They’re youthful, naïve, and full of idealistic dreams and questionable decisions. Whether chasing fleeting romances, avoiding commitment, dodging responsibility in favor of escapism and fantasy, or stumbling through painful and sobering relationships, these two embody the eternal boy and girl (puer aeternus and puella aeterna archetypes).
