Go all in on your strengths. Motivation stems from “what is in it for me.” Typically it is monetary and passion that is in it for people. When your passion dwindles then your financial aspirations will kick in and help you keep going. Alternatively, when financial aspirations dwindle then your passion will keep you going.

There are 4 major categories that influence change. Friends, Family, Society, and Media. The family structure has a great impact on how people think and act. As the say goes, an apple doesn’t fall too far away from the tree. Friends provide a great amount of influence on status and trends. Society in general such as work, trips, random encounters, community circles, education and various other day to day life activities shape a persons understanding of goals. Lastly, media such as social media, news networks, television, streaming services, and any other digital aspect of media primarily impacts the way people see beauty and success.
Behind all transformations is communication. Media, friends, family, societal aspects are all forms of communication. When a person listens to the radio they are getting communication. When people see things on media outlets, whether the sound is turned on or off, the imagery give communicating with them. Friends and family are a no brainer, they are a primary communication source too.

There is nothing stopping people from having a board of directors in their life. Companies have boards to help them make great decisions and stay on track. This is the hidden secret that people often overlook. By having your own board of directors in your own life, it will help make better decisions to stay on course. Ultimately, you are the CEO of your life. You make the final decision but having a board of directors sure does put things into focus.
Take 3-5 people in your life that you trust enough to share your thoughts with. Consider them your board of directors. Create the board of directors with different strengths such as finance, motivation, communication, society, technology, economics, etc. By having a diverse group of people on your board they will collectively provide a holistic view into your decisions.
Try to bring a person onto your board of directors that you know will disagree with you. If they keep it cordial and healthy then they will bring about a lot of aspects to discussions that might get overlooked. Not everything needs to go through the board, but things like career changes, buying a house, relocating to a different state would be all things I would consider bringing up to the board of directors.
It is super important to have monthly or quarterly meetings with your board of directors to keep the rapport and relationships happy. If circumstances change or people end up not being a great fit for your board of directors for your life, then make that executive decisions and replace them with someone else.

Don’t throw away a free service, people get paid to be consultants in life. Think of it as if the people around you are like consultants, but free. Find out what it is that you want to do in life. Once you narrow that down, identify the people who are successful in your goals. Start asking questions and map out how to get there. If a person is going to a new location for the first time they will likely use a GPS to tell them how to get there. People are like a GPS on how to get to your destination. If people are successful in the things you aspire to be, ask them for directions and their guidance will help you get there.

Qualitative vs Quantitative People and The Differences #GoldMinds
There are two types of people, the quantitative and qualitative person. The quantitative person wants to get from point A to point B. Whereas, the qualitative person wants to put 100% effort into everything they are doing.
The quantitative person will achieve imperfect results. They will get a product to completion, but that product might not be satisfactory. On the other hand, the qualitative person will achieve really great results, but it will take forever. They will likely be slow to produce results because they get bogged down in the details. They over analyze and get into a state of paralysis through analysis.
When quantitative people are mixed with qualitative people, that is when synergy occurs. The quantitative person will push the qualitative person to move faster and sacrifice some quality to get to the finish line. Similarly, the qualitative person will push the quantitative person to put in more effort into their work and slow down. They both win at the end of the day.
As people mature throughout life they sometimes switch. It is important to understand that people always change and it is impossible to put someone inside of a box and conclude on what they are or are not. On a case-by-case basis, a person can flow in and out of qualitative and quantitative perspectives.
