I take this hobby very seriously and know that people have a lot of options now when it comes to movie criticism. I take pride in the videos I put out and even though I'm incredibly passionate about film, I also don't take it seriously. Alan Vinnicombe is "the" Armchair Detective. A True Crime enthusiast and YouTube Creator with a channel called "Armchair Detective, No Hiding Place". We have 61.4K subscribers on YouTube, a private Facebook group with over 7K members and a healthy Patreon channel of subs. The Armchair Detective YouTube channel gets well over 7 million watch-minutes a month and over 500,000 views. Alan was born in Devon, UK and recalls his early shock and fascination with cases like Fred & Rosemary West and the bigger American cases, like the Green River Killer, Ted Bundy and others held his endless curiosity. After a decade of carefully examining the Madeleine McCann mystery, Alan began investigating his findings on Facebook live, which led to the birth of his YouTube channel, "Armchair Detective, No Hiding Place". Alan also held a successful show at the Winter Gardens Theatre in Weston Super Mare, focusing on the McCann case, alongside a mate from Scotland Yard. It wasn't long before the case of Chris Watts in Colorado became prevalent and caught AD's attention in August of 2018. He felt compelled to ask questions and search for the answers. He painstakingly dissected every aspect of the Watts case. AD saw “the shadows� under the truck and premiered a video on YouTube in January 2019 that garnered international interest, with over 270,000 views.
