I met Rick during the Freedom convoy when he was the only elected politician in Ottawa (city councilor) who would recognize the reality that the truckers were peaceful and wished dialogue. Not "occupiers" as we'd been branded by Mayor Watson, Police Chief Bell and Justin Trudeau. This is a story of what happens to a good man trying to hold corruption to account in Ottawa. At the end Rick also addresses why he came forward to defend the Truckers. He's an absolute hero and I can't think of another Canadian who withstood so much AND STILL KEEPS FIGHTING.
