₹5000 dinner, Luxury India | VARQ
You know, I love traveling to countries and trying their local dishes, but after getting to know the local dishes a little bit, it would be a real shame, if I didn't see what and where chefs are taking Indian cuisine, so I decided to try eating at one of India's top rated restaurant's Varq.
With 5 courses but each course with huge portions or multiple dishes, this is the fullest I have ever been at the end of a find dining course or tasting menu. From South to North, the play on presentation, flavor, and story was something that will be ingrained in my memory for a very long time.
But the best part of tonight was the whole staff, thanks to Thomas and Mohit, for the friendliness and exceptional service.

Searching for Delhi's Best Burger | BURGER SHOWDOWN
Kent's Fast Food - An old school place, established since 1985 this place gives you that family run diner feel. Where everybody knows everybody and the staff feel like family. This place is been serving up a classic mutton burger, which was nothing like I was expecting. Still, it was delicious along side some masala spicy fries and a whole lot a whole grain mustard.
AKU’S - The Burger Co. - This is like the dress it up and make it as extravagant as possible burger spot. Loaded with toppings, the burger isn't going to leave you hungry at all. Bacon, cheese, caramelized onions, and more, I honestly, can't remember everything on this burger. When I walked in here too, I knew it was a place that I had to go al out, I loaded. up on parmesan, truffle, and parsley fries, and got a milkshake to go with it. The burger was by far the best.
But who ultimately wins??? That's the question.

INDIAN DHABA FOOD!!! $3.67 Mutton Korma 🇮🇳
Rajinder Da Dhaba - Dhaba food is something I feel like I don't see many foreigners try in India. But being a food person and someone that loves a new experience, I knew I had to try this out in India. And if I was going to do it, why not try at one of the most popular in Delhi. I have to say even before I took my first bite, I was enthralled just by the size and magnitude of this restaurant. After ordering and exploring a little bit, I soon found out that this place is home to 5-6 sections spanning from the main road, all the way to the back side eating area. The sections are marked off for certain types of foods, so I was lucky enough to pick a section that is my all time favorite, GRAVY!! I love all things gravy in India so this section was a little bit of heaven for me. The energetic staff, various types of food, and roti counter, made this place feel like an amusement park for food lovers.
After receiving my food, I quickly got initiated into the worlds of Dhaba food basics AKA how to make a Desi style onion. Seeing the two older gentlemen in their smart casual attire enjoying chicken curry with desi onion, meant only one thing, I too, wanted to try the desi onion. A quick grab and a few bangs later, I was on my way to trying my first desi onion with my first Dhaba meal in India.
At first I thought the price was a little much for Dhaba food, but after seeing the grand stature of mutton(I mean there were like 3 huge pieces!), I realized I had definitely gotten my moneys worth. Not to mention the flavor, the spice, the piquantness of this dish. Along with a rich, creamy, butter filled gravy, I quickly realized, this Dhaba quickly changed my "perception" of what a Dhaba truly is.
I want to give another shout out to the staff here, they are truly what makes the Dhaba, an experience of a lifetime.

Taking rickshaw driver to try INDIA'S BIGGEST PAKORA 🇮🇳
Knew I had some traveling to do this morning so I got started early. After a few unsuccessful tries with the smaller little bicycles, apparently I needed something with more power...like an Indian Helicopter and that is where Pao comes in. He took over and lead me in the right direction. After quoting a price that wasn't too bad, I decided to hop in.
But then it really started, he tried to take me to some touristy locations, but I am not that type of tourist. You all know I am here to eat!!! So after getting the message, we got on our way.
After a fun ride full of talking, feeding the cows, watching the monkeys and more we arrived.
You don't even have to be close to the restaurant to see these massive Pakora frying. I actually saw the Pakora before I even saw the sign. They do two types here a bread pakora and a paneer pakora. They do many other things as well like Chole Bhature, Samosas, and all types of sweets.
After more wondering around and finally deciding, well the lack of, I had to try both pakoras. The bread was nice but the paneer pakora is the must buy for me. It made the whole trip worth it, but the best part was getting to share it with these two bros.
After a successful breakfast, we had to take on a full on Lassie cheers and chug which always looks easier than it really is.
Now with a full on food baby we headed to the Metro and I got dropped off. After getting to know Pao, I couldn't help but wish him the best and hope that he and his family enjoy a wonder dinner together.
