2009 E-Z-GO RXV 48V AC Motor is finally running. I fix the rivet nuts that hold the backrest supports, coat and protect the motor cables, do some much needed cleaning and take it for the first drive.

Decided to test the 94 E-Z-GO Marathon with some of the AO Lithium 12V Batteries. These are Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries, professionally built, with 100 amp BMS in each 12V Battery.

The original LEV60 Lithium Build is too cumbersome to move around easily, but rather than disconnecting all of the BMS wiring from the cells, I'm splitting the wiring to make it easy to move the cells as two 24V packs that can be re-connected into a 48V pack when ready to use on a project.

Bought this 2009 E-Z-GO RXV 48v AC Motor a year or so ago and it's been on the to-do list since I got it. It's in terrible shape, so I'm glad to be giving it some much needed attention. This video is stripping it down and dealing with a couple of headaches in the process.

I picked up a used (genuine) Curtis Albright SW200 48v Contactor Solenoid and am rebuilding it with new contacts. It's super simple to do and definitely worth it if you find a good deal on a used HD Solenoid/Contactor. We also take a look at the difference between another SW200 with open sides and a built-in diode and micro-switch.

The Forward and Reverse switch died in my 70's Club Car Caroche after I'd updated the rear leaf springs. I decide to really get on it to test the springs and fragged the original F&R switch. This is part 2 of 2.

Jumping back to the original setup, I had to modify the controller/potentiometer mount for the Marathon. Also discovered the old solenoid/contactor was toast, so upgraded to a red hawk.

We've ditched the stock 6ga cables and added massive 1/0 cables. Still 36 volts with the original 2hp motor and controller, but with the 200ah LFP home-built batteries.

So I've got the Cushman Titan and knew the batteries were struggling. Before replacing them I wanted to try rejuvenating them using a cheap stick welder. The existing batteries are Trojan T105's 225 ah 6v's. They've seen better days, so nothing to lose with this experiment.

Back when I first started keeping track of projects, I'd done a couple of speed tests, back to back, with the 70's Club Car Caroche. Being the first speed tests, I didn't think to do a standing start. Still, this cart was completely stock with the 36v resistor system and stock wheels. Comparing this to the stock, slightly more modern, 94 E-Z-GO 36v, it was 25% better uphill and 17% better downhill.
