If good energy, such as love or joy, is not produced at the necessary levels, destructive forces gain the upper hand as in "Sodom and Gomorrah," Abraham failed to find 10 people with immaculate hearts. When war breaks out, there is grief, fear and anger, which manifests itself in natural disasters. So, it's a cycle. We can choose to be on the winning side of this cycle.
