Ryan Bingham - Mescalito
Ryan Bingham - Mescalito
Mescalito is the first studio album by American country rock singer/songwriter Ryan Bingham, released in 2007 through Lost Highway Records and produced by Marc Ford.
Production
The album was released after three self-produced albums by Bingham and his band, the Dead Horses. Some of the tracks in Mescalito, such as "South Side of Heaven" (the main single from the album) and "Long Way From Georgia" were taken from the Dead Horses albums (specifically, from Wishbone Saloon). The album encompasses several traditional American and Mexican styles, including bluegrass, country rock, southern rock, blues, americana and mariachi ("Boracho Station").[1][2]
Mescalito was produced by guitarist Marc Ford (of Black Crowes fame) and features several prominent artists of the country and southern rock scene, such as Terry Allen (who makes a cameo appearance in "Ghost of Travelin' Jones"), Joe Ely, and Marc Ford himself, who plays electric guitar in "The Other Side" and "Bread and Water" and slide guitar in "Hard Times".[3] A different version of "The Other Side" was also included in Marc Ford's album Weary and Wired.

The Final Days of Jim Morrison | Full documentary in English
The Final Days of Jim Morrison | Full documentary in English.
It was in 1971 that Jim Morrison reached the summit! With 6 years of intensive career, 6 albums and 200 concerts, nothing seemed to stop the emblematic figure of the Doors.
And yet, the man we called the Dionysus of rock met a tragic end. Illustrated by numerous testimonies and archive images, we return with this report on the last days of this rock icon, consumed by the torments of a star's life.

Honeyhoney (stylized as honeyhoney) was an Americana group based in Los Angeles, California, United States.
History
The band was formed in 2006 by musician Benjamin Jaffe and musician/model/actress Suzanne Santo. The two met at a costume party and signed a record deal a year later.[1] They originally performed under the name Zanzibar Lewis and were under that name when they signed with the now-defunct Ironworks record label.[2]
Their debut album, First Rodeo, was released by Ironworks on November 4.[2] Ironworks co-owner Kiefer Sutherland directed and starred in the group's music video for their song "Little Toy Gun".[3] Honeyhoney toured with Lifehouse, another Ironworks band, at the start of their career.[4] The band released their second studio album, Billy Jack, on Oct 24, 2011 under their own honeyhoney Records/Lost Highway label.[5]
Their third album, 3, was produced by Dave Cobb and released June 9, 2015.[6] The website American Songwriter reviewed it writing, "with a singer-songwriter that exudes the magnetic passion and swaggering star power of Santo, this is a group whose time has come."[7]
The duo parted with Rounder and disbanded in 2017.[8][9]

Billy Strings - Renewal Album
Billy Strings was born William Lee Apostol on October 3, 1992, in Lansing, Michigan. His father died of a heroin overdose when he was two and his mother remarried Terry Barber, an accomplished amateur bluegrass musician. Billy regards Barber as his father. The family moved to Morehead, Kentucky, then to Muir, Michigan. While he was still a pre-teen his parents became addicted to methamphetamine. He left the family home at the age of thirteen and went through a period of hard-drug usage. His family eventually achieved sobriety; Billy stopped using hard drugs and drinking alcohol.
Barber was a heavy influence on his stepson, introducing him to traditional bluegrass artists at a young age, including Doc Watson, Del McCoury, David Grisman, Bill Monroe, John Hartford, Ralph Stanley, Earl Scruggs, and Larry Sparks.[ Strings is also a rock and metal fan, influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, Widespread Panic, Phish, Grateful Dead, Def Leppard, Between the Buried and Me, and Black Sabbath, and played in hard rock and indie rock bands in his teens.
Apostol got his stage name Billy Strings from his aunt, who saw his ability on multiple traditional bluegrass instruments.
