Who's Raising YOUR Kids? (Importance of Discipling your Kids)
In this conversation, we discuss what a disciple is and why the Bible tells us it’s important - not just for us, but also for our children. We believe the Word of God tells us that we are given our children as a gift and stewarding them well includes teaching them the way and words of Jesus. Discipling your kids is a life-long journey that points them to God and gives them a strong foundation in who He is in their lives.
Biblical references:
John 15:7-8
John 10:27
Deut. 6:5-7
2 Timothy 3:14-15

Who are We Anyway? - Part 2 (Pierre's Origin Story)
In this conversation on the Strike the Ground podcast, Pierre walks us through his story and some of the important facets of his life that have shaped him into who he is today. We talk about his family history and how he’s been able to find new perspective on where he is in his life by way of an ancestry search, his family history in the military and even the college years where he befriended Nabeel Qureshi, who went on to author “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus”, an amazing story about a devout Muslim finding and encountering Christianity and Jesus. We discuss the incredible ways God has set up our lives to the very last detail that brings us to where we are and how those movements seemingly unimportant at the time, can be absolutely life changing.

HOW DID WE GET HERE? [Our Podcast Origin Story]
Join us for a conversation where we cover the origin story of our podcast’s name and purpose. We answer the questions about why are we doing this and why we feel it’s important for millennials to listen to and have these conversations also. God led us to this place without realizing either one of us knew it, and it’s a beautiful testimony to His goodness.
In this episode, you’ll see how 2 Kings 13:14-19 where God has revealed to us through this story involving Elisha and how it has shaped our purpose and legacy for this podcast. We also reference Daniel 4:28-37, where King Nebuchadnezzar goes mad and lives like an animal for some time, and in the end, God restores his majesty and splendor (v. 36). This is an amazing example of God’s mercy! Additionally, the reference James 4:2, concludes with the text “…You do not have because you do not ask [it of God]” to help you understand that although God is not a wishing well, He still expects us to petition Him for our needs.

Where SHOULD you find your identity - Strike the Ground Podcast
Millennials are faced with an identity problem. We’re pulled in all directions telling us who we are or who we should be, and instead of seeking God to find our identity, we get caught up in the distractions around us from our peers or social media to tv and movies. In this episode we discuss some of these issues and how to realign ourselves with who God says we are that we are created in His image (Genesis 1:27).

The Importance of Legacy - Strike the Ground Podcast
Have you ever thought about your legacy? Do you think of it in terms of recognition after you’ve died? We believe that it’s important for every person to evaluate their legacy in terms of today. How are you living your life or making choices each day? If you find that your life may or may not line up with God’s plan/design for your life, I would encourage you to read the Bible. Understand the command God gave to Adam in Genesis 1:28 to be fruitful and multiply. This goes beyond making babies. The fruitfulness comes with aligning yourself to God’s command through your actions and life and seeing that the fruit lines up with the Word of God. Come join us for more conversations and check us out on other social media platforms.
