Cows hate soggy meadows with little grass. The grass and soil must be in good condition. If it is too wet, the cows will trample on the ground, so the grass will be unable to grow and the cows will be unable to graze as a result.

Despite the common picture of meadows and cows, the cows do not spend their day outside. Outdoor grazing begins on the first day of spring each year, weather permitting. We allow dairy farmers to graze their cows in the meadow 120 days a year. They have complete control over which days, hours, and lengths of time the cows spend outside.

They adore the water! Ducks are also known as "waterfowl" birds because they prefer to live near water, such as marshes, seas, rivers, wetlands, and lakes. This is due to ducks' fondness for water. Ducks can live from two to twelve years, depending on the species.
