THE ENEMY WITHIN, a 3-episode true crime, psychological docu-thriller, dives into the mind of one of the most controversial CEO’s of all time. Patrick Byrne, the founder/CEO of Overstock.com, rose to the height of financial success and was once heralded as a Wall Street prophet and the “Bitcoin Messiah” by Wired Magazine. However, in 2019, Byrne seemingly slipped into madness— he quit his position as Overstock CEO and claimed he was a government asset, being used by the “deep state” in a game of domestic espionage. Spinning tales of trysts with an alleged Russian spy, FBI initiated bribes against presidential candidates, and failed attempts to alert the powers that be to the cancer metastasizing throughout the halls of American power-- Byrne eventually finds himself sneaking into the Oval Office during the last days of the Trump Presidency-- and unwittingly becomes embroiled in the darkest political day in recent American history—January 6, 2021. Kenshō (見性) is a beautiful Zen experience in Buddhism, although not well known. Its meaning is “seeing the nature,” seeing our true essence, seeing into our true nature, or our Buddha-Nature. It is a profound, Mystical Awakening, Transformative, Transcendental Experience, or Enlightenment. This great Clarity of Kenshō is best achieved with daily meditative practices. We also encourage our listeners to prepare the body, mind and spirit by participating in the practice of Yoga, even if you’re a beginner, and be mindful of consuming healthy food choices. Yoga, along with meditation, can provide us with a deeper practice of focused breathing, can improve our health and wellness, and balance or unblock our Chakras (energy centers). The church is a kindred body of the Spiritualist National Union in the United Kingdom. This Youtube channel will contain segments including the Philosophy of Spiritualism, Demonstrations of Mediumship, supporting our fourth principle, "The Continuous Existence of the Human Soul", and meditations. Reverend Janet Nohavec, a former Roman Catholic nun, is the founder and pastor of the Journey Within Church and School of Mediumship in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, USA.
