We are going to review that topic today tune in let's get started all right guys. So i have heard many times that people are saying that, oh, what you're saying is be ass. Just drink water, you'll, be fine! Well, guess what i am so glad that they're. Not my doctor! Oh thank god, because if you drink water well couple things can happen. You can drown yourself because your sugar is not going to come down by drinking water. Secondly, drinking water will help you yeah. It will because if your sugar goes up, guess what happens? Let's. Talk about physiology here, i'm, not trying to be cocky here, but i'm trying to teach those people who think that they know and writing comments trying to mislead people. Don't do that don't. Do that because if you're, not a doctor, if you did not study this and you just read something on google somewhere does not make you an authority. So, even when i say things, i always tell you guys, i say: discuss with your doctor: don't just take my word and try to apply. No, i am giving you ideas, ideas that are backed up by science and research. So i'm, not just talking from my gut and you do the same thing that will help a lot of other people. You want to help other people just talk if you know exactly what you're talking about all right, so water water is a good thing, but there is really no evidence that the water will bring your blood sugar down. Is that good, for you not really totally wrong totally wrong, so you should not be living on a saturated fat diet and keep your blood sugar down, because that is going to destroy your blood vessels and arteries. And you're, going to end up having from dying from a heart attack or stroke with the very nice blood sugars. There you have it now. You can definitely change your diet, but i think i do not recommend, like those extreme diets where you cut all the carbs out of your life. That is not maintainable, but definitely there are a lot of people who are addicted to sodas. There are a lot of people who are into the bread they're ready to rise, culturally, whatever it is. We're, not even thinking about before now you start thinking about it and you're gonna realize your blood sugar will be dramatically different by the time you get diabetes. You lose around 70 80 percent of your insulin production capacity. The cells that produce insulin are gone, so people think that they're going into remission because they're, cutting the carbs completely it's like saying oh well, i'm, not rich, because i'm: not spending any money. Well, that's, not gonna last too long right, you're gonna end up needing stuff. So just like that, you cannot just cut the carbs and say: oh, my diabetes has suddenly disappeared. The second thing is, you have to make sure you use aggressive methods to bring your blood sugar down, because when your blood sugars are so high, your pancreatic beta cells, which are the insulin producing cells, are struggling to make any insulin it's. Linda here are 10 tips that will help you control your sister-in-law. I mean diabetes. Number one know your numbers, your blood sugar numbers are some of the most important numbers that you need to know in your life, on par with your social security number and your online banking pin seriously. You cannot just keep resetting that you're, going to have to write it down somewhere. Eventually, continuous glucose monitoring systems like dexcom or libre, can be a big help when it comes to keeping tabs on your blood sugar by the way that's, not sponsored at all. You cannot just replace it like you're like your first car or your first relationship as a diabetic. You want to see your doctor at least every three months at a minimum for things like a1c checks and kidney function, tests and so forth. Regular screenings and the lab work will give you a better understanding of how the current state of your health and it can help you manage your diabetes and maybe even reduce your number of medications. So wouldn't that be great just to have at least one thing under control in life number 10 get a care plan, work with endocrinologists to identify problems and find solutions. Now, your body, your diabetes, are going to change over time. It's called getting older and it's happening to literally everyone in the world except rublo. Aging brings new problems along with it, and it means you will have to constantly find new ways to manage your diabetes. Your endocrinologist is the best person to help you with it.
