Invicta Signature Series 7044 Review
In today's video, I take a look at Invicta's Signature Series Pro Diver with white dial and "Coke" bezel color scheme. This watch, reference 7044, is more than just a Pro Diver. To me, this is Invicta's Pro Diver as it should have been - original and unique. Dial, hands and markers are quite the departure from the subbie homage Pro Diver we are all familiar with.
Still, there are flaws - flaws I've noticed on my last two Invicta watches. Still, it's a sub $100 watch and must be judged against that outlay of capital. Is it worth the money? Is it better than the original Pro Diver. To find out, you'll have to Watch It!

Bulova Jet Star 96B401 Review
This new Bulova reaches back into the company's long and storied history for a design while employing the most up-to-date movement in their arsenal - the Precisionist!
Retro styling meets modern accuracy in this watch where the angular case, styled in emulation of an early 1970's model, is unique yet sedate. The Precisionist movement, accurate to a few seconds per year, is FINALLY placed into a case size even I can wear! At 40mm, it will fit most wrists - even my 6 1/2" one. This Jet Star is attractive, accurate and with the claret dial I chose a real style leader. There are three models available: a silver dial that is a numbered limited edition that comes with both bracelet and strap, a gold model that comes on a leather strap, and this one with the claret dial and bracelet.
But, mine was $595 as is the gold model. The limited edition model with silver dial is $695. Is it worth it? Is it any good? To find out, you'll have to Watch It!

Skagen Grenen Automatic SKW6863 Review
Watch enthusiasts are generally skeptical of a number of things. Two of those are Skagen watches and limited editions. This watch is both. I have several Skagen watches and think highly of their style. I like the Danish Modernist style...it's like a kindler, gentler Bauhaus! Limited editions are another matter and I just don't take notice of them.
In this case, my new Skagen Grenen (Reference SKW6863) is indeed a limited edition as Skagen watches are almost exclusively quartz powered yet this one has a completely serviceable Miyota automatic.
The "dark theme" is attractive and, although it has a 42mm case diameter, it plays much larger due to the "all dial" design.
I bought this on Amazon for $95. But is it a good value? Is it worth it? To find out, you'll have to Watch It!

Bulova Aerojet 96B374
The Bulova Aerojet Automatic (reference 96B374) is a new watch from Bulova that hearkens back to the Bulova watches in the 1960's when jet travel was coming into its own. Powered by a mechanical automatic movement, it features retro styling in a modern package.
But, is it a good watch? Does it offer value for money? We look at in detail!

Invicta Grand Diver 38mm Review
Anyone who has ever browsed Invicta watches is aware that they aren't just oversized watches. Invicta has watches in a plethora of sizes. In this case, Their Abalone dialed Grand Diver was offered in both 38mm and 47mm sizes.
As we look at this 38mm version, it's important to remember that the Grand Diver series are 300 meter divers rather than the 200m rating in the standard Pro Diver. The Abalone dial gives each watch it's own individuality. But, as we all know, every watch has advantages and disadvantages, plusses and minusses. How does this Invicta diver stack up? To find out, You'll have to Watch It!

Timex Expedition North Titanium Automatic Review
In this video review, I look at the Timex Expedition North Titanium Automatic. Timex has really upped their game with this all-titanium watch with sapphire crystal, 200 meters water resistance and a Miyota 8-series automatic mechanical movement that hacks and hand-winds. Yes, screw-down crown

Wolbrook Skindiver WT Review
Wolbrook is a revived brand. The original Wolbrook and sub-brand Douglas were based in the US, producing a variety of watch designs including aviation and diver watches. Then, in the 70's, they met the fate of many watch makers during the "quartz crisis".
The current Wolbrook is based in France and produces watches that hearken back to the designs of the Wolbrook/Douglas in the 60's and 70's. This includes the Skindiver WT or Worldtimer. They offer watches in both mechanical automatic and mecaquartz configurations.
Are they any good? Are they good value? Did mine meet my expectations? To find out, you'll have to Watch It!
