KIM-1 Piano update
This is an update to my KIM-1 Piano.
In this video I have modified my bread board to include 2 - 8 push down button arrays.
I only had to modify my program by EORing all of the Port A inputs. by placing a 49 (EOR) FF at address 020F and 0210. Which I original had placed two NOPs (EA) in place, so that I would not have to number the entire program.
As you can see in this video, I built a new bread board to accommodate the 2 - 8 push button arrays and I had to use an alligator clip to wire my bread board, as there was no room for the ribbon cable.

KIM-1 Piano
This is a simple program that creates a different sound wave, depending on which key you press.
In this video I spend a fair amount of time explaining all of the unique issues that I ran into. In the hopes that I would be able to make everything about this program, perfectly clear.
So, it does run a little long, but hopefully I will have made every aspect of this program a little easier to understand.

Kim-1 Mini Program C
n this video we will go over the Mini Program C found in The First Book of KIM.
In this program we will be introduced to one of the built in subroutines, know as SCANDS, that is used to display our programed values on the 6 - 7 segment displays.
This short program has inspired me, to do something more then simply put some static numbers up on the displays,
So, first I started by simply incrementing the first two digits on the right from 0 - FF in Hex.
After that, I was able to convert this program to count in decimal, from 0 - 99 which took a lot more finessing to accomplish.

KIM-1 Tone Generator
This little project can be found in the KIM-1 Users Manual on Chapter 5.
It is a basic Tone Generator. We will briefly go over the circuit and the code that goes with it.
This is a fun little project to get you familiar with using the external PA port on the 6530-003 ROM-RAM-I/O Timer to communicate with peripheral devices.
