Why TOS and TNG Romulans Look Different
Both Romulans and Klingons underwent an appearance change, the former occurred between the TOS movies and TNG, whereas the latter occurred between TOS and the first of the TOS movies. A canon explanation was created for the Klingons in STE, but there is nothing for the Romulans. Of course I have no canon authority, but what I can do is derive an in-universe explanation by treating the fictitious universe as actual history.

How the Borg Probably Got Started
This is my theory on how the Borg got started. Of course it's not cannon, but as there is no cannon explanation my theory has just as much authority as anyone else's. As I have stated before, Star Trek is a system of mythology, and as such it has it's own history and rules. Whenever you know history it's possible to make predictions, both about the future and past (in the real world as well as a fictitious world).

Message to Amazon - Regarding a New Middle Earth Series
I heard a rumor that Amazon might abandon ROP and attempt another Tolkien series. I don't know whether or not that's true, or even being considered, but this is my advice for them should they decide to do that. They probably will not even see this, and if they do they will most likely not care to follow my advice, but if they want to make money then they would be wise to do so. As a general rule of business, if you want money from someone you should find out what it is that person wants and is willing to pay for.

"Rings of Power Goes" to the Theater
So now ROP is also going to be appearing in theaters, apparently, but only if you have some special membership. I suppose that will also chance, as they are most likely fishing in a very small pond, and with bait that is no good.
This is my take on this news as I read the article one of my friends shared with me.

"Rings of Power" is About More Than Money
This is my response to an article attempting to do damage control for the new "Rings of Power" series Amazon is producing. They are saying in the article that their motive are about more than money, which I agree with. My thinking is that it's about cultural demolition. Maybe Jeff Bezos really is a fan, but the people he has writing and directing this endeavor certainly are not.
This is my reaction as I read through the article, and is off the cuff rather than scripted, so in some places there is a bit of rambling. I wasn't going to do another video on this topic, but since it's taking me so long to do my next topic I decided to go ahead and do something which I could post in the interim.

Lord of the Woke
This concerns the "Rings of Power," and it is my official response to the corporate response to the fans. Unlike the corporate response, my response was generated after the fact. I do hope someone will see this and take note. Normally I try to focus on things that I like and find inspirational, but as a fairly hardcore Tolkien fan I feel obligated to defend his work, especially now that neither JRR Tolkien nor Christopher is around to defend.

My Take on Amazon's "Rings of Power" Series
Though I never had high expectations for this series, now that they have released information about the series I have something to respond to. A number of egregious errors present themselves in what little has been revealed thus far. I will not be watching this series, and these are my reasons.

How to Make Dr Who Solvent Again
These are my suggestions for how to save Dr Who and make it into something that people want to watch again. BBC should take note. I don't think they will, but they should if they want this series to become solvent. If they want to bring back the fans, have generational fans, and sell action figures, shirts, mugs, posters, etc., then here is what they need to do.

What Made Doctor Who Good
What did make Dr Who good? This is an analysis of the classic/original Dr Who series. The new series is so different it has to be judged separately.
Dr. Who belongs to BBC, and I have no interest in trying to make a profit off of this video. All images are being used for purposes of criticism only.

Examining Edger Rice Burroughs
Here I discuss a possible source of inspiration for Edger Rice Burroughs, much of which I found via fumbling around in search of myths.

What Happens After Lord of the Rings
This is my first attempt at trying to figure out what happens after Lord of the Rings. Basically, what I did was try to organize the other events that are in the lorebooks, which would chronologically come after LOTR. When there were two or more version of an event I gave precedence to whichever seemed to come later. There is a lot of uncertainty, because most of this stuff was never finished. I have to say that I'm only about 60% confident in what I have presented here. Also, I realize that doing something like this could potentially earn me some wrath, as Tolkien fans can be fairly harsh on lore interpretations (I know because I'm one of those people). So, if you find this wrong or offensive, do feel free to explain why without regard to whatever feelings I might potentially have. I endeavor to produce refined products, and I will probably revisit this topic, so criticism will be taken into account.
I actually recorded this video a while ago, and have since revised my position somewhat. I delayed for so long because many of the illustrations I needed did not exist. I was going to draw them myself, but because of the various issues and difficulties I only managed to produce little sketches of Aelfwine and Sheave. Eventually I'll do more.

Analysis of Dune
This is my analysis and view of the Dune series. Here I will discuss the Dune series by Frank Herbert, and some of the movies which have been made of it.
I know Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson are writing sequels and prequels but I don't have as much to say about them, so I won't get into that unless there's a request.

The Failure of Nu Trek
Now that I have discussed what made Star Trek good, I want to talk about what makes Nu Trek so bad. More specifically, why I have chosen not to follow the new iterations which bare the Star Trek name.

What Must be Done if New Star Trek is Made
As a lifelong Star Trek fan, this is my advice to ANYONE who decides to make a new Star Trek series. I realize that right now the prevailing tendency is to ignore the fans/consumers, so I don’t actually expect they are going to follow my advice even if they hear it, but I wanted to say what I had to say regardless. If enough of us say something, then they might eventually learn.
This will be my last Star Trek video for a while. I didn't meant to stick to this topic for as long as I have. But I stuck on it a while because it looks like they might be getting ready to do something else.

Is Star Trek TOS Dated?
I wanted to deal with the question of whether or not StarTrek The Original Series is outdated and if it should be redone/thrown out. The video turned out longer than I had planned, but I think I made some good points in it.

What Made Star Trek Good
I have been a Star Trek fan since I was about 10 or 11. I recently decided to look at the common threads that run through Star Trek and make it great. There is a winning formula there.

Is the Middle Earth supposed to be our world? The answer to this question isn't a clean yes or no, but I tried to answer it thoroughly.

The Passing of Christopher Tolkien
I wanted to say a few words about the death of Christopher Tolkien. Being a huge Tolkien fan, I had rather hoped that I would be able to write him and potentially hear back. Obviously that's not possible now, but I can at lest commemorate his work.
