I will seek out and find a few key content creators that I find trustworthy and believe are telling me the truth, but these big outlets and corporatized review websites are not for me. In a little over a month, the Wii U eShop and the Nintendo 3DS eShop will effectively shut down. After that point, there will be no more purchases allowed on either store. I'm convinced that some of these terminally online people are insane. Also this game has the first Transgender Wizarding World character in it so by the same logic I've seen online, it appears that anyone who is boycotting this game doesn't like the LGBTQ? Obviously that isn't the case, but if we're throwing around ultimatums and name-calling, it can go both ways. People really need to settle down and just spend their own money however they legally want to do so. I've been noticing a lot of misplaced brand loyalty lately and the idea that companies are our friends and we need to be super thankful for the things they do. I completely disagree with this notion and I truly believe it's used by massive corporations to control people and sway public opinion. Obviously, there are creative individuals within every company who deserve a ton of respect and really do want to create art and make good things for people. That said, at the top of these companies, most of the executives themselves are only interested in one thing - money. They don't care what you or I think and they double or triple down on mistakes because it's easier than admitting they were wrong.
