GET TO KNOW: Ep. 3 - Surah Ali 'Imran - Nouman Ali Khan - Quran Weekly #Islam #Quran #Sunnah
Get to Know a Surah of the Quran is a new series of videos brother Nouman Ali Khan presented this year during the month of Ramadan.
The following is a summary of some of the most important topics brother Nouman mentioned in this third episode:
At the end of Surah Al-Baqarah, we asked Allah not to put a burden upon us that we can’t bear.
In Al-Imran, the idea of choice is taken further. On the one hand there is choice, but on the other hand there is a profound amount of hope that is being granted inside of this Surah.
– Early on in the Surah, Allah starts a long discourse with the People of the Book.
Some narrators explain that this is in the context of a group of Christians who came to meet with the Prophet, peace be upon him, and wanted to see what this claim is that this man is claiming to be a prophet. They want to know what was all this about.
These were people of religion, they stayed in the Prophet’s mosque and continued their ritual worship as Christians while they engaged in conversation with the Prophet, peace be upon him.
And so, that is one of the subject matters that you will find when People of the Book are being told this is the final testimony, this is the final revelation from Allah, you need to accept this because it confirms what you people have.
And so it takes them back to the story of Jesus, peace be upon him, and retells the story.
– He tells them the story of even Prophet Jacob (Yaqub), and how the Law was mixed with some of his own personal preferences, as mentioned in verse (3:93):
{All food was lawful to the Children of Israel except what Israel had made unlawful to himself before the Torah was revealed. Say, [O Muhammad], “So bring the Torah and recite it, if you should be truthful.} (3:93)
– In this Surah the word Islam is repeated several times, where Islam is the outward manifestation of the faith, whereas Iman is the inward manifestation of the faith, which is repeated several times in Surah Al-Baqarah. And that is one of the aspects of the complementary role the two surahs have.
Badr & Uhud
Muhammad A 21st Century Prophet (Special Folder)
Muhammad: A 21st Century Prophet? (Special Folder)
– The second theme in the Surah is that the clash is intensifying. Now that this Ummah is chosen as the Ummah that represents the truth of God to all of humanity, our clashes with disbelievers also intensify.
So the battle of Badr and the battle of Uhud are mentioned to explain to Muslims how they are supposed to deal with victory, and how they are supposed to deal with loss.
– Finally in this surah you will find a merger, a strange merger, as He told the believers:
{So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers.} (3:139)
On the other hand, there was this ideological conversation with the Jewish and the Christian communities, predominantly the Christian group which came and met with the Prophet, peace be upon him.
But by the end, the groups among these that are stubborn in their ways are merged together and are called “those who have disbelieved”.
In other words, the Qur’an in its depiction of those who have truly disbelieved is a depiction of people who after knowing the Truth inside and out reject it.
Allah does not want to make sweeping comments about all the People of the Book, so what does He do in this Surah? He says:
{And among the People of the Scripture is he who, if you entrust him with a great amount [of wealth], he will return it to you. And among them is he who, if you entrust him with a [single] silver coin, he will not return it to you…} (3:75)
Allah also gives good qualities for some of the People of the Book who pray, who have taqwa, who compete in doing good deeds:
{They are not [all] the same; among the People of the Scripture is a community standing [in obedience], reciting the verses of Allah during periods of the night and prostrating [in prayer]. They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and hasten to good deeds. And those are among the righteous. And whatever good they do – never will it be removed from them. And Allah is Knowing of the righteous.} (3:113-115)
– When you get to the end of this amazing Surah, which is the Surah to recite when Muslims are in tough times, especially the ayat of what happened in Uhud, we have one of the most spiritually profound prayers in the entire Qur’an.
This prayer actually becomes a twin to the prayer which is at the end of Surah Al-Baqarah, in verses 190 to 195.

You will be with those whom you love| Judgement Day| Ep -4
man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the Hour (i.e. Day of Judgment) saying, "When will the Hour be?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "What have you prepared for it?" The man said, "Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Apostle." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will be with those whom you love." We had never been so glad as we were on hearing that saying of the Prophet (i.e., "You will be with those whom you love.") Therefore, I love the Prophet, Abu Bakr and `Umar, and I hope that I will be with them because of my love for them though my deeds are not similar to theirs.

clothing of honour of humiliations - Judgment Day- EP: 3| #Islam #Quran #Hadith
In the hereafter, deeds take on many forms. We’ve already seen that they guard us in the grave, but they also clothe us on the Day of Judgment—and their quality and beauty will be in exact proportion to the quality of our actions. Deeds related to sadaqah and Qur’an will have particular virtue, adorning us with crowns and with the green robes of Paradise.

GET TO KNOW: Ep. 1 - Surah Al-Fatihah - Nouman Ali Khan - Quran Weekly #Islam #Quran #Sunnah
Do you want to understand Surah Al-Fatihah at a deeper level, as an amazing introduction to the Quran?
An appreciation of Surah Al-Fatihah is something that has to be refreshed and renewed constantly.
The essence of the whole Quran is Surah Al-Fatihah, as Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, taught.
And Al-Fatihah, every time you recite it in prayer, you pair it with some other part of the Quran. You can’t recite Surat Al-Baqarah for example, or any other part of the Quran, without reciting Surah Al-Fatihah first.
Al-Fatihah as an Introduction to the Quran
In the same way when you give a speech, you start with an introduction, then you move on to the main topic of the speech, Surah Al-Fatihah serves this same role.
It is as if Allah (SWT) wants us to know that whatever part of the Quran you read, the introduction to it is Al-Fatihah.
Al-Fatihah as a Lens to the Quran
Surah Al-Fatihah therefore should frame the way we think about any Surah of the Quran.
Don’t lose sight of the Fatihah, as it is like a lens that you put on, and then you see the rest of the Quran through that lens.
Al-Fatihah as a Healing
The Prophet, peace be upon him, acknowledged that reciting Al-Fatihah for someone could serve as a healing, as in the Hadith narrated by Abu Saeed Al-Khudri.
Al-Fatihah as a Prayer for Guidance
What we are mainly asking from Allah in Al-Fatihah is His guidance when we say:
“Guide us to the Straight Path” (1:6)
Knowledge and Action are Paired
The first half of Al-Fatihah is knowledge about Allah: that He is the Most Merciful, the Entirely Merciful, the Lord of the Worlds, the Sovereign of the Day of Judgement.
The second part of Al-Fatihah is about action and guidance to the Straight Path, and describes three types of people:
– Those who had the right knowledge and performed righteous action
– Those who had the right knowledge but did not perform righteous action
– Those who did not have the right knowledge and did not perform righteous action because of their lack of knowledge
The Balance Between Mercy & Justice
On the one hand, there are some who expect Allah (SWT) to be Merciful, and that’s covered in Al-Rahman, Al-Rahim.
But on the other hand, there are people who think that Allah will only be Just, like He will just punish.
What Al-Fatihah does is to keep the balance. It guides us to rely on Allah’s Mercy (Al-Rahman, Al-Rahim), but on the other hand it reminds us that we cannot only rely on His Mercy, as He is (Malik Youm Al-Din).
The Balance in Our Relation with Allah
“It is You we worship, and You we ask for help.”
So I declare I’m going to worship Him, that’s what I want to do for Him, but what is it He will do for me?
We seek His help.
So first you give what Allah wants, and then you will get what you want.
That’s the balance between what you want to give Allah, and what you would like to get for yourself.
So on every level, this Surah is balanced in pairs on top of pairs.

GET TO KNOW: Ep. 2 - Surah Al-Baqarah - Nouman Ali Khan - Quran Weekly #Islam #Quran #Sunnah
Holding on to Surah Al-Baqarah is blessing upon blessing.
Abandoning it is regret, as Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him said
The following is a summary of some of the most important topics brother Nouman mentioned in this second episode:
– It is the biggest Surah in the Quran (286 verses). You can divide the Surah into 9 logical parts.
– In Part 1, Allah (SWT) divides the audience of the Quran into three groups: the people who have faith and engage with the Quran, the people who absolutely reject it (i.e. disbelievers) and people who claim to have faith but they don’t really have faith (i.e. hypocrites)
Sequence of Stories
The Thematic Interpretation of Quran
The Thematic Interpretation of The Quran
– In Part 2, Allah (SWT) informs us that these three groups (believers, disbelievers and hypocrites) have always existed, since the time of Adam himself. So the next story is of Adam, peace be upon him, and how he ended up on earth.
– In Part 3, just as Adam was chosen for the responsibility of being God’s vicegerent on earth, as humanity spread out it was important not to have just one person to take over this responsibility, but an entire nation.
The Children of Israel were chosen to be a model nation under God’s guidance, so they can show how to follow divine guidance to all of humanity. That was their responsibility and there is a long discourse on how Allah gave them that responsibility, but they disappointed His expectations.
– In Part 4, Allah (SWT) takes a step back and talks about Prophet Abraham, peace be upon him.
What is interesting to note is that Allah tells us the story of Adam, whom He tested, but Adam failed the test, then was redeemed. Then he tells us the story of the Children of Israel who were also tested, but they also failed the test, and they have a chance to be redeemed.
God then mentions the story of Prophet Abraham, peace be upon him, who passed all the tests he went through, then finally the Ummah of believers and the tests they will go through:
“And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient” (2:155)
Then when God speaks about Prophet Abraham, he then talks about his son Ishmael in half the passage, then his grandson Jacob in the other half. Why was that important?
Because Allah is saying that both of these are legitimate lineages of Prophet Abraham, peace be upon him, and both of them were Muslims.
The New Nation
Muhammad (PBUH) - Prophet, Leader, Servant
Prophet Muhammad: Leader & Servant
– In Part 5, Prophet Abraham, peace be upon him, left a legacy behind, as he left God’s house, the Ka’bah, which he built. As he built that house he prayed for a prophet to come, and Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the answer to the prayer of your own father Abraham.
– Part 6 of this Surah is when Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, stopped praying towards Jerusalem, and changed his prayer direction towards the Qa’bah. The nation of believers are now a new nation, and they will be put to the test. “And thus we have made you a just community…” (2:143)
– What will they be tested with? The Surah continues in Part 7 with new laws for the new nation, including fasting, Hajj, zakah, inheritance, divorce, … and all kinds of laws in an incredible systematic order, which is the test of the new Ummah.
– Part 8 then describes greed and money matters in one of the longest parts of the Quran, like how should one make money and do business, and how one should spend money… So an exhaustive discourse on money matters, unlike any other Surah of the Quran.
– Then in Part 9 is a prayer where we are basically asking Allah not to put a burden on us, like that placed on the people before us, because they were not able to carry that burden, and to forgive us if we forget or make mistakes.

When the Trumpet Sounds | Judgment Day | Ep. 2- TRUEPATH
t is not known to man when the day of judgement will occur, however, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has told us the signs which will occur in preparation for this day. There are many minor and major signs which will indicate that the time is near. The most well-known of them will be the appearance of the Dajjal (False-Messiah) and the return of Prophet Isa (Jesus) (AS).
The day, which will last 50,000 years, is a day in which Muslims spend their whole lives preparing for. All of mankind will come bearing the book of what they did within their lives; all their sins and good deeds will be judged by the ultimate judge.
The day of resurrection is the final test all of creation will have to face before they reach their final destination for eternity, whether that be hell or heaven. In Islam, we believe that we will all be resurrected according to the way we lived and the way we died. Whether that be in good deeds or sins, Allah (SWT) will bring you back to that state.
We pray that Allah (SWT) makes our journey across the Sirat (bridge) to paradise easy and prevents us from falling into the fires of hell.

[EP26] Story Of Muhammad (ﷺ) - When The Prophet (ﷺ) Arrived In Madeenah - #SeerahSeries - Dr. YQ
The Prophet Muhammad (S) Enters Madina
The camel has, since olden times, proved to be a very useful animal for desert journeys. It has shown to be dependable and sturdy animal for desert transport. The reason is that it has been created with certain special features which are not to be found in any other animal. It can walk in the hot desert under scorching sun for days and days without feeling tired or thirsty and arrive at the intended destination with his rider - the traveller. Hence the Arabs have named this animal as the 'Ship of the Desert'.
It was this same animal which had fulfilled in excellent manner the task of conveying the Prophet of Islam from Mecca to Madina. It had also served well in the cause of Islam.
The Prophet, tired of the tortures by the disbelieving Quraish, decided to migrate from Mecca to Madina. He had hidden himself in the cave of Thaur to protect himself against the enemies who wanted to kill him.
Imam Ali (a) sent three camels with a guide to the cave. The Prophet, mounting one of the camels, left the cave in the dark of the night, destined for Madina. On the way, several miracles took place which showed that God's help was always there to protect the Prophet against the attacks of his enemies.
The distance between Mecca and Madina is about three hundred fifty kilometres. In those days, it used to take eleven days to travel between the two places. But in this instance, the camel carrying the Prophet took only eight days to reach Madina. The Prophet (S) travelled at night, resting during the day-time. He was doing so to protect himself against the desert heat as well as to keep from being seen by the enemies.
On the eighth day, the Prophet along with his companions reached a place known as Quba, just two kilometres outside Madina. There he rested for several days, awaiting Imam Ali (a) and family members. After their arrival they proceeded to enter the city. On seeing the date trees on the outskirts of the holy city, they felt happy and relieved to have finally come out safe from the tortures of their enemies.
The people of Madina keenly awaited his arrival. Suddenly someone from the top of a hill announced that the Prophet had arrived. On hearing this, the people became wild with extreme joy and recited “Allahu Akbar!”, “Allahu Akbar!” - “God is Great!”, “God is Great!”
The Prophet dismounted the camel just outside Madina and sat down under a date tree. People rushed forward to greet and welcome him to their city. He was loved by all and everyone was keen to salute him. After the traditional welcome ceremony, the Prophet mounted his came to enter the holy city. All around, there were expressions of great joy. The children got together and in loud voices chanted the following welcoming poem:
“Tala-Al Badru Alaina
Min Thanayatil Wadai
Wajaba-Shukru Alaina
Ma Da'allaha Da'i”
“The full moon is shining on us from the area of gardens. We must offer thanks (to Allah) so long as anyone prays before Allah.”
“Ayuhal Mab-Uthu Fiina
Je'ta Bil Amril Mutai
Je'ta Shar-Raftal Madina
Marhaban Ya Khaira Dai”
“O' the one sent to us, you have come with commands which we shall obey. You came and graced Madina, we salute and welcome you, 'O' the best caller (towards Allah). “
It was hardly three years since the people of Madina had embraced Islam and had started to worship Allah. The young boys in the city were given a job to eradicate the worship of idols. Wherever they saw an idol, they destroyed it and set fire to it.
One day, the youths came to know that Omar bin Janah, the chief of Bani Salma tribe, had still preserved his idol and worshipped it. In order to impress upon him the uselessness of worshipping idols made of wood, they removed it from his place and threw it down a pit. The chief, on tracing the idol to where it was lying, brought it back, washed it and kept it in its original place. But the next day again it was removed and thrown into the pit.
The chief was very much disturbed at this. For the last lime he brought home this idol and cleaned it. He then put his sword around its neck and said to the idol: “If henceforth anybody comes to you, promptly take action and kill him with the sword.”
On the next day, the idol was again missing. This time he found it tied to a dead body of a dog. There was no effect at all of the sword which he had tied around the neck of the idol. This incident made him lose faith in his man-made wooden idol. He abandoned the idol-worship altogether. On becoming a Muslim, he uttered a poem as under:
“Alas! O' my idol! If you were my god, you would not have reached this stage and I would not have seen you in the pit along with a dead dog. I have now put my faith in the Almighty Allah, from Whom come all blessings. It is He Who has freed me from darkness of ignorance.”
This is one of the examples of how the young Muslim volunteers of Madina helped the Prophet in putting an end to idol worship and spread the true message of Islam.
When the Prophet entered the city amid great rejoicing, every one wanted him to stay at his house. Particularly, the chiefs of all the tribes were keen to have the Prophet as their guest. Everyone insisted but the Prophet ordered: “Let the reins of the camel loose and I shall get down and stay where it stops by itself.”
The camel went ahead further and further till it stopped at a big open land. It was a place where people used to dry their dates and other farm produce. It knelt there and sat The Prophet dismounted and asked the people, whose land it was. They replied that it belonged to two small children by the name of SAHL and SUHAIL.
Nearby was the house of ABU AYYUB. ABU AYYUB'S mother came forward and took away the luggage of the Prophet to her house. People again persuaded him to put up in their house but the Prophet asked: “Where is my luggage?” The reply was that the mother of ABU AYYUB had taken them to her house. And the Prophet said: “One has to go to stay at a place where one's luggage and belonging go to.”
Some time later, the name of Yathrib was changed to 'Madina-tun-Nabi' i.e. 'the City of the Prophet.' He named the people of that city as ANSAR (helpers) and those who had migrated from Mecca as MUHAJIREEN (immigrants). All these people, i.e. the Ansar and the muhajireen got together and united in the common bond of brotherhood of Islam.

What Happens to You After You Die? | Judgment Day | Ep. 1 | TRUEPATH
Death is often a frightening thought, but one that we should not be scared of. When you truly understand death you will no longer have to be scared of it.
When we are able to understand that Allah (SWT) made this Dunya (Arabic for the temporal world) a test for the believers and that this is not our real home; you will truly be able to find peace within your heart. You think that death is scary, but this Dunya is scarier. The reality of this Dunya is that we often excuse our poor behaviour of the neglection of Allah (SWT) due to our worldly responsibilities.
You may be thinking well what will happen after death in Islam [link here]. In Islamic tradition, the following is what occurs after an individual passes away. The occurrence is not always as you may expect, and it can strike you at any time whether you like it or not. Allah (SWT) sends his angel Azreal, known as the angel of death, to retrieve the soul from the human. After Allah (SWT) has instructed Azreal (AS) to take your soul, you are then declared dead in the world of the Dunya.
“Allah takes the souls at the time of their death.” 39:42, Holy Quran
After you have died, your family and Muslim community will conduct your Ghusl (full-body ritual purification) and then proceed to your Janazah (funeral prayer) which is a part of the Islamic funeral rituals. After this and many prayers, your body is then buried six-foot underground, alone and by itself.
After some time in your grave, you are then visited by two angels, known as Munkar and Nakir. They are assigned to test the faith of those dead within their graves. When they arrive, they sit you up in your grave and ask you the following: “Who is your Lord? Who is your Prophet? And what is your faith?”.
When this is completed, you have been determined to either rest in peace until the day of judgement or you are severely punished by the angels until Allah (SWT) determines otherwise, until the day of resurrection. You will have now entered the stage of Barzakh, the veil or barrier which stands between two things that are not able to meet. You can easily interpret this stage as a waiting period until the day of judgement, a separation between the living and the hereafter.
“That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind. No! It is only a word he is saying, and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.” – (23:100) the Holy Quran.
The stage of Barzakh is a world similar to this world, but different. The treatment and style of living they receive with the inter-space of Barzakh is a reflection of their deeds and actions performed in the Dunya. It is believed that if the individual was a firm and devout servant of Allah (SWT), they are expected to receive many pleasures during this middle stage. If they have committed many sins or are kafirs (disbelievers), they will face a hard time during this stage.
When Allah (SWT) commands this stage to be over, the day of resurrection will arrive and all of Allah's (SWT) creations will be brought before him to be judged.

Angels of Fajr and Asr - TRUEPATH
1050. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "There are angels who take turns in visiting you by night and by day, and they all assemble at the dawn (Fajr) and the afternoon (`Asr) prayers. Those who have spent the night with you, ascend to the heaven and their Rubb, Who knows better about them, asks: `In what condition did you leave My slaves?' They reply: `We left them while they were performing Salat and we went to them while they were performing Salat.'''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: The angels for the night come at the time of `Asr when the angels for the morning are present. This is how the angels of the two shifts assemble at this time. The angels of the shift of `Asr leave their duty in the morning, and the angels of the morning shift resume their duty when the pious persons are engaged in Fajr prayer. This is how the two groups assemble again at that time. Thus, when the angels come or go, the people who are punctual in their prayer are engaged in Fajr and `Asr. Almighty Allah knows everything but even then He asks the angels about his pious slaves so that the piousness of the believers and their merit and distinction become evident to them.

[EP24] Story Of Muhammad (ﷺ) Miracles By Muhammad (ﷺ) #SeerahSeries - Dr. YQ
Whenever we hear the word miracle, surely immediately we will think of something that is beyond our understanding as a human being. On the other hand, nothing is impossible with the will of Allah. Similarly, there are various miracles performed by our beloved prophet, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Miracle is an extraordinary event bestowed by Allah to His messengers as evidence of the authenticity of their prophecy. It is something that no other human being can do. Among the miracles of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ are:
1. The Holy Quran
Say, “If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants.”
[Al – Isra’ 88:111]
The Holy-Quran is the first and the greatest miracles of the Prophet ﷺ. It is a book that will remain unchanged until the Day of Judgement and will always be the guide of life for Muslims around the world.
2. The Splitting Moon
Narrated by Anas ibn Malik r.a:
أن أهل مكة سألوا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن يريهم آية فأراهم القمر شقتين حتى رأوا حراء بينهما
The people of Mecca requested Prophet ﷺ to show them a miracle, and so he showed them the moon split in two halves between which they saw the Hira’ mountain.
[Sahih Al-Bukhari]
The miracle of the splitting moon is a miracle shown to the Meccan polytheists who asked for proof of his prophethood. Prophet ﷺ then said: “Witness”. When the moon split in two, the Hira’ mountain appeared to be between the two split moons. He explained that with Hira’ mountain visible, they could see that the moon was completely split.
3. Isra and Miraj: The Night Journey and Ascension
Glory be to the Most Perfect One Who took His servant for a journey on a (blessed) night from Masjidil Haraam (in Mecca) to Masjidil Aqsa (in Jerusalem) where its surrounding area We have blessed so that We may show him some of Our signs. Indeed, He alone is the One who hears all and sees all.
[Al – Isra’ 1:111]
4. Water Flowed from Prophet’s ﷺ Hands
Narrated by Anas ibn Malik r.a:
أتي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بإناء وهو بالزوراء فوضع يده في الإناء فجعل الماء ينبع من بين أصابعه فتوضأ القوم
Prophet ﷺ was given a container while in Zawra’ and he dipped his hands in the container. Then, water began to flow from his fingers like a fountain and the people performed ablution.
[Sahih Al – Bukhari]
Once the time for prayer approached but the companions could not find any water to perform ablution and this matter came to the knowledge of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ asked for a bowl and put his hand in the bowl and the water began to squirt out of his fingers and the water sufficed for the companions to perform ablution.
5. A Little Amount of Food That Multiplied
Narrated by Anas ibn Malik r.a:
Abu Talhah sent me to Prophet ﷺ to call him to eat. He said: I met Rasulullah ﷺ. when he was with the people, then he looked at me, I was ashamed, and I said: Accept the invitation of Abu Talhah. He then said: “Come on (all)”. Abu Talhah said: O Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I have only prepared a little food for you. The Prophet ﷺ touched the food and prayed for blessings for him and then said: “Enter ten people” and then said: “Eat”. He scooped the food out of his fingers, then they ate until they were full and then they came out. Then he said: “Enter ten more”. They ate until they were full. This thing went on for ten people until all were full. Then he kept the food while the contents were the same as when they ate earlier (a lot).
[Muslim]
This incident happened when Abu Talhah heard the weak voice of Prophet ﷺ and he knew that it was a sign that the Prophet ﷺ was feeling hungry. He then, told his wife to prepare food for the Prophet ﷺ. The food they had was very little. Hence, he asked Anas Bin Malik to invite the Prophet ﷺ to eat at his house. At that time, the Prophet ﷺ was in the mosque with other companions. Then he invited all of them to come along. The matter surprised Abu Talhah because the food provided was not enough for all the companions, but only for the Prophet ﷺ. However, when the Prophet ﷺ entered the house of Abu Talhah, the Prophet ﷺ asked the companions, as many as ten people at a time, to enter the house to eat in turns and then distributed food to them until they were all full and satisfied. The total number at that time was 70 or 80 people.
Insha’Allah, by knowing more about the various miracles from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, we can increase our faith in Allah.

The Bankrupt Person ᴴᴰ | Mufti Menk| TRUE PATH
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do you know who are bankrupt?” They said, “The one without money or goods is bankrupt.” The Prophet said, “Verily, the bankrupt of my nation are those who come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers, fasting, and charity, but also with insults, slander, consuming wealth, shedding blood, and beating others. The oppressed will each be given from his good deeds. If his good deeds run out before justice is fulfilled, then their sins will be cast upon him and he will be thrown into the Hellfire.”

Tahajjud unlock paradise on earth | Nouman Ali Khan |
What is Qiyam al-layl?
Qiyam al-layl means spending the night, even if it is only for a short time, in prayer, reading Quran, remembering Allah (dhikr), and other acts of worship. It is not stipulated that it should take most of the night.
What is tahajjud?
With regard to tahajjud , it is (voluntary) prayers at night. Some scholars stipulate that it is prayers at night that are offered after having slept.
However the view of most of the jurists is that it refers to any prayers offered at night.
How to offer prayers at night
What is prescribed with regard to prayers at night is that the prayers should be offered two rak‘ahs by two, then the worshipper should end his prayers with one rak‘ah, so as to make the prayers odd-numbered.
Ibn ‘Umar narrated that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about the prayers offered at night. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The night prayers are two by two, then if one of you fears that dawn may come, he should pray one rak‘ah, which will make what he has prayed odd-numbered.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari (946) and Muslim (749)
How to pray tahajjud and witr
From that it is clear that the Sunnah with regard to tahajjud and Witr includes several things:
The worshipper should offer his prayers two (rak‘ahs) by two, so he should separate each two rak‘ahs of his prayer with the taslim.
He should start with tahajjud first, and pray as much as Allah wills that he should pray.
Witr should be the last of his prayers at night. The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Make the last of your prayers at night Witr (lit. odd-numbered).” (Narrated by al-Bukhari (953) and Muslim (751).
The worshipper should not delay any of his tahajjud or Witr until the break of dawn; rather he should try to make sure that he has done all of that before the adhan of Fajr.
An-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“The words of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him),” then if one of you fears that dawn may come, he should pray one rak‘ah, which will make what he has prayed odd-numbered” – and according to another hadith, he said, “Pray Witr before dawn” – indicates that the Sunnah is to make Witr the last of the prayers offered at night, and that the time for it ends with the break of dawn. This is the well-known view in our madhhab, and it is the view of the majority of scholars. It was also said that the time lasts after dawn has broken, until the obligatory prayer is offered.” (Sharh Sahih Muslim, 6/30-32)
Best time for offering prayers at night
The Muslim may offer whatever prayers he wishes at night, from after ‘Isha prayer until dawn, depending on whatever he is able to to, whether at the beginning of the night, or in the middle of the night, or at the end thereof, with any number of rak‘ahs.
The best time for offering the prayers at night is the end of the night, for it is the time when Allah descends to the first heaven, and the time when the gates of heaven are opened.
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever fears that he will not get up at the end of the night, let him pray Witr at the beginning. Whoever is sure that he will get up at the end of the night, let him pray Witr at the end , for prayer at the end of the night is witnessed, and that is better.” (Narrated by Muslim (755).
If he prays at the beginning of the night, then prays Witr, then he decides to pray at the end of the night whatever he wishes, two rak‘ahs by two, he should not repeat Witr, for there should not be two Witrs in one night.
And Allah knows best.

Why So Many People Are Depressed? | Mohammed Hoblos| powerful message
Defining Depression
Depression is a mental health condition characterized by intense negative emotions such as sadness, pessimism, or despondency to a point that it interferes with how one goes about their day. Many people face sadness or sorrow in life. Although both grief and depression involve intense sadness and withdrawal, they differ fundamentally. Depression is varied and, likewise, there are various treatment options available. One mode of treatment that studies found to be beneficial are religious coping techniques.
With this in mind, the Quran can significantly assist Muslims with combating depression. Although clinical depression requires professional treatment, the full force of sadness or sorrow influenced by life’s difficulties, trials, and internal conflict can be buffered with the help of reciting and reflecting on the Quran. Boosting one’s spirituality can provide an inner strength facilitating a calm, healthy mindset. The stigma that depression is a defect in faith is baseless when considering the fact that the Prophets and Companions were not exempt from feelings of sorrow or periods in which they experienced intense emotions drawing parallels with what modern psychology associates with depression. For example, Prophet Ya’qub (pbuh) experienced such intense sadness when losing his son that his crying and grief cost him his eyesight. The year when Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) beloved wife Khadijah and uncle Abu Talib passed away was known as The Year of Sorrow.
Quran Acknowledges the Reality of Depression
Many times the Quran reminds one that there is no grief or fear if one remains steadfast and that the Hereafter is free of all those negative and overwhelming feelings and situations (Quran 43:68, 46:13). The Quran acknowledges the reality of these emotions and, by extension, acknowledges the reality of depression. This article presents various instances where the Quran addresses strong emotions such as grief and sorrow, extracting lessons from these five verses from the Quran that may help with depression.
Verse 1: Faith and Perseverance
“So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers.” [3:139]
The context of this verse involves the early Muslims of Medina being consoled after their initial success became a defeat due to errors in decision making and emotional turmoil. Some were even in distress about rumors that the Prophet (pbuh) was martyred. This influenced their ability to function well. At this point in time, the early Muslims were despondent and sorrowful. This verse came down as a consolation, urging them not to be disheartened nor to dwell in the past about things that cannot be changed. It redirects their focus, stating that they will get through their seemingly hopeless situation by holding onto faith and having confidence in Allah. Persisting in these qualities would lead to their victory, and ultimately this proved true. From this one learns the importance of faith and perseverance. This verse teaches that setbacks occur, that wallowing in emotion is a natural reaction, yet still, even after failure or the most hopeless of situations one can rise again.
Verse 2: Solace in God’s Presence
“And let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, honor [due to power] belongs to Allah entirely. He is the Hearing, the Knowing.” [10:65]
This verse served as a comfort to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) during one of the many times he experienced ill-speech and remarks during his mission. It was meant to lessen his worry and strengthen him so that he did not have to feel hurt on top of the challenges that existed. In this situation, Allah acknowledged the Messenger’s patience and efforts, assuring him that he was not alone after being assigned the arduous task of bringing the Message to mankind. The verse states that Allah was aware of all the particularities of the situation, and that the words of the opposition held no power. The Prophet (pbuh) did not have to internalize or deal with the hurt alone. Since God is described as the All-Hearer and the All-Knower, this verse reinforces the idea that He knows of one’s experiences and challenges; something one can find comfort in. Again, the overall lesson that this verse teaches is that one can find solace in God’s presence. The All-Knowing can be one’s greatest ally in situations of injustice and when one experiences inner turmoil caused by internal or external factors. One is never alone.
Verse 3: An Optimistic Outcome
“And they will say, “Praise to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative.” [35:34]
The reality of this world is that not one single person can escape the experiences of concern, anxiety, or sorrow. The sorrow referred to in the verse above includes all states of concern and distress. The verse also refers to the sorrow and concern that will be felt about the Day of Judgement and one’s destination in the Hereafter. In the verse, the people are described as glad because they are forgiven for their errors and that God appreciated their efforts. It is explained that Allah will remove all anxieties and sorrow from the people of heaven. This can be seen as a motivation and consolation- a motivation to be continuous in betterment and consolation that any sorrows of this world will not follow into the next. The description of God being Forgiving and Appreciative is important, as scholars such as Ibn `Abbas explained that, “He forgives them for their major sins, and appreciates even the smallest of their good deeds.”
This shows that effort of every size is accounted for, every intention is acknowledged, and that despite one’s shortcomings there is always hope for, amongst the attributes of God is that he is “Most Forgiving, Most Merciful”. This verse acknowledges that this world is full of trials, hardships, and sorrows that mankind experiences and also paints a picture of an optimistic future to look forward to. It reminds one that depression is temporary.
Verse 4: Relying on God’s Support
“If you do not aid the Prophet – Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, “Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us.” And Allah sent down his tranquility upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah – that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.” [9:40]
This verse involves events surrounding the Expedition to Tabuk, a period of time that was a tough test for the Muslims for a number of reasons. They had to journey in the scorching summer heat, there was a famine, and there were also people amongst them wavering in support and sincerity. The situation was no doubt disheartening. However, the verse reminds of how during the early migration from Makkah to Medina, Allah had helped via unseen factors when Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) own people drove him out of his hometown with plans of an assassination. The only companion he had on this journey was Abu Bakr. The situation was stressful. Soldiers were on the hunt, and the only place they found to hide was a cave in which they remained for 3 days. The soldiers thoroughly searched all areas around Makkah, and some even reached the mouth of the cave. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) felt alarmed that they would be discovered, worrying for the Prophet’s safety. However, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) remained a calm and reassuring presence, strengthening his companion’s resolve by saying “Do not grieve, indeed Allah is with us.” It is described that tranquility descended on them and ultimately they survived the situation unscathed. Again, this highlights the comfort in knowing one can rely on God to be one’s greatest supporter. One need not despair nor lose trust in His help.
From this one learns that Allah’s support is available and that no situation is too hopeless or impossible. When the odds seem stacked against one, when situations and feelings are so overwhelming it leaves one cornered, it is beneficial to remember to rely on the one who could conceal the Prophet and his Companion in a small cave with the enemy right at the entrance.
Verse 5: Glad Tidings
“Indeed, those who have said, “Our Lord is Allah” and then remained on a right course – the angels will descend upon them, [saying], “Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised.” [41:30]
The descent and glad tidings of the angels as mentioned in the verse is said to occur at the time of one’s death or on the Day of Resurrection. Then, the angels will speak consoling words, replacing all grief and sorrow with serenity, bringing the good news of paradise. The objective of these verses is to mention the coming down of the angels on those who are struggling with their lives, so that they are consoled and encouraged. It is explained that the company of the angels is not restricted to the Hereafter and also occurs in this world, in that they instill peace and serenity in the hearts of those experiencing difficulties.
This verse serves as consolation for the steadfast and sincere. The significance of this verse is that we learn that the angels can be one’s guardians and companions, and at the time of death impart glad tidings of the end of bad things and the advent of good things. This verse acknowledges the grief mankind experiences in this life and once again shifts perspective to an optimistic outcome free of depression and anxieties.

if people knew what reward there of isha & fajr prayer they would come even if they have to crawl #islam
All Muslims in the world must perform Salaah five times a day, namely Fajr, Dhuhur, Asr, Maghrib and Isha. There is a great implication in praying daily, as it improves the link between them and Allah (SWT). It also serves as a means of forgiveness of sins and earning of lots of blessings from Allah SWT.
Although every Namaz is equally important, but Fajr and Isha are considered as a measure of differentiating between Momineen (true believers) and Munafiqeen (pretenders of faith).
In Hadith, Abu Hurrerah (R.A) narrates the Prophet (PBUH) saying as:
“The most difficult salah for the munafiqeen is isha and fajr. Had they known the rewards for them they would have attended them even if they had to crawl on their knees.”(Bukhari)
See other Hadith which says the importance of Fajr and Isha prayer:
"The Prophet (PBUH) said: 'If the people knew what (reward) there is in the Isha prayer and Fajr prayer, they would come even if they had to crawl.'" (Sahih)
"The Prophet (PBUH) said: 'The most burdensome prayers for the hypocrites are the Isha prayer and the Fajr prayer. If only they knew what (reward) there is in them, they would come to them even if they had to crawl.'" (Sahih)
Abu Huraira (R) said, "If the people knew what is the reward of making azan and (of being in) the first row in the prayer, and if they found no other way to get this privilege except by casting lots, they would certainly cast lots for it. If they knew the reward of the noon prayer, they would race for it, and if they knew the reward of the Fajr and Isha prayers, they would present themselves for the prayer even if they had to crawl to reach there.
As, it generally gets tougher to pray at the times of night and early morning, so it vastly increases the reward for executing Isha and Fajr, and the incentive itself could not be any better than being included among the ranks of the staunch disciples of Islam. Moreover, since it is our common belief that prayers always have a soothing effect on its practitioner, so does Isha, in the form of a pleasant sleep at night.
And Allah knows best

Too Lazy To Pray Watch This! by Mufti Ismail Menk ┇ Powerful reminder
What is Salah?
The salah is a special form of worship that is the second most important pillar of Islam after the shahada (testimony of faith). It is an obligatory form of prayer performed five times a day that was revealed in the Holy Qur’an and taught to us by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
There are many verses in the Holy Quran which Allah tells us about the importance of prayer. Here are two such verses:
But those who hold fast to the Book and establish prayer – indeed, We will not allow to be lost the reward of the pious.
Qur'an - Chapter 7, Verse 170
Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.
Qur'an - Chapter 29, Verse 45
The salah involves a number of physical movements – standing, bowing, prostrating, and sitting. It also involves the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran in Arabic along with a number of dua (supplications).
The Muslim will face the direction of the Kaba, the Sacred House of Allah in Makkah, whenever they perform their prayer. These physical movements, recitations, and supplications are all done to show humility and submission to Allah.
Why do Muslims Pray Salah?
The reason why Muslims pray at all relates to what Islam considers to be the purpose of life – to worship Allah alone. Shortly after Muhammad became a Prophet, the performance of salah (worship) was one of the first commandments given to him by Allah.
Allah Almighty tells us in the Holy Qur’an that mankind was only created for one reason: to worship Him.
And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).
Qur'an - Chapter 51, Verse 56
The salah is the second pillar of Islam and it is a critical part of a Muslim’s faith. One of the biggest differences between a Muslim and a non-Muslim is the salah. Our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“Between a man and polytheism and disbelief there stands his neglect of the prayer.”
Why Do Muslims Pray 5 Times a Day?
This question is quite common and many people do not know the real reason of where the number five came from. When Muhammad (peace be upon him) became a Prophet at the age of forty one of the first things he was taught was how to pray. Allah sent the angel Gabriel (Jibreel) to teach him how to make wudu and perform the salah.
Some 11 years after the beginning of prophethood a miraculous journey took place in which the angel Gabriel took Muhammad (peace be upon him) to the first heaven. It was during this event that Allah commanded him and the Muslims to specifically pray five times a day. This event was recorded in the Holy Qur’an and we also have authentic narrations from the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself that he undertook this journey.
The full story of the Prophet’s ascent to heaven is known as Isra and Mi’raj. It is a lengthy story for which we will not go into detail. However, the last part of the story will be shared; the part where the commandment to pray specifically five times a day was given. Up until that point in history the Muslims would perform salah, but there was no specific number of times that was legislated.

[EP23]- Story Of Muhammad (ﷺ) - When Satan (Iblis) Tried To Kill Muhammad (ﷺ) #SeerahSeries - YQ
enemy of humans is iblis
Surely, Shaitan (Satan) is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his Hizb (followers) that they may become the dwellers of the blazing fire.” (Qur’an, 35:6)
he ways Shaitan deceives the mankind
Shaitan has different ways and means to deceive the mankind. The pious people will get Allah’s protection; and Iblis and his forces will never harm them. Allah Ta’la said,
“Iblis said: ‘Because You have sent me astray, surely, I will lie in wait against them (human beings) on Your straight path. Then, I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them as thankful ones (i.e they will not be dutiful to You” (Qur’an, 7:17)
He diverts the people from the right path in the following ways:
a. By creating enmity among themselves: destructive criticisms or errant behaviour followed by physical fighting. Allah (SWT) says, “Shaitan (Satan) wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants (alcoholic drinks) and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah and from As-Salat (the prayer). So, will you not then abstain”? (Qur’an, 5:91)
b. Putting doubts in the hearts of the people: Always we should seek Allah Protection from Shaitan. Allah Said, “Say, “I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind, The Kind of mankind, The Ilah (God) of mankind, From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one’s heart after one remembers Allah). “Who whispers in the breast of mankind. “Of Jinn and men”. (Quran, 114:1-6).
c. Putting fear of poverty in the hearts of some people. Allah Ta’ala is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs. He says, “Shaitan (Satan) threatens you with poverty and orders you to commit Fahsha (evil deeds, illegal sexual intercourse, sins); whereas Allah promises you forgiveness from Himself and bounty, and Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower” (Qur’an, 2:268).
Ways to defeat Shaitan
a. Observing Piety (Taqwa): Allah Ta’ala will make smooth for us the path of ease if we keep our duties to Him, “As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah and fears Him; and believes in Al-Husna, we will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness).” (Quran, 92:5-7)
b. Praying Salaah on Time: Salaah prevents us from great sins. Allah Ta’ala said, “Recite (O Muhammad –SAW) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur’an), and perform As-Salat. Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed).” (Qur’an, 29:45).
c. Joining to the masjid activities: participating in masjid activities makes the emaan of the believer stronger. Allah Ta’ala said, “The mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and fear none but Allah. It is they who are on true guidance.” (Qur’an, 9:18)
d. Acquiring True Islamic Knowledge: Knowledgeable people, in Islam, can differentiate between right and wrong; and it is not easy for Shaitan to deceive them. Allah Ta’ala says, “It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allah” (Qur’an, (35:28)
e. Reciting the Holy Quran at home: Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA): That the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “Do not turn your houses into graves. Indeed, Shaitan does not enter the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited”. (Hadith: Jami At-Tirmidhi).
My advice to everyone: To recite the following Du’as:
· Innovation for anger “I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast”. (Al-Bukhari)
· The expiation of Assembly “Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise is to You. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You”. (Abu Dawud)
· Repentance and seeking forgiveness “I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, Whom there is none worthy of worship except Him, the Living, the Eternal, and I repent to Him.” (Abu Dawud)
May Allah (SWT) guide us to the right path and make us successful in this life and life hereafter

Beautiful Masjid (Allah's House) in somewhere Africa- Beautiful Adhan and prayer| Masha Allah
A mosque is the House of Allah s.w.t. where only He is worshipped and glorified through the five daily prayers, supplementary (Sunnah) prayers, reciting the Quran, Zikir (remembrance of Allah s.w.t.) and many other good deeds. As mentioned in the Quran,
وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَـٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدًا
“And (He revealed) that the mosques are for Allah, so do not invoke with Allah anyone.”
(Surah Al-Jinn, 72:18)
Its sanctity must be protected. As mentioned in the Quran,
“...Had Allah not driven back the people, some by the means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques, in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. Allah will certainly help those who stand up for Him. Allah is truly All-Powerful, Almighty.”
(Surah Al-Hajj, 22:40)
Sitting inside mosques with the intention of doing ‘Ibadah for the sake of Allah (I’tikaf) is also a form of worship in Islam.
The importance of mosques is such that the first building the Prophet s.a.w. built when he reached Madinah was the mosque. It was primarily a place of worship for Muslims. On that note, it also served as a place of gathering to learn the religion and a place of councils where the Prophet s.a.w. and his companions r.a. discuss important matters such as protecting the city of Madinah from the threats of the enemies.
Virtues of Mosques
There are many virtues and merits in relation to mosques. Here are 5 of them:
1. Mosque is the most beloved place to Allah
Abu Hurairah r.a. reported that the Prophet s.a.w. said,
أَحَبُّ البِلَادِ إلى اللهِ مَسَاجِدُهَا، وَأَبْغَضُ البِلَادِ إلى اللهِ أَسْوَاقُهَا
"The dearest parts on the face of the earth to Allah are its mosques, and the most hated parts to Allah are its markets."
(Sahih Muslim)
The mosques are the most beloved place to Allah as they are the places of gatherings for the believers to worship Allah s.w.t. and there are a lot of good deeds being done in mosques. As for the markets and why they are the most hated parts to Allah is because they are places where people usually conduct dishonest transactions, break promises and they are usually devoid of the remembrance of Allah s.w.t. Such deviances revoke His mercy. Hence it is not the places per se but the immoralities that were attributed to these places.
2. Hearts attached to mosques are chosen to be under the shade of Allah in the Hereafter
Abu Hurairah r.a. reported that the Prophet s.a.w. said in a famous long hadith;
"Seven are (the persons) whom Allah will give Shade of His Throne on the Day when there would be no shade other than His Throne's Shade: A just ruler; a youth who grew up worshipping Allah; a man whose heart is attached to mosques; two persons who love and meet each other and depart from each other for the sake of Allah; a man whom an extremely beautiful woman seduces (for illicit relation), but he (rejects this offer by saying): 'I fear Allah'; a man who gives in charity and conceals it (to such an extent) that the left hand does not know what the right has given; and a person who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes well up"
(Muttafaqun ‘Alayh)
One of the categories of people mentioned in this hadith is ‘a man whose heart is attached to mosques’. This person will always yearn to go to mosques to perform daily prayers in congregation. He or she will make time to worship Allah s.w.t, to be connected with Him. The person may also be involved in volunteering and helping out in mosques to the best of his or her ability despite the other commitments, to gain Allah’s mercy and redha.. Maintaining the Mosque is a testimony of faith
Abu Sa'eed r.a. narrated that the Messenger of Allah s.a.w. said:
“If you see a man committed to the mosque then bear witness to his faith. Because Allah, the Exalted, says: The mosques are only maintained by those who have faith in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer and give charity (At-Taubah, 9:18)”
(Sunan At-Tirmizi)
4. Rasulullah s.a.w. prayed for a woman who had been in service to the mosque
The companion, Abu Hurairah r.a, reported:
A dark-complexioned woman (or a youth) used to clean the mosque. Rasulullah s.a.w. missed her (or him) and inquired about her (or him). The people told him that she (or he) had died. He asked why didn’t they inform him, and it appears as if they had considered the matter insignificant. He (the Prophet s.a.w.) said: Lead me to her (or his) grave. They led him to that place and he prayer for her (or him)
(Sahih Muslim)
In another narration, her name was mentioned as Ummu Mihjan r.a.
This hadith shows the virtue of a believer who serves with sincerity in the house of Allah s.w.t. Although to some people she was just someone who cleans the mosque, in truth, she has a special place in the heart of Rasulullah s.a.w. She may be nobody in the eyes of others, but look at how Allah s.w.t. elevated her rank in the eyes of the Prophet s.a.w. Do not belittle a good deed no matter how small or trivial it may seem to us. 5. Allah prepares an abode in Paradise for those who go to the mosque
Abu Hurairah r.a. reported, The Prophet s.a.w. said
"Whoever goes to the mosque at dawn or dusk (for Solat), Allah prepares a hospitable abode for him in Paradise, every time when he walks to or comes back from it"
(Muttafaqun ‘Alayh)
Commitment to the Mosque
In Singapore, we are blessed as we have many mosques all over the country where we can just drop by and perform our daily prayers. The mosques are also actively conducting various religious and social programs for the benefit of the Muslim community and Singaporeans at large. In doing so, they definitely need our support and contribution such as donations to sustain the administration and activities of the mosques.
