Nate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Malone University, Master of Science in Sport Administration from the University of Northern Colorado, an MBA from Purdue University and currently working toward his Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Are you a US Marine or service member trying to run a sub 18 minute 3 mile time? If so, I hope these running tips will help to set you up for success. You will need to sustain under 6 minute mile pace for 3 miles in order to run under the barrier.
So, how you are setting up your training is going to dictate how successful you are. It isn't about the volume of mileage you are doing as much as it is the quality. How often are you training at or FAR below sub 6 minute mile pace? Whether preparing for marine boot camp or a service school, this and future videos should provide some additional help.

Are you wondering how many miles a week should you run for marathon training? If so, I hope these running tips will be helpful to you. Marathon training is not about volume. You be running very high mileage and still never hit your goal time.
You need to think about quality work and using leverage instead. Focus on the other fundamentals that your competition may not be. I was able to lower my marathon PB from 2:43:36 to 2:19:35 using these strategies and tactics and I hope you get similar results too.

Sub 3 Hour 30 Minute Marathon Pro Tips to Get You to 3:29.59

Do you have as your goal to run under the sub 3 hour 30 minute marathon barrier? If so, I know this video will be of assistance to you. You will need to sustain 8:00 mile pace or4:58 per kilometer in order to run a 3:29:59.
Marathon training takes time. The optimal time frame is 16 to 20 weeks if you want to train properly and not be in a rush. My goal with this video is to share with you some tactics I used to run 2:19:35 for the marathon and hope you will get benefit from it.
