We head to Orange County and meet up with some family to check out the famous San Juan Capistrano Mission.

Thought I'd share this quick clip of some entertaining janitors we met on one of our trips to Knott's.

We assemble a simple toddler chair my wife picked up from IKEA. Hang out while I put it together and maybe learn a few tips to save yourself some time on your own assembly. The name of the chair is Ingot. I tried to find one on Amazon but didn't see it and I'm not sure if they are still at IKEA.

In this video I take an old kitchen table and show you a process to refinish. I was able to have some fun and be a little creative to produce a wood like finish by using color and stain to fake the look of wood.

We went to see the Christmas Decorations at Knott's and first, we rode our favorite ride.

We went over to Knotts so we can check out the new Christmas decorations. Here's a short clip of our visit to Santa's Christmas Cabin and meeting Santa Snoopy.

We try out some of the food at Knott's. I've never had frog legs and got a chance to try them out.

I cut this short clip out of a longer video I made. I give some tips about how to paint a raised panel door using a brush to help you achieve professional results on your doors when using a brush.

Here's a clip of our trip to Knott's Berry Farm and we rode the Calico Mine ride to experience the candy theme for the last time until next year. I didn't use my gopro this time and the footage turned out much better.

We had a fun hike at Three Sisters Reserve in Palos Verdes. Beautiful Views, with quite a bit of incline. We end up catching a few Pokemon as well

I wanted to have some fun and compare finishes between a brush and a roller to see what looks better.

I'm in the process of refinishing a dining table and chairs and thought I'd share a quick video with a few tips on sanding and prep for painting. My first priority is always adhesion and longevity. Without that, the finish and looks mean very little if they don't last.

Here I demonstrate painting a door using a roller. We grab some Behr semi-gloss and make our door beautiful. We cover some of the techniques involved, getting your paint ready and a few other tips to make your painting easy. I took the family down to the Greek Festival in Long Beach, CA to check out what they had going on. We heard some authentic music, tried some Greek beer, and of course sampled some of the delicious food.

We diverted from our usual coastal hikes to this place that was a little more inland. This turned into a beautiful hike with lots of views, plants and wildlife.

My Daughter wants to be Gary from Spongebob for Halloween. We made the shell and I teach her how to paint. I'll make a video of the full build when it's done.

We go over the process of refinishing a couple of pieces of furniture. I was originally going to paint these tables but decided to switch back to stain, but with a faux finish. I plan to start making more of these how-to videos to give you all some ideas and skills for any projects you may have or if you enjoy watching DIY videos.
