Video takes place at the Aroostook State Park of us hiking up to the North Peak of Quaggy Jo Mountain. The state park is a great place to hang out for the day or to spend the weekend. They offer camping, hiking, fishing, and more.

This little guy was on my truck while camping, but I have never seen one like it before. I think it is some type of wasp which is not a stinging type. Let me know in the comments below!!

Video of our food plot preparation for the 2021 Deer Season. This is hard work to help manage the herd so we have a healthy population of deer. In the past the herd didn't have many quality bucks but now we are seeing bigger deer every year with at least one trophy buck harvested. We do not take anything younger than 2.5 years old (yes we ask for ID before shooting haha).

Did some brook fishing for trout but didn’t have a ton of success. Caught a few at two brooks I hadn’t fished in a while and was nice to get out for some exercise. This video is from a severe storm in March. We had a doctors appointment but cancelled it due to how bad the weather was getting. Video takes place from Caribou Maine to just outside of Presque Isle Maine. I added the scanner traffic so you can get the impact of how quickly things turned as we were driving along.

#Hunting #Funny Am I a bad shot or was this partridge really lucky or wearing body armor? This video demonstrates how important it is to get in some range time with ALL your weapons. Hope you get a good laugh out of my bad shooting.

Had some rough waves while fishing on Long Lake in Sinclair Maine. We were after trout and salmon, but after launching the winds picked up which made for some interesting fishing. I did manage to catch a few perch, but then we retreated back to shore as the lake got rougher.

A short video from last fall of a dragonfly visit in my truck. I was hunting on one of dad and my favorite hunting roads when this little guy flew in. Didn’t think much of it at the time, but then someone told me dragonflies can be a symbol of a loved one who has passed visiting you. I would really like to think this was true since this occurred at one of dads on this particular road during the annual bird hunting trip he loved so much.

This black bear encounter was from a few years ago when my buddy, Kendell, and I were out doing a spring coyote hunt. We were safe inside a side by side ATV and wanted to see how close the bear would get. DO NOT TRY THIS IF NOT IN A SAFE SPOT.

The Northern Maine Woods is a wonderful place to visit for camping, fishing, hunting, and more. This isn't a spectacular video but one I hope demonstrates how quickly a trip can get hairy lol. To avoid this, make sure to carry a MURS radio so you can stay tuned to truck traffic or a CB if in an area not using MURS. Also I did not intentionally dust the driver as we had to get out of his way quickly and there was no room for me to move over due to steep embankment and well no shoulder. Here are some dangers to be alert for: 1. Logging trucks. They have the right of way and some drive very fast for the tonnage they are hauling, sometimes running stop signs or going around curves in the opposite lane. 2. Dust. If the year has been dry, the dust kicked up by vehicles is one of the more dangerous hazards. It is this, heavy, and blocks your vision. We have almost been hit many times by other vehicles in this dust. 3. Shale. Shale is the worst thing for your tires. Make sure you have the appropriate off road tires with enough ply to handle the road. Carry at least two spares when driving up here since it is a far distance to a garage to change out your flats. 4. Moose Yep Moose. You would be surprised at how fast they can come out of the trees and if you are unlucky enough to hit one, it can total your car or worse, kill you.

This video is in memory of my dad who loved partridge hunting. The video was taken in 2019 of myself using dads shotgun due to him being to ill to go on our annual trip. If I would have know he would pass away the following month, I would have never gone so I could have spent more time with him.
