B. K. Sorensen is an aspiring pianist and composer, graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in piano performance at GCU. As a young boy he was enchanted with the instrument and the way it creates music. Brenden was largely self-taught until he entered Grand Canyon University. Having the ability to compose and improvise piano pieces helps him communicate his emotions and thoughts. Further, music is his way of worshiping God for his gift to us of the ability to create beautiful music. He composed a variety of piano pieces including a series of ragtime pieces, worship pieces, and numerous solo piano pieces. Brenden often improvises pieces with his seeing eye dog, Diesel, at his side.
