A video demonstration of making a primitive/pioneer/ or witch's broom. I used a common wild grass, sage grass aka broomsedge for the broom straw.

A great number of people in the southern U.S. know how to use this plant safely. Poke salat is a very tasty dish if it is properly prepared.

A video demonstration of making whisk brooms using needles from loblolly pine trees. I used 0.8 mm flat waxed braided leather stitching cord to stitch the brooms flat.
