NASA Cyber Attack..
In 1999, a hacker named Jonathan James, also known as "c0mrade," successfully infiltrated NASA's computer systems. James was only 15 years old at the time.
The attack allowed James to gain unauthorized access to various NASA computers, including those containing software related to the International Space Station (ISS). He managed to download source code for the International Space Station's operating system, which was valued at around $1.7 million.
The intrusion led to concerns about the security of sensitive information related to space missions. James claimed that his motivation was curiosity and a desire to explore the security vulnerabilities of NASA's systems. However, the incident raised questions about the overall cybersecurity of critical infrastructure and government organizations.
Jonathan James was later arrested in 2000, and he faced legal consequences for his actions. The incident underscored the importance of cybersecurity and prompted organizations to enhance their efforts to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.

Inflated Bullock Skins: A Centuries-Old River Navigation Technique
In the early 1900s, during the colonial era in India, inhabitants of the Himalayan and Punjab regions ingeniously employed inflated bullock skins as makeshift boats for ferrying passengers across rivers. This unconventional mode of transportation, which caught the attention of American school teacher, traveler, and photographer James Ricalton, was documented as part of his extensive exploration of the subcontinent's diverse cultures and customs through photography.
While traversing remote villages in the hills of Punjab, Ricalton encountered a scene reminiscent of an ancient practice. The use of inflated skins for river crossings was not exclusive to India, as evidenced by a bas-relief from ancient Mesopotamia at Nimrud. Dating back to the rule of King Ashurnasirpal II (883-859 BC) in Assyria, the relief, now housed in the British Museum, depicts Assyrian soldiers swimming buoyed by small inflated skins, likely sourced from goats.
This age-old technique extended beyond Mesopotamia, finding historical mention in the exploits of notable figures. Cyrus the Great, as chronicled by Xenophon, employed inflated or stuffed animal skins to navigate a Babylonian river. Darius I, in 522 BC, utilized a similar method to cross the Tigris River. The Mongol troops under Genghis Khan carried inflatable animal skins during their westward conquests, and Kublai Khan, his grandson, combined inflated skins with wooden rafts when circumstances demanded.
This ingenious solution persisted through time, with both the Romans and Arabs resorting to the simplicity of inflated skins for river crossings. The story of the bullock skin boats in colonial India thus echoes a broader historical tapestry, connecting a remote Himalayan village to ancient Mesopotamia and the great empires of antiquity.

Liquid Fire Vietnam
The use of napalm during the Vietnam War is a well-documented and controversial aspect of the conflict. Napalm is a highly flammable incendiary weapon that was extensively used by the United States during the Vietnam War, primarily from the mid-1960s to the early 1970s.
Napalm is a gel-like substance that sticks to surfaces, causing extensive burns when ignited. It was used in various forms, including bombs, flamethrowers, and artillery shells. One of the most infamous incidents involving napalm during the Vietnam War was the photograph of a young girl named Phan Thi Kim Phuc running naked down a road after a napalm attack on her village. The image became a symbol of the devastating impact of the war on civilians.
The use of napalm in Vietnam sparked widespread international condemnation and contributed to the growing anti-war sentiment. The long-term environmental and health effects of napalm use continue to be felt in affected areas.
Please Note : It's important to note that discussions about historical events, especially those involving conflict and suffering, should be approached with sensitivity and awareness of the human cost of such actions.

The Pizza Bomber
The "pizza bomber" case refers to a bizarre and tragic incident that took place in 2003 in Erie, Pennsylvania, USA. The case involved a man named Brian Wells, who was a pizza delivery driver. On August 28, 2003, Wells entered a PNC Bank with a bomb strapped to his neck and a note demanding money.
Wells handed the note to the bank teller, claiming that he was being forced to rob the bank and that the bomb around his neck was real. He left the bank with a bag containing $8,702. Shortly thereafter, he was apprehended by law enforcement.
While waiting for the bomb squad to arrive, the device around Wells' neck detonated, killing him. The incident gained widespread attention due to its unusual and perplexing nature. The investigation revealed a complex and bizarre plot involving a scavenger hunt-style set of instructions and multiple individuals.
Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong and Kenneth Barnes were identified as key suspects in the case. Diehl-Armstrong was later convicted of being the mastermind behind the plot, which involved using Wells as a pawn in a scheme to rob a bank and obtain money for her. The motivations behind the plot remain a subject of speculation, and the case has been the focus of documentaries and true crime discussions.
The pizza bomber case is a tragic and unusual event that highlights the complexities and dark motivations that can be involved in criminal activities.

Black Friday..
"Black Friday", the day after the American Thanksgiving holiday, is traditionally the busiest shopping day of the year in the US.
Wal-Mart, the adjacent Green Acres Mall, a realty company that manages the property and a security company hired to patrol the property were all named as defendants in the lawsuit.Wal-Mart is accused of engaging in "specific marketing and advertising techniques to specifically to attract a large crowd and create an environment of frenzy and mayhem and was otherwise careless, reckless and negligent" in the wrongful death lawsuit, which was filed in the US yesterday.
The retailer and its partners are also accused of failing to provide adequate security for a pre-dawn crowd estimated at 2,000 at the New York store where Jdimytai Damour, 34, was knocked over and crushed on that Friday.
Damour died of asphyxiation when the crowd broke down the electronic doors in frantic pursuit of bargains.
The retail company has issued a statement saying it would cooperate with local law enforcement officials to develop stronger safety measures for the future.
"We have been in communication with members of his family to do what we can to help them through this difficult time. Our associates know that when incidents like this occur, we take care of our own," Wal-Mart added.

He faked his own kidnapping on a gun point to party with friends..
A man faked his own kidnapping in front of his terrified wife so he could spend the night boozing with pals.
Rogelio Andaverde 'arranged' for two masked men to grab him from his home in Edinburg, Texas.
His horrified wife watched as he was dragged at gunpoint from the house and driven away. She called cops, who launched a hunt for the 34 year old.
Andaverde's wife spent more than five hours with police being interviewed as police searched for the kidnap victim. Her husband returned home the following day and said his kidnappers 'just let him go. Police became suspicious of his story and he later confessed he made up the story because he wanted a night out with friends without his wife. Two friends had posed as his abductors wearing masks to hide their faces and carrying guns.
Sheriff Trevino said People don't just barge into your house and kidnap you for the hell of it.'
He said Andaverde confessed that he wanted to go out "partying with friends" and came up with the plan.
He added: 'I don't think his wife appreciated being kept until 4 or 5 in the morning, being interviewed by the cops while her husband was out doing who knows what with who knows who.'
'He's going to have a lot of answering to do.'
Andaverde was booked into jail and charged with making a false report to police.
He was released after posting$5,000 bail.

Flight crash.
Flight 235 departed Taipei Songshan Airport at 10:52 Taiwan time, for its destination of Kinmen Airport, with 53 passengers and five crew members on board. Shortly after take-off, a fault in the autofeather unit of the number-2 engine caused the automatic take-off power control system to autofeather that engine. The flight crew misdiagnosed the problem, and shut down the still-functioning number-1 engine. The aircraft reached an altitude of 1,630 ft (500 m) and then began descending until it crashed. The last pilot communication to air traffic control was: "Mayday, mayday, engine flameout." At 10:55, the aircraft crashed into the Keelung River, on the border of Nangang District of Taipei and Xizhi District of New Taipei.
The crash was recorded by dashcams in several cars travelling west along the elevated Huandong Viaduct next to the river. The aircraft, flying level, first cleared an apartment building. Then it rolled sharply, at nearly a 90° bank angle, left wing down. As the aircraft flew low over the elevated viaduct, its left wingtip struck the front of a Volkswagen Caddy taxi travelling west on the viaduct, and the outboard section of the wing was torn off when it struck the concrete guardrail at the edge of the viaduct. The aircraft continued its roll and struck the water upside down, breaking into two main pieces. The collision with the taxi and the viaduct was captured in footage from a dashcam in a car travelling a short distance behind the taxi, and debris from the plane's wing and pieces of the viaduct's guardrail were thrown across the road surface. Two people in the taxi suffered minor injuries.

Knife removed from his skull..
Michael Hill is notable for having survived being stabbed in the brain with a 20 cm (8 in) survival knife, on April 25, 1998.
While at a friend's residence in Jacksonville, Florida, Hill answered the door and an unknown person stabbed him in the skull. He then walked down the street to another friend's house. Four hours later the knife was removed. Hill survived without even an infection and within seven days regained consciousness and all functions, although the knife had caused permanent damage to his memory and paralyzed his left hand. He now has occasional headaches and needs medication to prevent seizures.
The knife was the largest object ever removed from a human skull. It had plunged very deep into his skull, near the brain stem.
Hill later said: “I didn’t feel the pain initially and it was only when I was at the hospital that it hit me and I felt like my eyes were bulging out. I know people in worse shape than me now and so I consider myself lucky.”

Heroic Dad.. .
A heroic father who leaped off a 13-foot balcony to save his son’s life was left fighting for his life in the hospital after cracking his skull open on the concrete below.
Doctors couldn’t believe Brad Lewis, 42, survived the fall when he arrived at intensive care.
The father of two was at a friend’s house in Sydney, Australia on Saturday, August 4 when his 8-year-old son Oscar shot a few Nerf gun bullets at him.
When the bullets missed and went over the first-floor balcony, Oscar ran to see where they went and lost his balance, according to a GoFundMe page set up to support the family.
Brad saw what was happening and lunged to grab his son, but his speed and weight carried the two of them over the balcony, tumbling towards the concrete below.During the fall, the brave father — a former army officer and deep-sea diver — pinned Oscar to his chest and curled around him, taking the full force of the impact on his head.
“Are the kids OK? Don’t let them see me like this, don’t let me die mate,” Brad told his friend Beau as he drifted in and out of consciousness after the fall.
Oscar was concussed, fractured his skull and suffered bruising on the brain.

Human Zoo..
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the Western world was desperate to see the “savage,” “primitive” people described by explorers and adventurers scouting out new lands for colonial exploitation. To feed the frenzy, thousands of indigenous individuals from Africa, Asia, and the Americas were brought to the United States and Europe, often under dubious circumstances, to be put on display in a quasi-captive life in “human zoos.”
Human zoos could be found in Paris, Hamburg, Antwerp, Barcelona, London, Milan, and New York City. Carl Hagenbeck, a merchant in wild animals and future entrepreneur of many zoos in Europe, decided in 1874 to exhibit Samoan and Sami people as “purely natural” populations.
In 1876, he sent a collaborator to the Egyptian Sudan to bring back some wild beasts and Nubians. The Nubian exhibit was very successful in Europe and toured Paris, London, and Berlin.
At the human zoos of the early 20th century, the indigenous people on display faced a number of challenges. African tribal members were required to wear traditional clothing intended for the equatorial heat, even in freezing December temperatures, and Filipino villagers were made to perform a seasonal dog-eating ritual over and over to shock the audience. A lack of drinking water and appalling sanitary conditions led to rampant dysentery and other illnesses.
In most cases, there were no bars to keep those in human zoos from escaping, but the vast majority, especially those brought from foreign continents, had nowhere else to go.

acid in pool..
On June 18, 1964. James Brock, the manager of the Monson Motor Lodge in St. Augustine, Florida, was photographed by Horace Cort pouring muriatic acid into the pool to get a group of White and Black integrationists in swimming pool out.
The St. Augustine Movement, named for the town in Florida where it took place, were peaceful protests and demonstrations which were responded to with violence, which lead to more and more complicated protests.
On June 11, 1964, Martin Luther King, Jr was arrested for trespassing at the Monson Motor Lodge after being asked to leave from its segregated restaurant. This (and other things) helped spur on a group of protesters, Black and White, to jump into the pool as a strategically planned event to end segregation at motel pools. The pool at this motel was designated “White only”. Whites who paid for motel rooms invited Blacks to join them in the motel pool as their guests.
This swim-in was planned by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and two associates. The motel manager, Jimmy Brock, in an effort to break up the party, poured a bottle of muriatic acid into the pool, hoping the swimmers would become scared and leave. One swimmer, who knew that the ratio of acid to pool water was so great that the acid was no longer a threat, drank some of the pool water to calm the other swimmers’ fears.
Muriatic acid is undiluted hydrochloric acid and is used in the cleaning of masonry surfaces such as pools. But what people heard was the word “acid”. It did not scare the swimmers, though it seems like it was effective in making the protesters at least nervous — the amount of acid to the amount of water being so small it was mostly safe—and so a cop jumped in to arrest people.

Shark's Belly
In April of 1935, two Australian fishermen donated a 10-foot tiger shark, caught off the coast of Sydney to the Coogee Beach Aquarium.
Coughing Up The Evidence After showing signs of increasing distress, on April 25 it vomited up its stomach contents which included a well-preserved human arm. Experts were left to wonder: had this been a case of a shark attack on an innocent swimmer, or was this part of a dismembered body of crime victim?Unarmed Tattoo The limb was well muscled and remarkably well preserved. The skin bore a tattoo of two boxers confronting each other. A rope was tied around the wrist, and…The Doctor’s Report There were clear signs that the arms had been hacked off its body by a knife, not a shark bite.
Identifying The Appendage The only realistic hope was to find a way of retrieving the fingerprints. This involved removing the fragile layers of skin in pieces for the tip of each finger in turn, and reassembling the fragments to produce a complete print. When complete, the prints were checked against criminal records and a match was found. The Armless Victim The prints, and the arm, belonged to a former boxer and small-time criminal named James Smith who had already been reported missing. The Story Smith had disappeared from home on April 8, telling his wife he was renting a cottage with a man named Patrick Brady (a known criminal) for the two men to do some fishing. A wide sea search failed to find any other parts of Smith’s body. The Suspect Being the last to see Smith alive, Brady was arrested on 16 May and charged with the murder of Smith. A taxi driver testified that he had driven Brady on the day Smith had gone missing, and that "he was dishevelled, he had a hand in a pocket and wouldn't take it out... it was clear that [he] was frightened.
A Possible Theory It is speculated that Smith was killed by Brady on the orders of gangland figure Eddie Weyman, who was arrested during a bank robbery apparently due to information Smith had given to the police.

Iran 1978..
The Cinema Rex, located in Abadan, Iran, was set ablaze on 19 August 1978, killing between 377 and 470 people. The event started when four Islamic militants doused the building with airplane fuel before setting it alight. The attack was responsible for triggering the 1979 Iranian Revolution which saw the overthrow of the Iranian monarchy. It was the largest terrorist attack in history until the 1990 massacre of Sri Lankan Police officers, which itself was later surpassed by the September 11 attacks.
The ruling Pahlavi dynasty initially blamed "Islamic Marxists" for the fire and later reported that Islamic militants started the fire, while anti-Pahlavi protesters falsely blamed SAVAK (Sazeman-e Ettelaat va Amniyat-e Keshvar), the Iranian secret police, for setting the fire. Even though Islamic militants were responsible for the attack, the Islamic opposition benefited greatly from the disaster in terms of propaganda because of the general atmosphere of mistrust and wrath. Many Iranians accepted the deception, which fueled growing anti-Shah fervor.
According to Roy Mottahedeh, author of The Mantle of the Prophet, "thousands of Iranians who had felt neutral and had until now thought that the struggle was only between the shah and supporters of religiously conservative mullahs felt that the government might put their own lives on the block to save itself. Suddenly, for hundreds of thousands, the movement was their own business."

Hello Kitty crime..
The Hello Kitty murder case took place in Hong Kong in the spring of 1999, when a nightclub hostess was abducted in Lai Yiu Estate, where the victim was tortured and raped in an apartment in Tsim Sha Tsui after stealing a wallet owned by one of her frequent customers.
Fan Man-yee was held captive by three men and one girl before dying between April 14 to April 15, 1999.
Her body was decapitated and her skull placed inside of a Hello Kitty mermaid plush, which gave the name for the murder case.
On December 7, 2000, after a trial which started on October 20, three men were convicted of manslaughter, as the jury ruled the remains were not sufficient to show whether Fan was murdered or died from a drug overdose.
The trio were sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole.

Cannibalism to Survive..
The Uruguayan Flight 571, also known as the Andes flight disaster, was a tragic event involving a plane crash and a dramatic story of survival in the Andes Mountains. Here is a brief overview:
On October 13, 1972, a Uruguayan Air Force Fairchild FH-227D aircraft, carrying 45 people, including members of a Uruguayan rugby team and their friends and family, crashed in the Andes Mountains in Argentina. The crash was caused by poor weather conditions and navigation errors.
After the crash, the survivors faced extreme challenges. They were ill-prepared for the harsh conditions of the mountains, which included freezing temperatures, high altitudes, and limited food supplies. The search and rescue efforts were hampered by the remote location and poor weather.
To survive, the passengers had to resort to drastic measures. They used the wreckage of the plane for shelter and as a source of insulation, and they melted snow for drinking water. However, the most harrowing decision they faced was resorting to cannibalism. After more than two months in the mountains, with little hope of rescue, some of the survivors made the difficult decision to consume the bodies of the deceased to stay alive.
Finally, after 72 days in the mountains, two of the passengers embarked on a perilous trek to find help. They encountered a Chilean shepherd, who alerted authorities, leading to the rescue of the remaining survivors.
The Uruguayan Flight 571 story was later recounted in the book "Alive" by Piers Paul Read and in a 1993 film adaptation. The story is often cited as a testament to the strength of the human will to survive in the face of unimaginable adversity.

The Killer Nurse
Richard Angelo is a former nurse who gained notoriety for being a convicted serial killer. He was born on August 29, 1962, in New York. Angelo worked as a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York, during the late 1980s.
Angelo's crimes came to light when it was discovered that he had been intentionally poisoning patients at the hospital with lethal doses of medications. He was responsible for the deaths of at least eight patients and the severe injury of several others. Angelo administered drugs such as Pavulon and Anectine, which can cause paralysis and death if not used properly. He would then rush to the patients' aid, appearing as a heroic figure in the eyes of his colleagues.
Angelo's actions raised suspicions among hospital staff, particularly when a higher-than-average number of patients began to die under his care. Eventually, an investigation was launched, and he was arrested in 1987.
In 1988, Richard Angelo was convicted of second-degree murder and other charges related to the deaths and poisonings. He received a sentence of 61 years to life in prison. His case drew significant media attention and raised concerns about the potential for healthcare workers to harm patients. Angelo's actions are a chilling example of healthcare-related serial killings and the breach of trust that can occur in such settings.

Japan Suicide point..
On February 12, 1933, a 19-year-old Japanese school girl named Kiyoko Matsumoto committed suicide by jumping into the active volcanic crater of Mount Mihara, on the island of Izu Ōshima.
Kiyoko had developed an infatuation with one of her fellow students named Masako Tomita. Since lesbian relationships were considered taboo in Japanese culture at the time, Kiyoko and Masako decided to travel the volcano so that Kiyoko could end her life there in the lava pit’s hellish temperature of 1200 °C, what she really did.
After Kiyoko’s tragic death, this act started a bizarre trend among the Japanese, and in the following year, 944 people including 804 men and 140 women leap into the deadly volcanic crater of Mount Mihara to meet their horrible death.
From a vantage point near the top of the cone it was once possible to leap into the crater. As a result, the volcano became a popular venue for suicides. Beginning in the 1920s, several suicides occurred in the volcano every week. The most notable death by suicide is Kiyoko Matsumoto who tossed herself into Mihara's fiery pit due to her homosexuality, then considered taboo at the time. Matsumoto, a young student who was in a relationship with fellow student Masako Tomita, traveled to the rim of the volcano where both intended to take their lives, with only Matsumoto herself doing so. After the incident, the suicide toll skyrocketed to 945 that year alone. Authorities eventually erected a fence around the base of the structure to curb the number of suicides.

People eater..
Dorángel Vargas was born in 1957 to poor farmers. His priors included three arrests, two of them for minor offenses (theft of chickens and cattle). The third was acquired in 1995 when he was admitted to the Institute of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Peribeca for the murder of Baltazar Cruz Moreno, and the subsequent cannibalism of his body. He was released from the center because he made a normal impression, he then led a seemingly normal life in poverty.
It is believed that he was actively murdering men between November 1998 and January 1999. Vargas hunted victims with a tube-shaped spear and occasionally with rocks. He kept the parts that he could cook and usually buried the feet, hands and heads. It seemed that his primary targets were unsuspecting athletes and laborers working on the riverbank. He did not eat women or children, and when asked why, he explained that he felt that they were too "pure" to consume.Since he had no place to store the human flesh, most of it would decompose quickly, which made him kill routinely.

son's revenge..
An Indian man who witnessed his father's murder as a child has confessed to killing the man responsible in a revenge attack he planned for 12 years.
Alam Khan was just 12 when he saw his father being murdered by Mohammad Rais, a family friend, in the state of Uttar Pradesh in 2003.
Khan, now 24, has confessed to stabbing Rais to death, before chopping his body into 12 pieces, one for every year since his father was murdered. Khan said he had secretly planned his revenge ever since his father's murder, and finally seized his chance last week when he invited Rais over for a drink. After getting Rais drunk at his home, Khan knifed him to death before using a hammer and hacksaw to dismember the body, he told reporters on Monday after his arrest.
'I played some music at full volume and cut his body into 12 pieces,' Khan was quoted as saying by the Times of India.

Cat Spy ... Acoustic kitty..
Acoustic Kitty was a (CIA) project launched by their Directorate of Science & Technology in the 1960s, which intended to use cats to spy on the Kremlin and Soviet embassies.
In an hour-long procedure, a veterinary surgeon implanted a microphone in the cat's ear canal, a small radio transmitter at the base of its skull, and a thin wire into its fur. This would allow the cat to innocuously record and transmit sound from its surroundings. Due to problems with distraction, the cat's sense of hunger had to be addressed in another operation. Victor Marchetti, a former CIA officer, said Project Acoustic Kitty cost about $20 million.
The first Acoustic Kitty mission was to eavesdrop on two men in a park outside the Soviet embassy in Washington, D.C. The cat was released nearby, but was hit and allegedly killed by a taxi almost immediately. However, this was disputed in 2013 by Robert Wallace, a former director of the Office of Technical Service, who said that the project was abandoned due to the difficulty of training the cat to behave as required, and "the equipment was taken out of the cat; the cat was re-sewn for a second time, and lived a long and happy life afterwards".Subsequent tests also failed. Shortly thereafter the project was considered a failure and declared to be a total loss. However, other accounts report more success for the project.
The project was cancelled in 1967.A closing memorandum said that the CIA researchers believed that they could train cats to move short distances, but that "the environmental and security factors in using this technique in a real foreign situation force us to conclude that for our (intelligence) purposes, it would not be practical."The project was disclosed in 2001, when some CIA documents were declassified.

Bat Bombs and WWII
The "bat bomb" was a World War II experimental weapon developed by the United States during the early 1940s. The idea behind the bat bomb was to use bats as a means of delivering incendiary bombs to Japanese cities. The project was known as "Project X-Ray" or "Project X-Ray Bat."
The concept was to attach small incendiary devices to bats and release them from a bomber aircraft. The bats would then disperse and roost in various buildings across the target city. After a predetermined time delay, the incendiary devices would ignite, causing fires to break out in multiple locations simultaneously.
The idea behind the bat bomb was that it would create chaos and widespread fires in Japanese cities, as many of the buildings were made of wood and paper. However, the project faced numerous challenges and setbacks. For example, the bats' hibernation patterns caused delays in the testing process, and the project's complexity made it difficult to implement effectively.
Eventually, the project was canceled in 1944 in favor of other bombing strategies. The development of the atomic bomb and the subsequent bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki brought World War II to a close before the bat bomb could be fully deployed in combat.
The bat bomb remains an intriguing and somewhat unusual footnote in the history of military technology and unconventional warfare experiments during World War II.

Eagle carrying child..
It was the afternoon of June 5, 1932 and something bizarre was about to happen to 4-year-old Svanhild Hansen.
She was playing happily on her parents' farm in Leka, Norway, and her parents had only taken their eyes off her for ten minutes when she suddenly went missing.
A huge eagle had grabbed her and carried her for more than a mile before dropping her. Her parents started a panicked search effort which eventually included over 200 people from the local area. At first all they found were discarded items of the girl's clothing - one of her shoes and her handkerchief.
A man named Jentoft Svendsen ended up being in the right place at the right time and watched the eagle drop Svanhild onto a ledge on a mountain. She was fast asleep when he reached her and was unharmed apart from a few small scratches. She was awakened and carried back down from the mountain.
Svanhild was taken to a doctor to be checked on who also weighed her and found that she was approximately 19kg. Ornithologists have disputed this number, seeing as it is supposed to be impossible for a sea eagle to carry this much weight. Some sources have since claimed that the 19kg was inaccurate and that Svanhild was likely just 10-12kg when she was taken - but this is of course still way over the 2-3kg that an adult sea eagle is supposed to be able to carry. Despite this, a zoologist by the name of Hartvig Huitfeldt-Kaas spent a month studying the story before declaring it to be completely reliable.
Although Svanhild had initially told the story about the eagle, her memory of the event seemed to fade over time to the point that she would eventually claim that she had no memory of what had happened to her at all by the time she was 30 years old. Svanhild Hansen died on November 12th of 2010 at the age of 81.

The Town That Never Stops Burning...
Centralia is a borough and near-ghost town in Columbia County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Its population has declined from 1,000 in 1980 to five residents in 2020 because a coal mine fire has been burning beneath the borough since 1962. Centralia, part of the Bloomsburg–Berwick metropolitan area, is the least-populated municipality in Pennsylvania. It is completely surrounded by Conyngham Township.
All real estate in the borough was claimed under eminent domain in 1992 and condemned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Centralia's ZIP Code was discontinued by the Postal Service in 2002. State and local officials reached an agreement with the then seven remaining residents on October 29, 2013, allowing them to remain in Centralia until their deaths, after which the rights to their houses will be taken through eminent domain. As of 2021, Only 4 residents remain.

Heart Attack Gun..
The heart attack gun is one of the most chilling gadgets in the history of the CIA.
It was a secret weapon that could kill a person by causing a heart attack without leaving any traces.
It fires a dart made of frozen shellfish toxin that could penetrate clothing and skin. The dart would strike the target to release the shellfish toxin and cause a heart attack in minutes, while the toxin would denature quickly and leave no evidence.
It had an effective range of 100 meters and was virtually noiseless when fired.
The heart attack gun was revealed in 1975 at a hearing of a committee led by Senator Frank Church, who showed off the gun to the public.
