The purpose of this channel was to help with the temporary audio issues present in the previous recordings of the sermons and Sunday school lessons at Temple Baptist Church. This Church has done so much to bring my family closer to Jesus Christ. I can't thank them enough. I suppose I should also say, I don't live near Temple Baptist and, though I'd love to, don't go to this Church. I get these videos from Temple Baptist's website - http://www.thelionofjudah.org/ through a few different methods depending on if the individual video has been uploaded or the full stream. -update- though there are still some occasional audio glitches on the source videos, it looks like they have the low audio/single channel problem sorted out. I'm keeping this channel up because I've found I very much enjoy sharing it.

This is the original channel started as the musings of two retired journalists, Corrin Strong and Howard Appell, on the state of the world in Feb. 2022. Unfortunately, Howard had to step away due to health issues in July of 2022. In Feb 2024, Corrin created a separate channel for his less political Music Reactions, but kept some music reactions and other videos that dealt with political subjects here. In December 2024, he re-named the channel "The Clarion Call," to match his current Substack and other columns he has been writing for the past 3 years, This channel reviews music by such artists as Tom MacDonald, Hi-Rez, Sampson and others that has a more political content. It also contains videos that have either been banned on our YouTube channel, or the unedited versions of videos that we did not judge would pass YouTube censorship. A clarion is a shrill-sounding trumpet used as a signal in war, so a “clarion call” is a loud and clear summons or speech that stirs to action and warns folks of impending danger. We are in danger. There is a spiritual battle between good and evil that is ramping up, and the evil is bolder than we’ve ever seen it. The stakes are as high as they were in the days leading up to WWII. Evil and the spirit of Anti-Christ is in every institution. It’s time to choose sides and know what you are up against, how to fight against it and protect yourself. I want to help you by sharing my experience and what I’ve learned and am still learning. Topics I’ll be covering include spiritual warfare, how to recognize and fight demonic activity, dangers of the New Age, Cultural Marxism, and Post Modernism, and the ways Satan tempts all of us. I can talk about these topics because I was radically saved and delivered from decades in the New Age and worshiping other pagan religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, and Shamanism. None of these worship the one, true God of the Bible, and all of them leave you wanting more and still seeking. Through accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I am now protected from evil because Jesus is the only one who defeated the devil. In God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, we can find peace and true joy. I have personally witnessed the destruction of dabbling in the devil’s playground. It does not go well for anyone. It creates, chaos, division, and destruction.
