9/25/23 with Ken Paxton. Common Sense take Barnes thinks they made a good case and the court is dirty. Heath says it's not a realistic lawsuit because it's not based on Arizona law. His lawsuit against Judge Thompson representing Sonny Borrelli is what caused the AZ Supreme Court to remand this in the first place. That led to Trial II and this is number III, asking the court to make MC prove the sigs are good. Putting Trial II in context, Judge Thompson rewrote the Lake team's argument after the AZ SC kicked it back to him, to be that NOT ONE BALLOT SIGNATURE COMPARISON WAS MADE at any level, which Heath stresses is NOT the legal standard, but Kari's team went with that, maybe because an election contest is time sensitive and they had to try to win on Thompson's terms, and there was no time to let it play out in court. Heath and Donofrio seem to be making better legal arguments, to me, on Trial II than Olson/Blehm. On Trial III, Heath's reasoning (AZ leg gave MC total authority on signatures and envelopes) is not the court's as far as I can tell. The judges are corrupt. Jovan has a good point even if he's wrong about the machines which he is: they are a vector for cheating 100% even if it's all software being run on off-the-shelf hardware. But he's saying "machines" isn't an accurate description and it causes legal problems. I think this is a valid point. Further, by using "fraud" to describe it in court filings, this unnecessarily raises the level of proof needed because you now have to prove intent, and flinging the term around can open you up to defamation suits frivolous though they be. Maladministration OTOH doesn't require intent and is still sufficient to contest an election. Jovan looks through signatures here noting he was careful to include only the ones that were presented in court already. Interestingly, he says he traced the bad signatures to specific Maricopa County employees.

Pulitzer not even a lawyer picks apart Hannah's bogus ruling making some of the same observations as Donofrio. Lake/Blehm wanted to see the envelopes and were denied, and the judge appears to be a far-left activist. Look at his face, would you trust this man? Ruling full of hypocrisy and shows bias. Presiding Judge John Hannah denied all witnesses and exhibits submitted by the plaintiff and appeared to argue for the defense. Defendants based their case on the best interest of the state (or privacy of the public to not have voter's signatures made public) rather than disclosure of public records (for obvious reasons). Much of the hearing was spent listening to defendant's lay witnesses testify to their perceived threats from individuals that they did not agree with. No expert witnesses were called to support the defendant's claims. Defendants in this case had the burden of proof. The fact is, names and addresses are already a matter of public record and a signature (although in many cases already a matter of public record) is not needed to make a threat against an individual. Is the likeable, bumbling slowtalker just a role Blehm is playing? Isn't it odd the other Arizona lawyers were threatened out of joining the Kari Lake case, but not Blehm? It could be he's a good man just doing his best and the courts are rigged, but it seems like he's throwing the case sometimes. But you know the Judge will side with Maricopa no matter what Lake's lawyer says. The first thing I noticed about Blehm is he never drives the argument home, not even when he catches them in a lie. So it's not odd that AZ RINOS would let him join the case if they knew he'd lose it. He represented Doug Logan too, lost big. Why wouldn't he or Olson take what sounds like solid advice from Heath and Donofrio and go hard after the county NOT comparing sigs to the registration record? Why does he never mention that signatures WERE given to the AZ Senate, audited and released in public docs, JUST LAST ELECTION? Pulitzer says Blehm palled around with Bennett and Pullen during the CN audit. Did they screw Doug Logan together? Maybe not, but sometimes I wonder. For me Pulitzer is totally credible on these matters when he's not critiquing someone else's work that he never read. I don't think he's making it up that Blehm was spending time with the McCainites. It could be he had to do that to get their permission to lawyer for Kari, and Doug Logan would have lost no matter what. But does Blehm make it easy for judges to rig cases, and does he do it on purpose? Is it an act?
