Discraft Zone GT Putter Golf Disc 2-Disc Test Flight Battle Pack - https://discs.biz/discraft-zone-gt-battle-pack/ PART ONE of ( not sure yet ) I am testing out the discraft zone gt battle pack. ( complete stats further down ) I bought 2 sets of them so I have two of the zone ringer gt discs and two of the zone banger gt discs. GT stands for groove top. My personal favorite putter is actually the original ringer gt. I like that it has a groove top AND a bottom bead. It is the best putter in 5500+ ft high elevation with wind gusts like I have here in Northern Nevada. I compared " 18 rounds" of throws to see which disc ended up as the CTP winner. Each disc was thrown once per round for a total of 72 total test throws with the 4 test run discs. CTP stands for closest to pin ( closest to the basket but we are stuck in ball golf terms for some reason ). Here are the overall stats, round by round. https://discs.biz - Here is part 4 and happy to say it ended on a good note. Took a couple tries Took one off the top of the basket Took one to railslide the basket "tickling" the chains Took one to slam right into the chains and STICK this time lol. I haven't had the best of luck with the envy. It can glide for days BUT it can be finicky in my wind and elevation compared to other approach shot discs I am testing. I have mainly putters that I am running since my property is at it furthest distance around 330' long. The longer throwing discs that I am testing here still is the buzzz, envy and a few other throwers versus solid putters. Now on the putters, I have a ton of different putters from most brands that are around atm. I will soon start adding the disc to the screen during the shot and get some actual audio going. Since I do not have an external mic on, not really trying to yell into the action camera lol. don@discs.biz

https://discs.biz - Here is part 2 of my disc golf practice session. I really need to separate my understable and stable discs. You can see when an understable one is thrown. I have to put it on so much hyzer and it will still turn over on me. I need to work on my arm speed and spin so I can slow it down and get a decent flight out of them. Right now sitting in the 5500+ foot elevation btw Beating in very overstable discs is a must BUT can't wait to test them at lower elevation one of these days. don@discs.biz

https://discs.biz Working on some high hyzer disc golf approach shots. I need to grab one more basket and then I will be able to get a longer basket shot ( need more cams for sure ). Hoping to end up with a putting basket, an approach basket and two distance baskets to practice on. I only have 2 1/4 acres but once I add mandos and other items like trees and ob spots ( hoping to keep all discs on my property and not my neighbors, so far I am 100% and want to keep it that way ). don@discs.biz

https://discs.biz - Decent approach shot practice. Had a solid disc slip ( wet from snow ) and line drive straight into the yellow basket ( I was aiming for the green one 200+ feet away lol ). It did end up kicking out ( d'oh ) but man was that funny to watch, well hell I just laughed at myself as it was zoomin towards the basket dead set in front of me at about 60 feet away. I have a couple disc golf towels that I am testing out. Should have had them out but then again, wouldn't have gotten to enjoy that funny shot. Want to see which will work best in mud, rain, snow and whatever else random weather appears this winter for me. I like to play in the winter, whether it is snowing or not and would take that over playing in the summer time around july/august time. As long as you can keep your throwing hand from getting too frozen, it really helps with keeping yourself cool when practicing your disc golf shots. https://discs.biz - The zone ringer gt is hands down the winner in this battle pack. The ringer gt is my keeper putter here in northern nevada. We have crazy wind and the groove top on top and the bead on bottom tames the disc far more than any other molds. You will see the zone ringer gt ring off of my axiom basket in this video. I am for the ringer version instead of the banger. I don't see the zone/banger gt making anyone's bag unless it was for video content. The banger is solid for putting but when you add that zone rim. eh... I really want the groove top AND the bottom bead when it comes to the putt and approach disc in high elevation that comes with snow, wind and random wind gusts. I have put both of them in my putt and approach tests. You will see the zone ringer gt is orange and CLANGS off of the yellow axiom disc golf basket. The zone banger gt is a blue disc. It flies solid but the top of the disc is very unique. I didn't find it comfortable to throw forehand or backhand. It was a unique feel but the banger mold is perfect for putting situations versus the mold I can see the zone/ringer fitting the mold of. The banger is not fun to throw forehand, the ringer can be thrown forehand and back hand easily. Have you tested out the discraft zone gt battle pack out? https://discs.biz Celebrated thanksgiving early and had to play a little disc golf. Well I had to do some putt and approach practice rather than playing a round of disc golf. This was my first throw after throwing to the yellow basket. I like to throw discs back and forth trying different shot angles based on the wind. One basket it higher elevation and the wind is drastically different depending on which basket I am throwing to. Great for disc golf practice shots. Still dialing in my cam angles and will see where they wind up.
