Prejudice equals Injustice
If we reject all pre-judgment from the very core of being, silence every internal voice of bigotry, and choose to value all of humanity then we will be an instrument of justice! My definition of justice is "power used for the good of others." If we choose the dirty banks of prejudice we will become a part of the problem rather than the solution. We must choose today what type of person we want to become.

We are 99.9% Identical
Most of my life I was overwhelmed by the prejudice I witnesses in our world, which led to my writing Unmasking Prejudice: Silencing the Internal Voice of Bigotry book. My mind could not wrap itself around pre-judgment, stereotyping, and biases that devalued another human being. Then and now I am motivated to see all of humanity valued. I may never see it in my lifetime, but I can plant seeds to show everyone I meet, who is 99.9 identical to me, that they hold great value!

To value or not to value? That is the question.
Just because something is culturally tolerated does not make it right, because it is the loudest doesn't make it true, or because it's all we've every know doesn't make it beneficial. Injustice, abuse of power, prejudice, and the thought that a human being can be "owned" by another is inherently wrong. Either we will conform to the majority or courageously take a stand and herald a voice for what is right, just, and pure. We may not be able to change the world but we can decide who we want to be in our world and contribute unreservedly in valuing ways.

The Power of Empathy
Our human propensity is to be critical of what we do not understand, but when we make a focused effort to connect and relate with what another feels and how they perceive a particular situation they will know they are valued by us. When we can see from another's perspective it will reveal our compassion, understanding, and our desire to identify with them.
