The “Adventures of William Bruce,” audiobook series chronicles the adventures and misadventure of my seventh-great-grandfather's life during the colonial era of the early 1700s. From his early life in Ireland, across the Atlantic and into the frontier. Blazing trails where there were no roads, hunting, fishing and farming to survive, and building a homestead from the bounty of God's offerings. In a place where history and imagination come together, Book One: Life and Times of an American Immigrant, takes you on a journey through time. To a special place, where you will experience the world through the eyes and ears of those who came before us, their joys and heartaches, love and despair, their difficult challenges, unexpected outcomes, victories and defeats. Through William and the people in his circle, you will experience how very different, yet similar, life was for those living in the British Colonies of North America. And if William and I are doing it right, you will laugh, and you will cry... and maybe, just maybe, fall in love with one of the many characters. When asked about the "Adventures of William Bruce," I describe it as a dash of Little House on the Prairie, a hint of Daniel Boone, a splash of Last of the Mohicans, a shot of The Patriot and a shaker of Outlander. Daniel Glen Timms is an American singer-songwriter and musician who was raised in Louisiana, then lived in California for many years, before finally settling in the Nashville area for the last several years, where he has continued to write, produce and release original music. He produces his own records and directs his own music videos, as well. DGT is also currently in post production for his feature length film titled "Cumberland" that will be released later in 2025. He wrote, acted and directed the romance, drama and suspense film, that will also be immersed in original music, and was filmed entirely in the middle Tennessee area.
