Metallica - The Unforgiven - Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs
Bass cover of Metallica's song The Unforgiven with Play Along in video Tabs. The tab is for a 4 string bass in standard tuning.
Song: The Unforgiven
Artist: Metallica
Album: The Black Album
Original Bassist: Jason Newsted
Bass: @OfficialSpector Legend Classic 6 String
Strings: MTD Stainless Strings
Tuning: Standard (E A D G)
The Unforgiven is a power ballad by American heavy metal band Metallica. It was released as the second single from their eponymous fifth album Metallica (also known as The Black Album). Though one of the slower tracks on the album, its chord progression is distinctly one of the heaviest ballads featured on the album. The song deals with the theme of the struggle of the individual against the efforts of those who would subjugate him.
The song has since spawned two sequels, in the form of "The Unforgiven II", from the album Reload, and "The Unforgiven III", from the album Death Magnetic.
Lars Ulrich explained that the band wanted to try something new with the idea of a ballad. Instead of the standard melodic verse and heavy chorus – as evidenced on their previous ballads "Fade to Black", "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" and "One" – the band opted to reverse the dynamic, with heavy, distorted verses and a softer, melodic chorus, played with undistorted electric and acoustic guitars. The opening section contains percussive instruments performed by Ulrich, and also a small amount of keyboards.
The horn intro was essentially taken from The Unforgiven (a Western movie) and then reversed so its source would be hidden, as Hetfield later explained on the documentary Classic Albums: Metallica - Metallica.
Kirk Hammett said his solo was a last minute improvisation of "raw emotion" after the ideas he came with at the studio ended up not working. Pleased with the result, Hammett said it was the starting point of him playing less scripted solos in future songs.
"The Unforgiven" was played live as part of Metallica's "Wherever We May Roam" and "Nowhere Else to Roam" world tours, which lasted from 1991 to 1993, in support of The Black Album. It was played again on the Madly in Anger with the World Tour in 2003 and 2004 and has been continued to be played during all of the bands' tours since.
The live version of "The Unforgiven" includes a second solo near the end of the song that the original recording did not have, although this part has rarely been played since the early 2000s.

Metallica The Unforgiven Lyrics:
New blood joins this earth
And quickly he's subdued
Through constant pain disgrace
The young boy learns their rules
With time the child draws in
This whipping boy done wrong
Deprived of all his thoughts
The young man struggles on and on he's known
A vow unto his own
That never from this day
His will they'll take away
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven
They dedicate their lives
To running all of his
He tries to please them all
This bitter man he is
Throughout his life the same
He's battled constantly
This fight he cannot win
A tired man they see no longer cares
The old man then prepares
To die regretfully
That old man here is me
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven
You label me
I label you
So I dub thee unforgiven
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven

So I dub thee unforgiven

Pantera - 5 Minutes Alone - Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs
Bass cover of Pantera's song 5 Minutes Alone with Play Along in video Tabs. The tab is for a 4 string bass.
With the 2022 Pantera reunion/tribute I've been listening to a lot of Pantera who I've loved since I was a kid. I was even in a band named after this song 😂 Rex Brown is another reason I use Spector Basses. I always loved when Dime would be ripping a solo that there was no rhythm guitar track under that bad motherfucker so you could always hear Rex doing his thing, criminally underrated player and tone. When Metallica and Megadeth started to go down the 'alternate' route, Pantera did the opposite and got heavier and heavier, I don't know of any other bands that did that.
Thinking back to the early 2000's watching the Pantera home video's with a smoke on and some poorly mixed black tooth's seemed like a weekly event for me and my friends and I can clearly remember button mashing the refresh button on the Damageplan website on the morning of December 9th in 2004 😢 So this is for Dime and Vinnie for bringing many laughs and much bewilderment as to how good a musician/player each of them was, may they sleep easy 🥃🥃

5 Minutes Alone is a song by American heavy metal band Pantera from their 1994 album Far Beyond Driven. The song also appears on the band's live album.
Speaking about what the song is about, Pantera's drummer Vinnie Paul said:
"The story behind this song is we were opening for Megadeth, and there was a guy that was flipping us off the whole show and so we stopped the show. And I was like, 'Listen, in case you haven't noticed there's 18,000 people who really dig what we're doing. You're the only one doing that stupid shit without even having to egg the crowd on.' Ten guys just jumped the guy and beat the shit out of him. His dad called the manager after all the lawsuits and this and that, and basically said, 'Give me five minutes with that Phil Anselmo guy. I want to whup his ass.' "
Pantera's vocalist Phil Anselmo spoke about what the song is about saying:
"There are always gold-diggers out there. The way I remember it was there was this kid that swore that I jumped off the stage and beat him up. Well, that was bullshit. That did not happen at all. When the father asked for five minutes alone with me, our manager responded aptly and perfectly: 'No, you don't. I really doubt that,' and basically hung up on the guy. But once that story was conveyed to me, it actually made me angry because it wasn't fucking true. I basically plucked out those words from my agitator's mouth and yeah, man, 'five minutes alone,' fucking bring it."
Upon release, the song had an immediate impact on the band's fanbase, quickly becoming one of Pantera's most popular songs.

Pantera 5 Minutes Alone Lyrics:
I see you had your mind all made up
You group of pitiful liars
Before I woke to face the day
Your master plan transpired
Something told me
This job has more to meet the eye
My song is not believed?
My words somewhat deceiving?
Now I'm unwhole
You waged your war of nerves
But you can't crush the kingdom
Can't be what your idols are
Can't leave the scar
You cry for compensation
I ask you please just give us
Five minutes alone
Just give us!
Five minutes alone, yeah!
I read your eyes, your mind was made up
You took me for a fool
You used complexion of my skin
For a counter racist tool
You can't burn me
I've spilled my guts out in the past
Taken advantage of
'Cause you know where I come from
My past
You've waged a war of nerves
But you can't crush the kingdom
Can't be what your idols are
Can't leave that scar
I'll pay your compensation
I ask you please just give us
Five minutes alone
Just give me!
Five minutes alone, yeah!
Head bangs on broken glass!
Five minutes
Alone!
Just give me!
Yeah!
Stop!
I ask you please just give us
Five minutes alone
Just give me!
Five minutes alone, yeah!
I ask you please just give us
I ask you please just give us
I ask you please just give us
I ask you please just give us
I ask you please just give us
I ask you please just give us
I ask you please just give us
I ask you please just give us
I ask you please just give us
I ask you please just give us (five minutes alone)
I ask you please
I ask you please
Five minutes alone!

Deftones - Minerva - Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs
Bass Guitar Cover with Play Along Tabs of Deftones' song Minerva. The tab is for a 4 string bass in Drop Db Tuning. Underrated album, song and bassline.
Song: Minerva
Artist: Deftones
Album: Deftones
Original Bassist: Chi Cheng (RIP)
Bass: Custom Jazz Bass
Tuning: Drop D Flat (Db Ab Db Gb)
Minerva is a song by the American band Deftones and the lead single from their self-titled fourth studio album. Despite the album as a whole containing some of the band's heaviest work to date, Minerva itself has an uplifting alternative metal sound and has also been described as shoegaze.
In 2016, Consequence of Sound placed Minerva at No. 12 in its article "The Top 20 Deftones Songs", with Jon Hadusek claiming that "In a way, Deftones brought shoegaze to the alternative metal mainstream with 'Minerva', a crushingly heavy, textured jam indebted to Siamese Dream-era Smashing Pumpkins and Hum". The song charted at No. 9 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart, No. 16 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and No. 15 on the UK Singles Chart.
The music video for Minerva, directed by Paul Fedor, is notable for its similarity to Pink Floyd's Live at Pompeii concert film. The band is featured playing the song in a desert-like landscape backed by various amplifiers and other stage equipment. It was filmed near the Salton Sea in southern California in 2003, during a sandstorm. The filming process itself was fraught with problems, as the sand caused problems with the recording equipment and lighting setup. The shoot eventually took 22 hours to complete, with Abe Cunningham saying that "the shoot sucked" and Chi Cheng calling it "terrible", but conceding that "it is a trippy video. I actually like it a lot".
Deftones Minerva Lyrics:
I get all numb
When she sings, it's over
Such a strange numb
And it brings my knees to the earth
And God bless you all
For the song you saved us
You're the same, numb
When you sing it's over
Such a strange numb
It could bring back peace to the earth
So God bless you all
For the song you saved us, oh
For the hearts you break
Every time you moan
I get all numb
We're the same, numb
And it brings our knees to the earth
So God bless you all
For the song you saved us, oh
For the hearts you break
Every time you moan
And God bless you all on the earth

Deftones Change (In the House of Flies) Lyrics:
I watched you change
Into a fly
I looked away
You were on fire
I watched a change in you
It's like you never had wings
Now, you feel so alive
I've watched you change
I took you home
Set you on the glass
I pulled off your wings
Then I laughed
I watched a change in you
It's like you never had wings
Now, you feel so alive
I've watched you change
It's like you never had wings
Aah, aah, aah, aah
Aah, aah, aah, aah
Aah, aah
I look at the cross
Then I look away
Give you the gun
Blow me away
I watched a change in you
It's like you never had wings
Now, you feel so alive
I've watched you change
Now, you feel alive
You feel alive
You feel alive
I've watched you change
It's like you never had wings

You've changed

The Police - Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic - Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs
Bass cover of The Police song Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic with Play Along in video Tabs. The tab is for a 4 string bass in standard tuning.
Song: Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic
Artist: The Police
Album: Ghost in the Machine
Original Bassist: Sting 🦂
Bass: Custom Jazz Bass
Tuning: Standard Tuning (E A D G)
"Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" is a song by British rock group the Police from their fourth album, Ghost in the Machine. The song, notable for featuring a pianist (uncommon in Police songs), dates back to a demo recorded in the house of Mike Howlett in the autumn of 1976. It was also a hit single that reached the top of the charts in the United Kingdom (topping its predecessor, "Invisible Sun") in November 1981 and hit No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart that same year.
Although the song was recorded in 1981, Sting wrote it as early as late 1976 prior to the formation of the Police. An early (1976) demo of the song can be heard on the Strontium 90 album Strontium 90: Police Academy, which Sting recorded entirely by himself while the song was still fresh in his mind (according to Mike Howlett), using equipment in the loft of Howlett's home in Acton, London which included an acoustic guitar, a bass guitar, an African drum, a TEAC 4-track recorder and some cheap microphones. For Howlett, this demo is "a powerful testimony to the raw, undiluted talent that is Sting". The recording was made prior to the launch of the Portastudio in the late 70s, which Sting would later use for writing and demoing songs for The Police and so on. A second demo was recorded in January 1981 at Le Studio in Morin Heights, Canada, with Nick Blagona engineering:
"This was first recorded as a demo, with the piano figure, in a studio in Montreal. I had written the song long before the Police were successful, but it seemed a bit soft for the band at first. But the demo was really great. It sounded like a No 1 song to me. I took it to the band, who were reticent, still thinking it was soft. I was saying, "But listen, it's a hit." We tried to do it from scratch as the Police, but it didn't have the same energy as the demo. After a degree of hair-pulling and torturing on my part, I got the band to play over the top of my demo."
— Sting, September 1993
The piano part was added by session keyboardist Jean Roussel, whom Sting would fly over to help re-record the track against the wishes of his bandmates Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland while they were recording the Ghost in the Machine album at AIR Studios, Montserrat. Summers did not approve of Roussel's inclusion in the track, claiming that he was "incredibly pushy" and that "there wasn't room for him. He must have played 12 piano parts on that song alone." Copeland, however, said that Roussel "wasn't pushy ... He was just like us actually."
Feeling that the arrangement of the track was not enough like The Police style, Summers (who recalled, "as the guitar player I was saying, 'What is this? This is not the Police sound'") and the band tried to "Police-ify" the track by attempting different arrangements and styles, but none of them clicked.

The Police Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic Lyrics:
Though I've tried before to tell her
Of the feelings I have for her in my heart
Every time that I come near her
I just lose my nerve as I've done from the start
Every little thing she does is magic
Everything she do just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on
Do I have to tell the story
Of a thousand rainy days since we first met?
It's a big enough umbrella
But it's always me that ends up getting wet
Every little thing she does is magic
Everything she do just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on
I resolved to call her up
A thousand times a day
And ask her if she'll marry me
Some old-fashioned way
But my silent fears have gripped me
Long before I reach the phone
Long before my tongue has tripped me
Must I always be alone
Every little thing she does is magic
Everything she do just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on
Every little thing she does is magic
Everything she do just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on
On and on and on and
Every little thing, every little thing
Every little thing, every little thing
Every little, every little, every little
Every little thing she does
Every little thing she does
Every little thing she does
Every little thing she does
Thing she does is magic
E-oh E-oh E-oh E-oh E-oh E-oh E-oh E-oh
E-oh E-oh E-oh E-oh E-oh E-oh E-oh E-oh
Every little thing, every little thing
Every little thing she do is magic, magic, magic
Magic, magic, magic
Oh oh, Oh oh
E-oh oh oh oh oh
I have to tell a story
Of a thousand rainy days since we first met
It's a big enough umbrella
But it's always me that ends up getting wet

Metallica - Wherever I May Roam - Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs
Bass cover of Metallica's song Wherever I May Roam with Play Along in video Tabs. The tab is for a 4 string bass in standard tuning.
Song: Wherever I May Roam
Artist: Metallica
Album: The Black Album
Original Bassist: Jason Newsted
Bass: @OfficialSpector Legend Classic 6 String
Strings: MTD Stainless Strings
Tuning: Standard (E A D G)
"Wherever I May Roam" is a song by American heavy metal band Metallica. It was released in October 1992 as the fourth single from their eponymous fifth album, Metallica. It reached number 82 on the US Billboard Hot 100 peaked at number twenty-five on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart, and peaked at number two in Denmark, Finland and Norway.
All stringed instruments featured in this song, both guitars and basses, Use standard tuning. The original recording of the song is notable for its unusual instrumentation for the band: Asian instruments such as a gong and sitar-like-guitar feature, along with an overdubbed Warwick twelve-string bass. This 12-string bass was only used for effect during the intro to emphasize several accented notes and then a standard tuned 4-string bass was used as the main bass instrument throughout the remainder of the recording.
The song is performed frequently during the band's live concerts, and was performed with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Michael Kamen) on the live S&M and its companion DVD, as well as the 2019 S&M2. When performed live, the band has always relied on their original sitar recording for the intro (the band enters on the first accented note to dramatic effect); however, for the S&M concerts guitarist Kirk Hammett utilized a Danelectro electric sitar for the intro before switching to his ESP electric guitar.
The music video featured clips from Metallica behind the scenes and in concert, during their Wherever We May Roam Tour. The video version of the song is edited omitting the first bridge and third chorus and the last line in the second chorus "Where I lay my head is home" edited to end off as the third chorus does on the studio version with the words "That's where" leading into Hammett's guitar solo of the second bridge.

Metallica Wherever I May Roam Lyrics:
And the road becomes my bride
I have stripped of all but pride
So in her I do confide
And she keeps me satisfied
Gives me all I need
And with dust in throat I crave
Only knowledge will I save
To this game you stay a slave
Rover, wanderer
Nomad, vagabond
Call me what you will
But I'll take my time anywhere
Free to speak my mind anywhere
Never find anywhere
Anywhere I may roam
Where I lay my head is home
And the earth becomes my throne
I adapt to the unknown
Under wandering stars I've grown
By myself but not alone
I ask no one
And my ties are severed clean
The less I have the more I gain
Off the beaten path I reign
Rover wanderer
Nomad vagabond
Call me what you will
But I'll take my time anywhere
I'm free to speak my mind anywhere
Nevermind anywhere
Anywhere I may roam
Where I lay my head is home
But I'll take my time anywhere
Free to speak my mind
Nevemind anywhere
Anywhere I may roam
Where I lay my head is home (fuck yeah)
But I'll take my time anywhere
Free to speak my mind anywhere
Nevemind anywhere
Anywhere I may roam
Where I lay my head is home
Carved upon my stone
My body lie, but still I roam yeah yeah
Wherever I may roam
Wherever I may roam
Wherever I may roam
Wherever I may wander
(Wander, wander)
Wherever I may roam (yeah yeah yeah)

Sting - The Soul Cages - Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs
Bass Guitar Cover with Play Along Tabs of Sting's song The Soul Cages. The tab is for a 5 string bass in Standard Tuning.
Song: The Soul Cages
Artist: Sting
Album: The Soul Cages
Original Bassist: Sting
Bass: Custom Jazz Bass
Tuning: Standard Tuning (B E A D G)
The Soul Cages is the third full-length studio album released by English musician Sting. Released on 17 January 1991 in the UK and on 21 January 1991 in the US, it became Sting's second No. 1 album in the United Kingdom. This was Sting's first album to feature guitarist Dominic Miller, who would become a regular collaborator.
It spawned four singles: "All This Time", "Mad About You", "Why Should I Cry for You" and "The Soul Cages". The title track won Sting the first Grammy Award for Best Rock Song in 1992.
The Soul Cages is a concept album focused on the death of Sting's father. Sting had developed a writer's block shortly after his father's death in 1987; the episode lasted several years, until he was able to overcome his affliction by dealing with the death of his father through music. The single, "Why Should I Cry for You", was written for The Soul Cages in 1989, and Sting has said that the rest of the album flowed quite easily after that first hurdle was overcome. Most of the songs have motifs related to sailing or the seas; Sting wrote in his autobiography, Broken Music, that his father had always regretted not becoming a sailor. There are also references to Newcastle, the part of England where Sting grew up.
"I lived next to a shipyard when I was young and it was a very powerful image of this huge ship towering above the house. Tapping into that was a godsend – I began with that and the album just flowed." — Sting
In an interview with Charlie Rose aired on 10 December 2010, Sting mentioned that he was working on a "mood piece", a musical project and book in collaboration with Pulitzer winner Brian Yorkey. The work would be based on an album he released many years ago concerning the loss of his father, growing up in Newcastle and witnessing the passing of the shipbuilding industry there. He admitted being scared of the prospect of pulling it all together but expressed confidence in it working out. This project has since been confirmed as the musical The Last Ship.

Sting The Soul Cages Lyrics:
The boy child was locked in the fisherman's yard
A bloodless moon where the oceans die
A shoal of night stars hang fire in the nets
And the chaos of cages where the crayfish lie
Where is the fisherman? Where is the goat?
Where is the keeper in his carrion coat?
Eclipse on the moon when the dark bird flies
Where is the child with his father's eyes?
He's the king of the ninth world
Twisted son of the fog bells toll
In each and every lobster cage
A tortured human soul
These are the souls of the broken factories
Subject slaves of the broken crown
Dead accounting of old guilty promises
These are the souls of the broken town
These are the soul cages
These are the soul cages
These are the soul cages
These are the soul cages
"I'll have a wager", the brave child spoke
The fisherman laughed, though disturbed at the joke
"You will drink what I drink, but you must equal me
If the drink leaves me standing
A soul should go free"
I'll have here a cask of most magical wine
A vintage that blessed every ship in the line
It's wrung from the blood of the sailors who died
Young white bodies adrift in the tide
What's in it for me, my pretty young thing?
Why should I whistle, when the caged bird sings?
If you lose a wager with the king of the sea
You'll spend the rest of forever in the cage with me
These are the soul cages
These are the soul cages
These are the soul cages
These are the soul cages
A body lies open in the fisherman's yard
Like the side of a ship where the iceberg rips
One less soul in the soul cages
One last curse on the fisherman's lips
These are the soul cages
These are the soul cages
These are the soul cages
These are the soul cages
These are the soul cages
These are the soul cages
And he dreamed of the ship on the sea
It would carry his father and he
To a place they could never be found
To a place far away from this town
A Newcastle ship without coals
They would sail to the island of souls
These are the soul cages (these are the soul cages)
These are the soul cages (these are the soul cages)
These are the soul cages (these are the soul cages)
These are the soul cages (these are the soul cages)

Song: My Own Summer (Shove It)

Album: Around the Fur
Original Bassist: Chi Cheng RIP

Tuning: Drop D Flat (Db Ab Db Gb)
"My Own Summer (Shove It)" is a song by American alternative metal band Deftones, released in 1997 by Maverick Records as the first single from their second album Around the Fur. It was Deftones' first charting single, reaching number 29 in the UK Singles Chart. The song has been described as alternative metal and nu metal.
The video for "My Own Summer (Shove It)", directed by Dean Karr, begins with a clip of a cage falling into the sea, and blood seeping out of it into the surrounding waters. It then moves to footage of the band playing on a set of floating anti-shark cages. Eventually, a shark appears and is seen to be eating a piece of meat, presumably the contents of the cage. At the end of the video, frontman Chino Moreno falls into the water and the video fades out.
The video was shot at Pyramid Lake, California, with additional footage of the sharks coming from the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
An interview with Moreno that takes place during the filming of the video was included on the DVD release of B-Sides & Rarities.

Hey you, big star
Tell me when it's over
(Cloud)
Hey you, big mood
Guide me to shelter
'Cause I'm through when the two
Hits the six and it's summer
(Cloud)
Shove it! Shove it! Shove it!
(Shove) Shove it! Shove it! Shove it!
(The sun) Shove it! Shove it! Shove it!
(Aside) Shove it aside!
I think God is moving its tongue
There's no crowd in the streets and no sun
In my own summer
The shade is a tool, a device, a savior
See, I try and look up to the sky
But my eyes burn
(Cloud)
Shove it! Shove it! Shove it!
(Shove) Shove it! Shove it! Shove it!

Disturbed - The Game - Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs
Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs of Disturbed's song The Game. The tab is for a 4 string bass in E Flat Tuning.
Song: The Game
Artist: Disturbed
Album: The Sickness
Original Bassist: Steve Kmak
Bass: @OfficialSpector Legend Classic 6 String
Strings: MTD Stainless Strings
Tuning: E Flat (Eb Ab Db Gb)
"The Game" is a song by American heavy metal band Disturbed. It was released on 20 February 2001, as the fourth single from the band's debut album The Sickness, and has remained a live staple since. The song is playable on Rock Band and was featured in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge.
According to David Draiman, the song is "speaking about the manipulative nature of most people. That you should be cautious when playing with another person's emotions or someone may make you accountable at some point in time."
Disturbed The Game Lyrics:
Tell me exactly what am I supposed to do
Now that I have allowed you to beat me
Do you think that we could play another game?
Maybe I can win this time
I kind of like the misery you put me through
Darling, you can trust me completely
If you even try to look the other way
I think that I could kill this time
Rah, rah!
Rah, rah!
It doesn't really seem I'm getting through to you
Though, I see you weeping so sweetly
I think that you might have to take another taste
A little bit of hell this time
Rah, rah!
Lie to me
Rah, rah!
Lie to me
Is she not right? Is she insane?
Will she now run for her life in the battle that ends this day?
Is she not right? Is she insane?
Will she now run for her life now that she lied to me?
You always wanted people to remember you
To leave your little mark on society
Don't you know your wish is comin' true today?
Another victim dies, tonight
Rah, rah!
Lie to me
Rah, rah!
Lie to me
Is she not right? Is she insane?
Will she now run for her life in the battle that ends this day?
Is she not right? Is she insane?
Will she now run for her life now that she lied to me?
Is she really telling lies again?
Doesn't she realize she's in danger?
Is she not right? Is she insane?
Will she now run for her life in the battle that ends this day?
Is she not right? Is she insane?
Will she now run for her life now that she lied to me?
The little bitch, she went and she told a lie
And now, she will never tell another lie
The little bitch, she went and she told a lie
Never fucking lie to me

Tuning: Drop D Flat (Db Ab Db Gb)
Alice In Chains Rain When I Die Lyrics:
Is she ready to know my frustration?
What she slippin' inside, slow castration
I'm a riddle so strong, you can't break me
Did she come here to try, try to take me?
Did she call my name?
I think it's gonna rain
When I die
Was it something I said, held against me?
Ain't no life on the run, slowly climbing
Caught in ice so she stares, stares at nothing
I can help her but won't, now she hates me
Did she call my name?
I think it's gonna rain
When I die
She won't let me hide
She don't want me to cry
Will she keep on the ground, trying to ground me?
Slowly forgive my lie, lying to save me
Could she love me again or will she hate me?
Prob'ly not, I know why, can't explain me
Did she call my name?
I think it's gonna rain
When I die

Nirvana - Come As You Are - Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs
Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs of Nirvana's song Come As You Are. The bass tab is for a 4 string bass in D Standard Tuning.
Song: Come As You Are
Artist: Nirvana
Album: Nevermind
Original Bassist: Krist Novoselic
Bass: Custom Jazz Bass
Tuning: D Standard Tuning (D G C F)
This song has been in my head since @Moncho Echiburu released his great cover so check that out on his channel 🤘
"Come as You Are" is a song by American grunge band Nirvana, written by frontman and guitarist Kurt Cobain. It is the third track and the second single from the band's second studio album Nevermind, released in March 1992. It was the band's second and last American top 40 hit, reaching number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100, and second UK top 10 hit, reaching number nine on the UK Singles Chart. The single reached the top 10 in eight countries and the top 40 in eleven further countries.
The unexpected success of the album's lead single, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" drew Nirvana to mainstream success, with Nevermind being released two weeks after the single's release. Following the album's release, the band and its management company debated whether to release "Come as You Are" or "In Bloom" as the next single from the album due to Cobain's concerns over similarity of the former with the Killing Joke song "Eighties" (1984). After some persuasion by the management company, Cobain agreed to release "Come as You Are" as the second single because of its commercial potential. Killing Joke were upset over the song, and there were rumors that a lawsuit had been filed over the song, though the suit never materialized. Killing Joke guitarist Geordie Walker was said to be upset about the whole situation, and he felt that Nirvana (which according to Walker denied the connection between the songs) handled the matter poorly. Similarities between "Come as You Are" and "Life Goes On" by The Damned have also been noted.
The music video for "Come as You Are" was directed by Kevin Kerslake, who drew inspiration for it from the cover artwork of Nevermind. Rolling Stone ranked "Come as You Are" 445th on its list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time", and it placed 452nd on the 2010 edition of the list.
"Come as You Are" was one of the few new songs Nirvana recorded onto the rehearsal tape the group sent to producer Butch Vig prior to the recording of Nevermind in 1991. The group recorded the song with Vig during album sessions at Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, California, in early 1991. Cobain recorded his guitar solo in two takes, as well as three takes of vocals, of which the first was used. Vig then asked Cobain to double track his vocals throughout the entire song. During the harmony overdub session, Cobain accidentally sang the phrase "And I don't have a gun" too early, appearing the fourth time he sings the word "memoria" after the guitar solo. When this mistake was discovered, Cobain decided to keep it in the final recording. Vig sampled Cobain singing "memoria" from the middle of the song and placed it in the background of the song near the end twice. The band also performed an acoustic version of the song on MTV Unplugged on November 18, 1993. The recording later appeared on MTV Unplugged in New York in November 1994.
The origin of the song's title is unclear, but Charles R. Cross speculated the song may have been named after a motto used by the Morck Hotel in Cobain's hometown of Aberdeen, Washington. The Morck was one of many places Cobain stayed in after leaving home for a time while he was seventeen years old.

Nirvana Come As You Are Lyrics:
Come as you are, as you were
As I want you to be
As a friend, as a friend
As an old enemy
Take your time, hurry up
Choice is yours, don't be late
Take a rest as a friend
As an old
Memoria, memoria
Memoria, memoria
Come doused in mud, soaked in bleach
As I want you to be
As a trend, as a friend
As an old
Memoria, memoria
Memoria, memoria
And I swear that I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun
Memoria, memoria
Memoria, memoria
(No I don't have a gun)
And I swear that I don't have a gun
No I don't have a gun
No I don't have a gun
No I don't have a gun
No I don't have a gun

Jamiroquai Deeper Underground Lyrics:
Yeah, you know they're gonna bring it down now
They're gonna wreck it down, yeah
Something's come to rock me
And I can't keep my head
I get nervous in the New York City streets
Where my legacy treads
I know I'm better off standin' in the shadows
Far from humans with guns
But now it's too late, there's no escape
From what they have done, come on
I'm goin' deeper underground
There's too much panic in this town
I'm goin' deeper underground
There's too much panic in this town
I'm goin' deeper underground
Well, I got to go deeper
Got to go much deeper, yeah
Ah, yeah, they're gonna wreck it down, yeah
Step do-down, down, down, hey, hey
Yeah, we're gonna bring it down, yeah
Some people with a pocket full of money
And an eye full of hate
Take out pleasure in destruction
Of the very thing that they try to create
Somebody tell me why does all mankind
Hold their temper and touch
Have a habit where they bite off more than they can chew
And now it's too much
I'm goin' deeper underground, hey, ah
There's too much panic in this town
I'm goin' deeper underground
There's too much panic in this town
I'm goin' deeper underground
There's too much panic in this town
I'm goin', I'm goin', I'm goin' deeper underground
I'm goin', I'm goin', I'm goin' deeper underground
I'm goin', I'm goin', I'm goin' deeper underground
I'm goin', I'm goin', I'm goin' deeper underground
Something's come to rock me
And I can't keep my head
I get nervous in the New York City streets
Where my legacy treads
I know I'm7 better off standin' in the shadows
Far from humans with guns
But now it's too late, there's no escape
From what they have done
I'm goin' deeper underground
There's too much panic in this town
I'm goin' deeper underground
I'm goin' deeper underground
(I'm goin', I'm goin', I'm goin', I'm goin')
I'm goin' deeper underground
(I'm goin', I'm goin', I'm goin', I'm goin')
I'm goin' deeper underground (got to go, got to deeper)
Deeper, deeper, yeah
I'm goin' deeper underground
(I'm goin', I'm goin', I'm goin')
Got to go deeper
I'm goin' deeper underground
I'm goin' deeper, gotta get down now
They're gonna bring it down, yeah
I'm goin' deeper underground (they're gonna bring it down now)
I'm goin' deeper underground

Nickelback - How You Remind Me - Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs
Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs of Nickelback's song How You Remind Me. The bass tab is for a 5 string bass in Standard Tuning.
Song: How You Remind Me
Artist: Nickelback
Album: Silver Side Up
Original Bassist: Mike Kroeger
Bass: @OfficialSpector Legend Classic 6 String
Strings: MTD Stainless Strings
Tuning: Standard Tuning (B E A D G)
"How You Remind Me" is a song by Canadian rock band Nickelback. Written by lead singer Chad Kroeger and composed by the band, the track was released on July 17, 2001, as the lead single from their third studio album, Silver Side Up (2001). A "Gold Mix" was made for latter editions of the single with the heavier guitars edited out of the chorus. Kroeger referred to this song as the song that put Nickelback on the map when played at their concert in Sturgis, South Dakota.
Considered to be Nickelback's signature song, "How You Remind Me" reached the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 and was named the number-one most played song on US radio of the 2000s decade by Nielsen Soundscan, being spun over 1.2 million times on US airwaves since its release in 2001 to the end of 2009. The song was ranked fourth on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the Decade and 75th on the UK decade-end chart. It was nominated for the Kerrang! Award for Best Single. "How You Remind Me" was also rated the number-one rock song and number-four alternative song of the decade of the 2000s by Billboard.
Lead singer Chad Kroeger had the first four lines of the song written in his black book of notes. One day he got into an argument with his then-girlfriend in their Vancouver apartment. He went to the basement, turned on his recording microphone, and started improvising and singing the song loudly, hoping she would get the message how upset he was. Instead, she told him it sounded great. "Somewhere between 45 minutes and an hour, I had the whole thing fleshed out: lyrics, melody, chords, the whole nine yards," he said.
He added, "It wasn’t supposed to be a vengeful anthem; it was supposed to be what it was. I think it always felt like that in the moment, because we just had an argument, and I felt like striking back. But I find it to be a sarcastic look at relationships. [Like the line] 'Are we having fun yet?' That’s full sarcasm."
Kroeger brought a skeleton version of the song to his band as a last-minute addition a week before they were to start recording Silver Side Up, and they worked on the song together.

Nickelback How You Remind Me Lyrics:
Never made it as a wise man
I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealing
Tired of living like a blind man
I'm sick of sight without a sense of feeling
And this is how you remind me
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
It's not like you to say "Sorry"
I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken
For handing you a heart worth breaking
And I've been wrong, I've been down
Been to the bottom of every bottle
These five words in my head
Scream "Are we having fun yet?"
Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no
Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no
It's not like you didn't know that
I said, "I love you, " and I swear, I still do
And it must have been so bad
'Cause living with me must have damn near killed you
And this is how you remind me
Of what I really am
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
It's not like you to say "Sorry"
I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken
For handing you a heart worth breaking
And I've been wrong, I've been down
Been to the bottom of every bottle
These five words in my head
Scream "Are we having fun yet?"
Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no
Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no
Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no
Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no

Nirvana - Heart-Shaped Box - Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs
Bass Cover with Play Along Tabs of Nirvana's song Heart-Shaped Box. The tab is for a 4 string bass in Drop D Flat Tuning.
Song: Heart-Shaped Box
Artist: Nirvana
Album: In Utero
Original Bassist: Krist Novoselic
Bass: Custom Jazz Bass
Tuning: Drop D Flat (Db Ab Db Gb)
"Heart-Shaped Box" is a song by American rock band Nirvana, written by vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain. It was released as the lead single from Nirvana's third and final studio album, In Utero, in August 1993, and appears as the third track.
Though Nirvana's record company DGC Records did not release a physical single in the United States, fearing it might damage album sales, "Heart-Shaped Box" received much American radio airplay, reaching number one on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. The single made the top 10 in several countries, including Portugal, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland and New Zealand, and the top 40 in numerous other countries. The music video, directed by Anton Corbijn, garnered critical plaudits, and won two awards, including Best Alternative Video at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1994. "Heart-Shaped Box" was the last song Cobain performed live with Nirvana, on March 1, 1994, in Munich, Germany.
Kurt Cobain wrote "Heart-Shaped Box" in early 1992. Cobain forgot about the song for a while, but began working on it again when he and his wife, Courtney Love, moved to a house in the Hollywood Hills. In a 1994 Rolling Stone interview, Love said she overheard him working on the song's riff in a closet. She said she asked him if she could use the riff for one of her songs, to which he replied "Fuck you!" and closed the closet door. The couple shared a journal in which they would write lyrics; Cobain biographer Charles R. Cross noted that Love's songwriting sensibility informed Cobain's on the song. The song's name came from a heart-shaped box Love had given Cobain. However, Cobain had originally titled the song "Heart-Shaped Coffin".
Nirvana had difficulty completing the song. Cobain attempted to have the rest of the band complete the song during jam sessions. He said, "I was trying to wait for [bassist Krist Novoselic] and [drummer Dave Grohl] to come up with something but it just turned into noise all the time." Cobain made one last attempt at completing the song; he was able to come up with a vocal melody and the band finally finished writing the song. Cobain said that when they completed "Heart-Shaped Box", "We finally realized that it was a good song."
In January 1993, the band recorded a demo of "Heart-Shaped Box" during sessions with Craig Montgomery in the BMG Ariola studios in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; it was the first song recorded. The In Utero version was recorded in February 1993 by Steve Albini in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Prior to the album's release, the track was remixed by Scott Litt. Cobain was unapologetic about the band's decision to remix it, and maintained that the vocals and bass were not prominent enough in the original mixes. Novoselic was also unhappy with the original mix of "Heart-Shaped Box". When the song was remixed by Litt, Cobain took the opportunity to add acoustic guitar and vocal harmonies.
Cobain said that the chorus of "Hey / Wait/ I've got a new complaint" was an example of how he was perceived by the media.

I've been locked inside your heart-shaped box for weeks
I've been drawn into your magnet tar pit trap

Forever in debt to your priceless advice

Cut myself on angel hair and baby's breath
Broken hymen of Your Highness, I'm left black
Throw down your umbilical noose so I can climb right back
