TORNADOS,SNOW AND BUCK DOWN ON ALABAMA PUBLIC LAND.
Alabama weather can be crazy. One day tornados and the next a snow storm. Watch as I chase Alabama whitetails through extreme weather in southern swamps. A crossbow is my choice of archery equipment. I make a bad shot on the deer yet he goes down in about 50 yards. This was the first deer Iv'e seen on public land in Alabama this year. It has been a very difficult year of deer hunting but persistence and confidence pays off while hunting a pinch point and travel corridor coming out of a bedding area. Buck sign was at a minimum but all the ingredients for a successful hunt. Hunting during thunderstorms, hunting in the snow and hunting after a weather change is a plan for success.

The season is coming to a close in Alabama. Jeff Glover hasn't killed any this year so he goes to harvest a whitetail doe from the plentiful heard he has on his private land. Enjoy the abundance of deer action on an evening February doe hunt. He attempts to take one with archery equipment but as light wanes he gives up the crossbow and picks up a rifle. He gives a pass on an extraordinarily large doe.
