Persona 3 Reload, Part 43: It's Not The End Of The World, But You Can See It From Here
TTZ85PlaysOh boy we're here, aren't we? The coffin wakes up, the girls realize there are cameras in the dorms and maybe Yukari should have said something *months* ago, and we wrap up the Emperor and the Aeon with what time we have left--turns out RNJesus is Google, and much like the real Google, it hates humans. Aigis shows us her room, but tells us not to worry, the loaded cartridges in her room are blanks, so when she's practicing firing her guns in urban Japan, there's no bullets, just a lot of gunfire noise... NBD? If you're young or a parent and are reading this: this is a dark game. It is rated M for mature because it does exceed T in some things. There is no sex (though there is the occasional suggestiveness you'd expect from pubescents), there is death but it's mostly unrealistic (fantasy monsters) and not shown (happens just off screen), the summoning comes off as dark, but quickly fades into the background. Some blood and mature language is found here. I feel any normal high schooler since at least the 1980s has been exposed to this content in their daily lives besides magical fantasy violence. This is not for 8 year olds; 12 year olds probably can handle it depending on maturity, 15 year olds almost certainly can. Persona 3 Reload, Part 42: Reaped And Sowed, Not Necessarily In Related Fashion
TTZ85PlaysA long episode; in part because I started with 45 minutes of Tartarus and shopping, and in part because I wanted to finish the brocial links. I met The Reaper and bequeathed upon him one nuke that wasn't even necessary by the time I pushed the butan. I get misty-eyed at Koromaru telling the priest he has a home again. Immediately after, Clown Jesus tries to do the exact same thing expecting different results. We start the Aeon, work on the Priestess, and finish the Lovers and the brocial links. Persona 3 Reload, Part 41: Another Brief Night In Hell
TTZ85PlaysOn the grind, departing from the Harambe block to the Abba block so we can feel even cooler with every boss beaten. Rather skippable episode. Persona 3 Reload, Part 40: The Second-Easiest Hard Choice...
TTZ85Plays...Only because the easiest one is in P5R. Death says he's going to eat my ass, so I tell him to eat my ass, and we go to the New Year's festival at the shrine. A bit of faffing about around that, as all my remaining social links are in school and school's out. Persona 3 Reload, Part 39: The Final-ish Countdown
TTZ85PlaysA night mostly of time in Tartarus. After about 45 minutes this is fairly skippable, but before has important points: we beat Ken's face in for the betterment of his morale, Junpei finally finds his spine, and Aigis finds out the true meaning of Christmas, or something. Tomorrow, some very important decisions need to be made. Persona 3 Reload, Part 38: Why Do You Fight?
TTZ85PlaysA day of social links and plot. The Empress stands tall, RNJesus remains ruthless, and Akihiko finally gives u what we've wanted the whole time. Tanaka sends me supplies for my exams... after they are over, but the exams go well anyways. After that, it seems that everyone besides Junpei has a spine. I spend Christmas Eve/Christmas alone, like the loser I am per RNJesus, and I come to the realization that I think I'm going to fall short on getting all of the social links (I'll be close, but I think if I entirely skip one from here, I can get the rest, sorry). Persona 3 Reload, Part 37: Dancin' In The Moonlight, Errybody
TTZ85PlaysAfter grinding myself smooth and round in between the last episode and this one, we throw our hands up to RNJesus, who is a wrathful and unforgiving God. Speaking of Gods, Aigis decides to 1v1 one's strongest soldier, and we wrap up by being forced to grind the Empress for a week straight (actually good gameplay design, given the circumstances). Persona 3 Reload, Part 36: Caring About Junpei Via The Power Of Transference
TTZ85PlaysOn today's docket: Mitsuru being baffled about a ramen shop despite being a native of Japan, the true waifu makes us sad for a moment, Chidori makes us sad for a little bit longer, someone forgot that a revolver can fire again if he just pulls the trigger because he's an idiot, and Yukari's mom decides that she needs to stop riding the **** carousel after nine years, but only if Yukari's okay with it. Persona 3 Reload, Part 35: Wooing The True Waifu/Dodging My "Execution"
TTZ85PlaysWe're back on track--high-speed rail track, more specifically. But before the school trip, I need to: trip over some sushi, go to a shady gambling parlor in the middle of the day, and spend time with the true waifu: Elizabeth (I thought that sequence had to happen in December and at night, but I only got this far in P3P once or twice). (Sorry about the minute of dead silence halfway through.) We catch up on the full breadth of secret recordings up to this point, then go on the school trip. While out there, I bully the french a bit, Mitsuru ascends to godhood, Ryoji almost confesses his love to us, and Junpei tries to get us killed... thanks bruv.
