Leak down test with intake removed
This clip shows the leak coming out of the #6 head intake port - with no pressure from the lifter because I backed off the rocker nut as demonstrated by the movement of the push rod where there is no tension whatsoever... This would mean the valve should be fully closed due to the spring closing it. - Yes, the needle on the right is off it's mark, but it does work and shows air flow and pressure loss when the air flow is turned off. In the last few seconds of the clip I point to the lifters to demonstrate that both were in their lowest position - where the valves would not be pushed open, but rather the leak you hear is when the valves should both be completely closed and no air escaping from the cylinder.

Bent intake valve in drill to show wobble
This is the #6 intake valve that I put in my drill to rotate fast enough to show the wobble.

Rockers doing their thing, but not passing oil
In this video I took off the valve cover so I could see if the valves were doing their thing... I previously did a compression test and found that #6 cylinder had very little compression - 46psi, when the other 7 cylinders had between 120 and 125 psi. Along with the ticking/clattering of the engine, this told me that there was a bent valve or a valve stuck open. So I took the valve cover off and started the engine. They were all opening and closing and not ticking from loose rockers, therefore the clattering had to be deeper in the engine. Also, I noted that there was very little oil coming through some of the push rods - especially #6 and #4 cylinders - which appears nearly dry. While #8 and #2 cylinders has the appropriate rate of flow.

Leak down test shows intake valve leaking
In this video I show how a bent valve is indicated by a shop towel fluttering in the air flow of the intake port of the engine head by pumping air through the spark plug hole via a leak down test. -- I misspoke in the audio when I said all the lash was out... What I meant was the opposite - I'd loosened the rocker so there was no lash adjustment to hold pressure from the push rod against the rocker.
