garage).
How are you going to fix this issue?
We will replace the hub and wheel bearing at the same time on both sides. Jeep simplified this one by putting them together and using 3 bolts to secure or remove them. Thank you Jeep.
What's your favorite thing about working in the shop?
Ensuring the job is done right while saving money, which in turn, helps provide for my family. More and more, I am enjoying engaging in our 2stallgarage community of doers. Thank you for watching today and God bless.
What would you improve, if anything?
I would have preferred to have that 12 point 11mm socket required to remove the 3 bolts securing each hub.

1971 Dodge Demon Classic Car Project
In this series, we are preparing to sell this 1971 Dodge Demon. In part 1, we finally get this project off the ground by removing the Demon from storage. This car has spent the majority of the last 18 years in storage. It's time for someone to get out and enjoy this American classic.
About this 1971 Dodge Demon:
- Restored in the 1990s
- Original Color: Brown
- 318ci engine
What are we doing?
Today, we are attempting to move the car out of storage and into a local shop for a new fuel sending unit, along with some electrical diagnosis & repair.
What are we using?
We bring along a battery, jumper cables, gasoline, and our excitement as we try to fire up this classic car for the 1st time in a year.
Do you have any concerns about today's work?
Our only concern is the wiring. Although this car was restored in the 1990s, it seems to have several wiring issues, stemming from aftermarket accessories such as; roll control, tachometer, radio, and triple gauge cluster. This car has had a short the last two times we've put it on the road.
Are you going to put different wheels on it?
Yes, we have original Mopar Rallye wheels which will be going on after they undergo reconditioning. We will complete the wheel(s) reconditioning in our shop. Stay tuned for that video!
What's your favorite thing about this car?
Our favorite thing about this car is simply enough, that it's a Demon. Dad had a 1972 Dodge Demon in high school. We purchased this car in 2003 because of dad and with the hope of just having some fun in the car.
Doing any body work in this project?
Yes, we'll be reworking the hood, replacing the wheels, and doing some work in the trunk as well.
What do you think your favorite part of this project will be?
Working together with dad on something we both enjoy.
Believe it or not...
This Demon was an undesirable brown color from factory. Although it's a two door, you likely wouldn't have thought of this as a sports car, muscle car, or even a class car maybe, someday. I wouldn't have given this car much of a look and certainly not a 2nd look before it's restoration was completed in the 90s. New paint, big pinstripes, and a flat black hood can change a lot for a car. Hope you enjoy this video!
Should I take on restoration project of my own?
Sure! Put a plan together, stay organized along the way and don't lose parts. I've found projects or repairs go much smoother when I designate an area to be used solely for the purpose at hand until the job is complete. This provides a space to put nuts and bolts, old and new parts, etc. without the worry or actuality of cross contaminating the work area with other parts, projects, tools, and even garbage.

Fireplace Hearth DIY Build in 6 Minutes
Today, we are building a fireplace hearth base for a freshly restored Intrepid II wood burning stove by Vermont Castings. We decided to build our own hearth after searching eBay, Amazon, and local stores in hopes of finding a deal we would feel comfortable agreeing upon. After our initial time spent looking, we came to the decision to move forward building our own, knowing it would be made for heavy duty application while also using quality building materials.
Materials we used for this build were standard 2x4s, 2 1/2 - 3 inch torx wood screws, a small drill bit, battery powered drill, skill saw, miter saw, and 2 saw horses.
We spent about $17 dollars on the 2x4s at Menards and $26 on a sheet of 4x8 OSB. Total cost all in of about $50.00 for this fireplace hearth. This specific part of the build does not include finishing's such as bricks, pavers, etc.
Total time into this build was about 5 hours, which I can attribute to the fact that I am not a professional carpenter. Remember, you can do this if you are wanting to.. 1 step at a time and ensure you have the tool(s) to do the work. Tools have made a big difference in our little 2 stall garage. As always, be safe when working on any project. We don't want you to get hurt, at the same time, follow your hopes, dreams, and plans. Remember, you can do this.
Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed the video. Subscribe and hang out with us again.

Husky 20 Gallon Air Compressor Failure Solved
Model: Husky C201H - Capacity: 20 gal, Features: Oil Free, Portable, With Wheels, Flow Rate: 4 CFM, Power Output: 1.3 hp, Power Source: Electric, Pump Style: Single Stage, Tank Style: Vertical.
80% longer run time compared to 20 Gal. compressor w/ 150 max PSI.
Runs on up to 400 ft. of Extension Cord
Cold Start Capable to -20°F (-29°C)
This Husky 20 Gallon Air Compressor failed during a morning masonry project. We were using the compressor to cut bricks for a fireplace hearth project. Today, we are working to repair this economically priced air compressor. Although these compressors may be considered disposable by some consumers, they are a solid option at an affordable price for the average DIYer.
We have used this compressor in our shop @2StallGarage for just under 2 years. This compressor works well for small to small/medium sized tasks. Some things we've done with this compressor are, paint autos, paint cast iron stoves, masonry projects, ATV restorations and more.
Although this compressor is great for a beginner and even the average DIY shop, we would not recommend using this compressor in larger unfiltered or filtered air supply systems due to the compressor not coming with the option of an air filter. The air intake is a conduit tube that would normally be used to shield automotive wiring.
I believe we paid around $215 for this compressor. You can now find them around $100 online, if they are in stock.
It appears they are no longer manufacturing this model, therefore if you are going this route, you will likely want to look for the next latest line or model of the Husky 20 gallon compressor.
Total cost of repair at project completion: $7.00 (approx.)
Total labor time of repair: 90 min (approx)
