100 New Structures! Game Changer for Minecraft Java 1.10 and 1.11! Tyruswoo Minecraft
Hey Minecrafters!
Today I introduce to you a new machine, the Game Changer for Minecraft! This creation uses command blocks, structure blocks, and redstone to change how Minecraft works! The Game Changer features the Structure Generator, which allows players to have their own structures randomly generate in the world. The Game Changer also includes bonus features, such as the ability to add hyperspeed rails and change how health and beds work! But the main game changing feature is the Structure Generator.
Download the Game Changer here:
https://www.tyruswoo.com/minecraft/game-changer/game-changer-for-minecraft-1-10-and-1-11/
To download, you must join my website:
https://www.tyruswoo.com/join/free/
As you explore your world, let the Tyruswoo Structure Generator automatically place around your world copies of the structures you’ve created! With this Structure Generator, you can take your Minecraft experience to a new level! Now supports up to 500 structures!
The downloads include not just the Tyruswoo Structure Generator, but also 100 bonus structures already loaded into the machine, to find generating in your world!
The 100 example structures include large veins of ore, ruins of former inhabitants, and new dungeons! Polar bear caves, wolf caves, and mushroom caves, and the bones of huge beasts! Also beware the bandits in the wilderness, and sky pirates in their airships! Floating islands, overrun castles, terrifying obsidian towers, giant trees, and more! And beware miners, for if you mine too deep, you may awake the anger of the nether dwellers, and the Wither itself!
You can also make your own structures, place their Load blocks into the machine, and generate your own structures as you travel around your world!
Builders for the 100 example structures include Tyruswoo, Shompta, and McKathlin.
Special thanks to emeraldfyr3!
Special thanks also to Sparks, the creator of Gamemode 4, for helping me figure out how to reduce lag!
Have fun exploring the structures! And if you want, make your own structure pack to use with the Game Changer!
Remember, only you can build your dreams!

How to Load HUGE Structures In One Structure Block! Minecraft Java 1.11.2! Tyruswoo Minecraft
Hey Minecraft Engineers!
Using the Nested Structures technique, we can compact even HUGE structures into just a single structure block!
There is no longer any need to be limited by the 32x32x32 maximum volume of a structure block. Make structures that are any size you want, and store them (nested) within a single structure block!
Redstone for Nested Structures:
Nested structures were originally made possible with the introduction of structure blocks in Minecraft 1.10. The following video was made in Minecraft 1.11 and shows how to use this technique to compress enormous structures into a single structure load block!
Observers for Nested Structures:
Update: May 4, 2017
Observer blocks offer a great alternative to the ways we link nested structures together! Check out my website to see how to create nested structures using observer blocks:
https://www.tyruswoo.com/minecraft/game-changer/how-to-load-huge-structures-in-one-structure-block/
Functions for Nested Structures:
There is another even more bug-free way to link nested structures.
The bug that most commonly occurs with nested structures, beginning in about Minecraft 1.14 and onward, especially with large nested structures, is this: Sometimes a structure block and command block will get placed, but then not activated when the observer block is placed! Ick! That’s a gross bug!
Functions avoid this bug by containing all information to both place a structure block and load the structure block, all within one function, all contained in a single command block. That way, if the command block appears at all, it will run the function, which also erases itself, eliminating the evidence of our nested structures loading magic.
I use the function managed nested structures technique to spawn large and complex structures for the Game Changer, including structures such as the Crypt. Without using functions for nested structures, the Crypt would leave creative-only blocks scattered around the survival experience.
How to Make Function Managed Nested Structures:
1. For function managed nested structures to work, a function must be prepared for each structure to be placed. The function should do the following:
- Place a structure block (with data containing the structure name and relative coordinates).
- Use a redstone block to load the structure block.
- Clean up: Erase the structure block, command block, and redstone block.
- Here is an example command for placing a structure block with data inside (as of Minecraft 1.16 command syntax).
setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:structure_block{name:”tyruswoo:crypt/udnesw”,mode:”LOAD”,posX:-6,posY:0,posZ:-6}
Note the structure name, structure block being in load mode, and the structure’s coordinates relative to the structure block.
2. Inside the command block, type the command to run the associated function that will load the appropriate structure.
3. Make sure the command block is in “Always Active” mode, at the time when you same the structure piece.
- Caution: For this to not run the function while you are preparing the command block, make sure you build the structure pieces in a world that does not have the associated functions!
4. Save the structure pieces, including any pieces that have nested command blocks.
5. Transport the files to the world where you want the nested structures to generate, and be sure the functions are present in that world to run the command block’s associated function for linking the nested structures.
6. Once this is all complete, loading in the first structure piece will cause the always-active single-use (orange) command block to run the function as soon as the command block is placed (i.e. when the command block appears nested within the first structure piece).
7. Congrats! You have a nested structure using functions! This is the most bug-free way to make nested structures!
The results of this technique are excellent in that the same function can also erase the evidence, and there are never any bugs of creative-only blocks (structure blocks or command blocks) left behind unactivated. In function managed nested structures, observers and redstone torches are not needed.
Thanks for Your Help!
Thanks to all for the feedback on nested structures!

4-High Pegasus Portcullis Piston Gate! Minecraft Java 1.8.6! Tyruswoo Minecraft
Hey Redstone Engineers!
This video starts with a showcase of how to make an infinitely wide castle gate! Too huge for your castle!
Then, the tutorial shows how to make a 4 block high portcullis with this survival friendly design! I call it the 4-High Pegasus Portcullis Piston Gate. This gate is great for any base! Castles, walls, prisons, etc!
If you want a smaller portcullis, check out these alternatives that use the same design principles:

MiniBee Item Sorter and Silos! Minecraft Java 1.8.3! Tyruswoo Minecraft
Hey Minecrafters!
In this redstone tutorial, we will make the MiniBee Item Sorter, which is a complete storage system for your items! This item sorter includes overflow protection, inventory indicator lamps, vertical item transport, and an auto-furnace with auto-sorting.
This design is powerful enough for an awesome main base, and small enough to fit in the side of a base’s hallway, or in a mid-sized outpost! Bug free, as always!
The Mini-Bee Item Sorter uses features of some of my other designs, including:
Rattlesnake Item Sorter:
https://www.tyruswoo.com/minecraft/redstone/rattlesnake-item-sorter/

Flying Badger Item Elevator! Minecraft Java 1.7.9! Tyruswoo Minecraft
Hi Minecrafters!
In this redstone tutorial, we create an item elevator that I call the Flying Badger!
This item elevator is excellent for survival gameplay, and includes the following features:
- Input items at any height!
- Automatic item detection
- Infinite height expandable design
- Compact 3×4 footprint
- Cheap resource cost
- Decoration-friendly

Hey Minecrafters!
This is my first redstone tutorial, and shows how to build a fully automatic brewer! Features include ability to brew any potion, a manual on/off switch, sensing when ingredients are low or the product chest is full (prevents bugs!), and optional note blocks playing when potions are done!
This video first highlights the features of the machine, then shows a complete tutorial of how to build it, and then shows it in action!
This model is also known as the “Behemoth II” and is the upgraded version of my original Behemoth fully automatic brewer, which was made in survival for a no-health-regeneration world.

My First Redstone Build! Automatic Brewer, the Behemoth! Minecraft Java 1.7.4! Tyruswoo Minecraft
Hey Minecrafters!
This video showcases my entirely automatic brewing stand redstone machine. With just a switch of a lever, the brewing station brews basically endless potions!
The circuitry involved with the complete machine is reviewed in detail, including a modification of EthosLab’s hopper timer, a modification of the brewing station discussed by UnbreakingIngot, as well as my handy automatic-off mechanism that is triggered whenever potion ingredients run low! This machine always succeeds in brewing the potions correctly (no bugs!), with just the flip of a switch, allowing completion of other tasks at your base while potions brew automatically, with no fears of accidents or wasted resources!
This totally automatic brewing station was made in survival in a world with the Health Regeneration gamerule set to false (similar to “ultra hard core” gameplay), so healing items such as potions have a high value! After spotlighting the automated brewing stand, we also take a quick look around the starting area of the survival world, including the awesome savanna plateau mountain biome of this large biomes world!
The end of the video also shows a simple but very effective three-ingredient survival mode semi-automated brewing stand in a 3x4x1 area! Since it is so compact, it is easy to see how to build the compact semi-automatic brewing station for any survival world!
Special thanks go to EthosLab and UnbreakingIngot for their videos that were so much help for this project!
