HogLife

The hoglets are becoming more confident eating out on their own. Reggie went out and they stayed close to home eating insects and hedgehog food.

All the baby hedgehogs are out together tonight and bullying their mother, Reggie. When they go back to bed Reggie spends a long time gathering materials to improve their nest.

Two of the hoglets have a nose around and Reggie goes off and gets some leaves. She soon remembers she already has lots.

Reggie has a quiet night in and collects some leaves and twigs to make the hoglets more comfortable.

The adult hedgehogs went out for the night so one of the hoglets decides to explore.

Reggie has been living in a hedgehog house I put out last year. We know she has been there since around April time but she may have hibernated here all winter. She is raising a litter of baby hoglets in her little shelter. We leave special hedgehog food, mealworms and water out for her in the evening. My camera records in 1 minute intervals when it detects movement so choppiness is from me splicing the videos together. I've never edited video before so apologies in advance for mistakes.
