I started making quilts in the mid 1980s. Later, when I began teaching, there was no longer any time for this rewarding hobby. Now that I am retired, I'm back at my sewing machine. Actually, I have accumulated more than my original Montgomery Ward UHTJ1964 power tool (sewing machine). I currently have a Singer 66, a Sears Kenmore 1251 (gift from my mother-in-law), Sears Kenmore 385 (gift from my sister), a Brother CS6000i and my newest addition ... a Baby Lock Jazz II. I must say, I love using the different machines for different purposes. Quilting is truly an adventure!
