Sean's Irish Whisky Shelf

Do you like Irish whisky? I do. I'm on a mission to collect and sample as many different types of Irish whisky that I can find. (Without getting in trouble with my wife!) For me, a perfect evening is three fingers of Irish whisky in a glass with an ice ball paired with a fine cigar. I'm going to post videos comparing different Irish whiskies, blind taste tests, reviewing new additions to the collection, and overall, sharing my love of Irish whisky. What you won't get here are the fine "subtleties" of tasting notes. No honey, vanilla, bread, etc... That's not me, and honestly, my palate isn't that good. I simply know what I like and I'm here to share that with you.

Top Shelf Theology

In the 4th century, St. Jerome saw fit to translate the bible from the traditional Greek and Hebrew, to the language of the common folk of the Roman Empire: Latin. Then, in their own words, the commoners - "the vulgar" - could understand the Word of God, and thus was born, the Vulgate bible. In the 21st century, some fat dad named Alan decided to bring the Word of God to the common people of the day, put it into their vulgar language, and talk about it over drinks. He brings you: Theology from the Top Shelf. The good stuff! Straight and neat. Or on the rocks, depending.
