Welcome new subscribers!!! We are a Northern Iowa, ex-Mennonite Family, living on 21 acres. We started this channel as a way to preserve the homesteading way of life for future generations. A place for our children to find the information they need should the need or choose the homesteading lifestyle! Most of what we know about homesteading has been learned from farming and gardening with our Mennonite parents and grandparents from as early as we can remember.

Ever thought of living or retiring overseas? Looking for a place where your dollars go further? Has the Caribbean climate along with its many cultures ever perked your curiosity? What about back in your home nation. Noticing any negative changes or a loss of privacy? Is violence on the uptick? Has that how it used to be feeling all but vanished? If the answer to any of the above is yes, you just may have tuned into the right channel. Our passion is to provide an in depth view of the Dominican Republic while paying particular attention to the region we reside in. The region surrounding a quaint little town called Cabrera. Something Feels Wrong is a channel where curiosity rules.

Welcome, my channel has many videos of projects I've done in the past and many recent ones. I hope you can learn from these videos, as I'm learning too. In 2015 my wife and I decided to "get out of the city" and leave the rat race, congestion and chaos behind. We moved from Houston to the country in east Texas to be able to grow our own food and be more self sustainable. Join us in this country homesteading journey to a peaceful and more natural way of life.
