This instrument project was the door that opened my desire to become a luthier. I am a retired mechanical designer and have done numerous woodworking projects. My sister asked me to consider making a hurdy gurdy for my niece. After extensive research on available plans, I decided to give it a try. It was a successful and enjoyable project. I decided then to begin building my own name brand of violins. The subsequent videos is the beginning journey that I wanted to share.

I reverse-Engineered an old Eight-Sided Birdhouse and built a new one. Turned out pretty nice.
