🤔 Think 12 to 24 hours ahead. The simplest thing you can do... that's going to have the most impact on your organization and getting meals on the table... is to think 12 to 24 hours ahead. Think... do you need to start anything soaking? Do you need to rinse and drain anything? Do you need to start something cooking that has soaked? Do you need to start something dehydrating that has soaked? Do you need to get out meat to thaw? Usually for me, I'm thinking these thoughts at breakfast and dinner, and taking 5 to 10 minutes while I'm fixing other things, to move these other key things along. This is a HUGE key to making Eat God's Way work for you. So you can serve those healthy meals without stressing or being overwhelmed. Most of us SAVE time and money simply by facilitating stages of meal prep in 12 to 24 hour cycles. What is Eat God's Way? Kitchen accidents! 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😂 I just had to laugh at myself when I sprayed frozen white corn all over the place (while doing a live workshop this morning). At least now everyone knows we're all in the same boat. The human one! 🤗 No matter how hard we try, we can't foresee everything. We can't do everything perfectly. We just do our best. 🤔 Hmmm... this sounds a lot like Eat God's Way. We do the best we can with what God's shown us and given to us. Knowing that we can't be perfect. Perfection is so impossible we would starve long before ever attained it (not that we could). If we make mistakes, which we WILL do, no doubt about it... we must laugh and give thanks, dust ourselves off, and move along. Because the next breath we take brings an opportunity to try again.
