We are the Hershberger sisters, Martha and Dorothy. We grew up in an Amish/Mennonite home and learned the Mennonite way of cooking by spending time in the kitchen with our mom - many treasured memories. We are Mennonites but more importantly we are Christians. We are both single and are privileged to be full time caregivers for our special needs brother, Marvin (Buddy), who is also Martha's twin. Buddy has been brain damaged since birth. He is basically non-verbal and also has dealt with epilepsy since he was 16 years old. Buddy was very active and social in his earlier years, but life has taken a toll on him and he is now homebound. We enjoy sharing bits and pieces of our life in the country. We enjoy our Labrador Retrievers, cooking and gardening. We conclude each video with a "Golden Thought" which we hope will be an encouragement to our viewers.
