Welcome! My name is Teresa and I am a certified AMI primary guide through the Montessori Institute of San Diego. I have an undergraduate degree in early childhood education and a masters in education through Loyola University. I am also a trained Orton-Gillingham instructor through the Michigan Dyslexia Institute and Central Michigan University. My goal is to break free from the traditional public school view of education and support home school families and teachers who want to provide alternative educational experiences for their children and community. On this channel, I want to provide skills-based learning for parents, teachers and students so we can change how we approach the educational system. I believe in supporting and empowering parents so that they can educate their children at home as much as possible. This channel is dedicated to education without indoctrination.

In 2019 I became a licensed amateur radio operator - KD2REU. I started with an inexpensive HT on VHF. A few months after that, I upgraded my FCC license and began experimenting with HF. With this new hobby, I am learning the radio business from the ground up. Through my adventures, challenges, mishaps, and achievements, I want to share the knowledge I am gathering with other new hams who are starting the same journey. I also invite more experienced hams to this community so that we can help grow the hobby together! Without the experienced hams out there sharing their passion for this hobby it wouldn\'t have much of a future. We will visit destinations related to amateur radio, ham fests, museums, clubs, stations, ham shacks, conventions, gatherings, educational programs, and much, much more. Bergantín Beach has calm, clean waters and a beautiful view of the Isabel de Torres mountain, it is located right next to the famous tourist complex of Playa Dorada. To get there there are two ways entering from Montellano, or by Km 7 of the Luperón Highway, near Playa Dorada and you can transport yourself in your vehicle or you can do it by public transport and four tires, like two. Bergantín Beach is located in the wonderful Villa Montellano within the province of Puerto Plata, right next to Playa Dorada. At Bergantín beach you can enjoy a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
