Raids
Legendary Raids: Moltres, Thundurus (Incarnate Forme), and Xerneas will rotate through five-star raids.
Mega Raids: Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Kangaskhan, and Mega Salamence will be available in Mega Raids.
Shadow Raids: Shadow Suicune will appear every weekend.
Spotlight Hours
Every Tuesday from 6-7 PM local time, a featured Pokemon will have increased spawn rates and a bonus, such as double catch XP or candy.
Adventure Week
From August 2-12, rock and ground-type Pokemon will be more common, and fossil Pokemon will hatch from 7km eggs. There will also be increased shiny odds, extra XP, and special research.
Team Go Rocket Takeover

Game Informer: The Final Chapter
In a heartfelt and unexpected twist, a former Game Informer staffer has taken to social media to post what they consider a "genuine goodbye" following the magazine’s abrupt closure last week after 33 years of dedicated service to the gaming community. The new message, which stands in stark contrast to the official farewell issued on August 2, implies that the previous message wasn't penned by anyone from the magazine's team. The post ends with the touching words of former editor-in-chief Matt Miller: "Be well. Play well." Accompanied by images of the masthead from the unfinished issue 368, this post honors the legacy and the people who poured their hearts into making Game Informer a cornerstone of video game journalism.
Amidst the shocking closure by GameStop, which has sparked speculation and controversy, including allegations of using AI to draft the official farewell, this genuine goodbye resonates deeply with fans and staff alike. As we bid farewell to this iconic publication, we celebrate its remarkable journey and the passionate individuals behind its success.

Heartbreak in Elden Ring: The Circlet of Light Nerf
The latest Elden Ring update has left fans reeling with disappointment. The highly anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree DLC's 1.13 update aimed to fix various balance issues and bugs, but it also brought an unexpected change. The Circlet of Light helm, once a prized item for its versatile buffs to Miquella's incantations, now only boosts the Light of Miquella. This adjustment has removed the 10% damage buff to Discus of Light, Triple Rings of Light, Radagon's Ring of Light, and Multilayered Ring of Light, causing an uproar in the community. The Circlet of Light, a favorite among "Fashion Souls" enthusiasts for its aesthetic appeal and lightweight poise boost, has been significantly altered. While the fix ensures the Light of Miquella now benefits correctly, the loss of other buffs has left many players disheartened. Amid the excitement of new content, this change has sparked heated discussions and debate among Elden Ring fans.
