In the tradition of Adi Shankaracharya it is said that the means to profoundly understand your True Nature or Self as Brahman, Awareness, Consciousness is revealed through the Teachings of Advaita Vedanta, the Guru Parampara and the Guru. Through this methodology, you will be able to recognize and be convinced permanently of That which Is You. In Sanskrit, the syllable gu means darkness and the syllable ru means remover, thus the term Guru literally means the one who removes darkness. Superficial intellectual understanding like gathering information, has no power to remove the darkness of ignorance on its own. In fact, if you have just a superficial intellectual understanding alone, this may even increase your pride. It is only by relying on a qualified Guru who is part of a holy tradition and whose methods have been proven to work again and again, that you can profoundly understand your True Nature or Self as Brahman, Awareness, Consciousness. In our tradition, the methodology employed by the Guru is Sravanam, Mananam and Nidhi Dhyasanam. Sravanam means to listen to the teachings; Mananam to contemplate deeply the meaning of the teachings and to remove any doubts through dialogue with the Guru and Nidhi Dhyasanam means to meditate deeply on the meaning of the instructions, such as the Mahavakyams [Great Statements of Truth], having first removed all doubts. Through the grace of the Guru, the blessings of the holy lineage and Sravanam, Mananam and Nidhi Dhyasanam, we give ourselves the greatest opportunity to profoundly understand – on a permanent basis - our True Self as Awareness, Consciousness, Brahman. www.advaitaashrameurope.com

Our doctrines are summarized by the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms. COVENANTAL We hold a Covenantal perspective of scripture. This perspective determines how we read and hear God’s Word. We are not distant from it but we are made participants in the drama of the Bible. We started as a small home group in 2014 and came under the supervision of the OPC in 2016 and particularized into our own church in June 2021. When looking at the world in its current state I see that democracies of the west all have the Judeo-Christian principles as their basic building blocks, and I believe that these principles must be nurtured and cherished if we want to continue to live in free and democratic societies. We must uphold the principles of mercy, forgiveness, justice, Free will, and human rights if we want to have our democratic system of governance continued into the future. At the core of our beliefs is our universal declaration in every human being right to the expression of his or her free will. I believe that any threat to this fundamental right is dangerous to the overall wellbeing of our pluralistic and free spirited society. I also believe that Free Will is sanctified by the I Am Himself and that humanity is also sanctified by that part of the Trinity which became human in the form of Jesus of Nazareth. Failure to comprehend this profound truth could lead to the destruction of democracies on a global scale and the rise of totalitarian regimes.

Renewed Covenant Fellowship is a Sabbath keeping, Torah Observant community of believers in YahShua Messiah located in Salisbury, NC. We believe the whole Bible is TRUE and relevant for our world today. We seek to follow the commands of Yahweh not for salvation, but because of salvation. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in YahShua Messiah (Jesus Christ). It is out of love for our Saviour that we follow His commands. John 14:15 - "If you love me, keep my commandments. We are not affiliated with any group, church or religious denomination. We are currently meeting at the Spencer Women's Club, Spencer NC.
