According to the Federal Trade Commission, more than one in four people who reported losing money to fraud in 2021 said it started on social media with an ad, a post, or a message. In fact, the data suggest that social media was far more profitable to scammers in 2021 than any other method of reaching people. More than 95,000 people reported about $770 million in losses to fraud initiated on social media platforms in 2021. Those losses account for about 25% of all reported losses to fraud in 2021 and represent a stunning eighteenfold increase over 2017 reported losses 1.

We believe that the Bible, God‘s Word, is Divinely inspired. It is true, without error, and serves as the only authority of God‘s Word to mankind, (2 Timothy 3:16 - 17, 2 Peter 1: 20 - 21). Therefore, at CCLC, we teach God‘s Word, book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse verse, from the books of Genesis to Revelation (1 Timothy 4:13, Acts 20:27, Romans 10: 17). We believe in the corporate worship of God in songs of praise to glorify His Name, and to prepare our hearts to receive the teaching of His Word (Ephesians 5:19–20, Acts 16:25, 2 Kings 3:15). We believe in the saving, leading, teaching, and equipping power of the Holy Spirit (John 3:3–8, John 16:13–15, Acts 1:8).
