God as a Bowl of Water

Maybe we can think of God as not a being in any particular place expressing itself in any specific way; a man in the sky with a long white beard. But as an infinite consciousness that is not in one particular place expressing itself as on particular being. But as all things being a part of the total body of God; that means you, that means me. Everything. So to grasp the concept, let us thing of God as the water in a bowl. The water is the whole of everything that was, is and ever will be. It is the whole of everything right there in the and of the water. You can not really ever be separate from the water, where would you be and who would you be? Only in your own individual mind could you be separate from the whole.
